I bought the Travoy as I 'm trying to live without a car in Miami( lol) and my ebike was struggling to carry enough groceries. I also live in a small apartment, so the Travoy looked perfect. It pretty much is! I use the rack adapter as my ebike has a suspension seatpost, and have managed to fit that and still be able to use a rear crate when I 'm not using the trailer. It rides so smoothly I keep having to check it's there! I still have n't managed to fill the market bags while shopping. On the first outing, one of the yellow wheel button covers vanished, but Burley sent me a new one straight away. No problems other than that. I 've managed to tip it on a narrow 90 degree turn, but the trailer stayed attached and was easy to right- no groceries lost. Very easy to fold and unfold and store in a closet. I 've used the straps and a bungee net to transport large A/C filters. I 've also used it without the bike just as a useful trolley. Most of my journeys are less than 5 miles, but I 'd have no qualms using this for longer distance trips or tours. Combined with a folding e- bike( on order) this trailer will give real flexibility. Every trip I 've had multiple people come and ask me about it. Hopefully opening their eyes to the possibilities of using a bike for daily trips. I love it. Any negatives? I think changing anything( e. g., making it wider) would help some aspects but not make it as useable for pulling round a store. So far so excellent.

Dear Sir/Madam, this is not really a review, but it is the only way( that I saw) on your website to give you feedback. I am an atypical user. I have no kids; I use my HoneyBee to hold* me* up. I have a form of muscular dystrophy called DM2 that, muscle- wise, tends to atrophy lower back and quad muscles. I* can* walk — I* should* walk — but my back tends to collapse forward unless it is supported. The HoneyBee with its widely adjustable handle works great so I can literally walk miles. For ballast I carry camera gear including a tripod. The HoneyBee works great for this. My problem? I got a flat tire the other day. The problem was the outer heavy- duty rubber had cracked all the way around the tire, thus, allowing the inner tube to slide. I ’ m not after a replacement; I just want to bring it to your attention. My HoneyBee rarely leaves a concrete sidewalk so this should not be from wear- and- tear. It strikes me that the “ disability ” market may be something for you to explore. Have been using this product for jogs and bike rides for about 30 days now, probably about 60 miles on it and so far very satisfied. Rides smooth. Purchased this in anticipation of having two kids in it, but so far have only had one. One minor flaw, when in bike mode, the front wheel tends to shake loose and just drag on the pavement. Easily fixed with a velcro loop or a flexible gear tie. Kind of surprised this is not provided with the product, as I do n't see how anyone could bike with this and not secure the wheel. I am definitely going to get my moneys worth, and I would recommend this to anyone.

No, I do not personally own one of the racks, but coming from a person with loads of ladder rack and vehicle rack purchasing and using experience, this may the coolest, most useful product I ’ ve ever come across. Kit worked well. I changed the mount from inside the trailer to outside( who wants to lose space in the trailer bed?) by getting some additional u- bolts and L- brackets to replace the bottom mounting plates. I did have to replace the bolts used to attach the tie down points, as the wrench needed to tighten them would not reach inside the cross bar.$ 2. 50 worth of slightly smaller bolts, nuts and washers fixed the issue. I still need to cut off the excess bolt threads, but it is going to work great for carrying kayaks while still allowing the trailer to be used for hauling other items.

We bought this trailer because we were going to an island for a week without a car and we needed to be able to pack a lot more than would fit into our bike panniers. This flatbed trailer was perfect for us and the price was reasonable as well. We packed about 100lbs onto the trailer and we were able to pull it along for the 10 miles to our cabin and then back to the ferry, no problem. Bought this trailer to transport kids backpacks to school in the morning, and to take their bikes( 2 of them) home after drop off. Works well. Looked at several other options( i. e. Nashbar), but settled on this one for size despite being fairly costly. Super easy to assemble, and I really like the connection to my bike. Very easy to maneuver. The metal rails are scratched very easily, but I do n't think that impacts anything. I use some bungee cords to tie everything down. Have put the RTIC cooler on it as well for grocery store trips, and it all seems to work well.

We bought this for going on walks, bike rides and snowshoeing adventures. It is very manouverable and packable. Switching between the stroller and bike setup is incredibly easy. The harnesses are comfortable and easy to use. The storage pocket in the back is well worth it. The only improvement I would recommend is the front cover connection. When the cover is correctly aligned over the frame it latches, but otherwise it can slip off. It has n't been a problem for our use, but it is an area where things could be improved. Overall this is the best, most versatile stroller on the market. The attachments are well worth it.

