Best travel backpack I have purchased. Tough and durable, it is really well designed and assembled. Plenty of pockets, almost everything is secured behind a zipper. It fits easily under the seat on a SWA flight. Front pocket for your tickets, top shallow pocked for phone, wallet, and watch while going through TSA. Stands up and is pretty balanced. You laptop is very protected, especially if you drop the back pack off a chair or sit it down too hard.

Used this pack over 3 days and 30 miles summitting King's Peak in Utah. I purposely packed more luxury camp items for a total pack weight of 30 pounds. At that weight the pack was the most comfortable and least sweaty of any I 've ever used. I nearly purchased the pro 55, but some of the features of the standard 58 really make for a more comfortable journey. I can always do the top brain and shave 4- 5 ounces, if desired to get within 7- 8 ounces of the Pro and hit the trail with far more comfort in the shoulder straps, hip padding, andplaces to lay my trekking poles.

I couldn ’ t ask for a more comfortable pack. The adjustment options, along with the front stuff pocket proved to make my hike much more enjoyable. The only thing that needs to be changed is the cinch straps cross the side pockets. It was difficult to remove and replace my water bottles without first stopping to remove my pack.

[ I use it to go watch the The Annual Perseid Meteor Shower on a top of a small mountain. The trek was around 5km to go and near 600m high. We packed a 3 person tent, slipping bag, under mat, water, munchies, small burner, small stove fuel, coffee, spare clothes, Swiss Army knife, compass, headlamp and a beer. [ I bought another version of this backpack for myself earlier this summer and I loved it so much my girlfriend ended up getting this one. Great size for a smaller camping trip. Fits comfy and the pockets are located in great spots. Does n't feel cheap and has yet to cause any issues for me. Would recommend getting a front pouch for snacks to go along with this just cause reaching into the bag while walking is not that easy. Not too difficult to grab water bottles from side pockets which is better than most larger bags.
