[ Bought these awhile back- tungsten sinkers work much better than lead& are not as bad for the environment. I also lose a lot less because tungsten does n't compress like lead so it does n't get stuck in places where lead would

5 SBO513
All I use is tungsten weights anymore. These are great weights and a decent price.

These weights are great for flipping or really any type of bottom worm or jig fishing. I love the sensitivity this gives a Texas rigged worm. I can feel muscles on the bottom to sticks and all sorts of cover. Also seems to magnify the bite.

Frequently Asked Questions For Tungsten Bullet Weights

Tungsten bullet weights are primarily used in fishing to help anglers achieve better casting distance and accuracy. They are particularly effective for techniques such as Texas rigging and flipping, allowing for a streamlined presentation that can penetrate heavy cover. Their density also helps them sink quickly, making them ideal for reaching fish that are deeper in the water.

Tungsten bullet weights offer several advantages over traditional lead weights, including a smaller size for the same weight, which allows for a more natural presentation. They are also more environmentally friendly, as tungsten is less harmful to aquatic ecosystems compared to lead. Additionally, tungsten provides better sensitivity, allowing anglers to feel even the slightest bites.

Yes, tungsten bullet weights can be used in various fishing scenarios, including freshwater and saltwater fishing. They are particularly popular among bass anglers but can also be effective for other species. Their versatility makes them suitable for different techniques, such as flipping, pitching, and Carolina rigging.

Choosing the right size of tungsten bullet weight depends on several factors, including the type of bait being used, the depth of water, and the fishing conditions. Generally, lighter weights are suitable for shallow water or when using lighter baits, while heavier weights are better for deeper water or when fishing in windy conditions. It's important to match the weight with your fishing technique for optimal performance.

When using tungsten bullet weights, consider factors such as water clarity, current, and cover type. In clear water, lighter weights may be more effective to avoid spooking fish, while in murky water, heavier weights can help get your bait down quickly. Additionally, if fishing in heavy cover, a streamlined tungsten weight can help navigate through obstacles more effectively.