I ’ ve had double wheel trailers to pull kids, but when you just have cargo, the single wheel version is much easier to pull and navigate. Hooking onto the axle nuts is pretty straightforward, but there ’s a little bit of rattle, so wish it was a bit tighter fit. Pulling is pretty easy with an E bike even on low levels. Keep the heaviest items on the bottom of the trailer and ride on. I also have the cargo dry bag, and pannier dry bags which complements this trailer for multiple adventure purposes, or just going to the grocery store and having room for lots of food

[ I fell in love with family bike rides again! We had a different trailer and even though it seemed lightweight( the bottom always seemed like it was going to scrape against the ground once my child got in), it always felt heavy on my bike. My husband tried the stroller adapter out first and said he could n't feel the trailer, and when I tried it myself, I honestly could n't either. It also is fairly narrow for a bike trailer, so it was easy to take even sharp corners and bumps were easy with the shocks. We had the stroller originally, and so the conversion kit has been great to help us free up space in the garage from our separate jogging stroller and bike trailer. Set up was maybe 10 minutes and there was only a tiny bit of confusion at one step. Our daughter loved climbing in and going for a ride! [ I had been wanting a bike trailer to cart the kids around on weekend adventures, but was struggling with finding something that was affordable and made sense for us. We already had a regular stroller, and some of the other trailers out there, while usable as a stroller, are also super bulky when off the bike. Enter this one. What I love about it is it gives you options. You can take the easy to use converter, so easy to put together and install, once I got the hang of it, it took a few minutes to move things around, downside was I had to take the kid out to convert it, but I ca n't imagine that is different from other products out there, hook it up to the bike, toss the wheel in the basket and go to town. You can then park your bike, remove the adaptor and have a stroller to push around if exploring un- bikable areas. We have two children and one stroller, so one child sits in a seat on one persons bike while the other sits in the stroller, so the obvious con is that should there be two kids and one parent, a bike ride is n't going to work until the older child can keep up on his own, however, for a day of family fun and adventure this fits the bill. [ Baby Jogger City Prix Bike Trailer Conversion Kit is a must have if you own a City Prix jogging stroller. The trailer conversion kit is very well constructed, assembled easy, only required snapping side bars in place. The bike connection piece installation was straightforward, took us less than 5 minutes to complete. It requires socket wrench or similar tools. I had to remove my bike kickstand due to connection piece thickness and the length of the screw won ’ t accommodate both. Stroller front wheel comes off easily with push button, conversion kit snaps right onto it. It is easier if you have a helper but 1 person can also complete the task. My kid absolutely love this bike trailer. She is thrilled by the entire riding experience, it seems very comfortable as well. It takes a while to get used to the turning radius of the bike trailer, other than that, no significant difference than biking without trailer. I prefer this over the bike seat for kids, it feels safer, shelter kids from sun and rain, kids can bring along their favorite toy or snack. I purchased these straps for securing my kayak in my truck, and have used them for securing other things as well, and they hold tightly, no slipping. I always pull over and check my ties after being on the road with the full force wind working against my lines, and, unlike rope and knots, these buckles do n't give anything up. Works for me!

Like it so far- we have a Rav 4 Adventure and had to put the rack in the middle which makes it a little harder to get the Kayaks on the roof. It might have been better if we bought two separate units so they could be closer to the side of the Rav. Also with the support straight up, the bigger Kayak needs to be held until you get the first strap on it. All that said, the rack seem strong and the Kayaks rode well.

I am avid kayaker and there are times when I need the stretch of a bungee with the security of a snap closure. My wife prefers the CargoLoc 45 '' diy paddle keeper I made her over my store bought Yak Attack. She says, `` It feels sturdier and it is just the right length for her needs. '' My Kayak cover will hold up to a 13' but my 'Yak is only 12. So I connect an end of a CargoLoc 45 '' to the cover's handle at each end to take up the slack. We bought this so we had extra storage when we moved and we were able to pack quite a bit of things in it. If you 've never driven with a rooftop cargo box it does change the aerodynamics of your car/van. You also have to make sure you already have crossbars to install it on but other than that, it is super easy to set up. Overall we are very pleased with it.
