Alphafly 2 has been my only running shoe, so I ’ m sorry to see it appears to be on the way out. I hope the 3 is just as good. I love the booty fit without the need to deal with a loose tongue. Grab the loops at the top and back to slip on more easily. The laces did dig into the top of my feet, but problem solved with a Lydiard- style lacing( see photo).

All have worn well unless I try to take them off without undoing the laces, or scrape them on concrete. I wear mine daily. I have narrow feet with exceptionally high arches. As for this model compared to the Alphafly 2 and original…they improved them tremendously. They are snug without pressure, better foam profile, and the lacing system doesn ’ t untie easily. I recently used these shoes at the Big Sur International Marathon. This course has it all it rained the majority of the race, so I had wet roads, a lot of big up and down hills, and also a long section of the road where the road angled off steeply to one side. I have been a VF3 runner the past season. These shoes were even better the VF4s will be my go- to marathon race shoe for the rest of the season!

My husband and I went to store to find pickle ball or court shoes as he plays almost daily indoor or outdoor. His shoes run down fast and were told only certain court shoes available. The staff told us he can try the shoes and order online if size not available. My husband tried on the similar shoes with different color, staff able to order online and ship to our house. I do n't say this lightly but these shoes are incredible. Fit, feel, perfect amount of cushion with perfect response. If I had to find some imperfection I 'd say the togue could use just a little more cushion.

These shoes fit true to size and are amazingly comfortable. They are soft and squishy enough to survive 10- hour days working on concrete but also rock solid on runs and in the gym. When running, you 'll feel them propel you forward for the next step. I 'm also a bit of wide footer and these have plenty of room in the forefoot/toe area for me. Great shoes! My only complaint was a small part of the toe cap started to peel up after a few months of wearing them, but I was able to carefully super glue it back into place.

Great shoes. I 've been on a search for shoes that have enough cushion for road running after getting tendinitis from running in too barefoot of a shoe. These feel great but do n't feel like I 'm running in stilts like the higher stack shoes. Really glad I found these.

I was n't thrilled with any of the women 's models/colors in wide width, so I decided to purchase the Men 's Escalante 4( mens regular is equivalent to womens wide width) instead. I wear a 10- 10. 5 wide in womens and went with the mens size 9 in black/white- perfect fit. Of course I wish the color was a bit more feminine, but at least there was a neutral option! I 'm new to the wide toe box, zero drop but I 'm absolutely in love with this shoe& hope I never have to go back to traditional tennis shoes. Zero- drop requires some adjustment time- my calves have been BURNING on walks, so I 've had to slow it down. FYI I tried Flux footwear first, but they are ridiculously narrow, so I had to return( also beware their return policy). I wear my new altras for walking and strength training primarily, and I plan to wear them when I visit London for 10 days in October. So happy with my purchase overall. One critique is I 'd like to see more wide- width options for women.

So far I ’ ve used it wading off the beaches in Belize and have had no issues with them. They are comfy and sturdy. The arches are slightly high if you have flat feet like mine but I quickly got use to them. I also went a half size up to pair them with the Fly weight wading socks.

First trip in my Simms Flats Sneakers was on a weeklong bonefishing trip to Mars Bay on South Andros. I normally wear a shoe size of 7. 5- 8 wide, but went with size 9 on the Flats Sneakers with the neoprene socks. Fit was great. Very lightweight but not sprinter thin. It is good for a longer run like 400 or 800 up. Fits well normally the shoe size I buy is 13 and this was a 12. 5. It is a snug fit but good for a race. I would recommend this shoe. It has had some track action and still holding up well

First off the spike is super light. So far I ’ ve only ran 3k steeple in these but I can not wait to lace em up for a 5k. They feel fast, and propel you forward without being too aggressive, so it is fantastic for distance. Only recommendation is more color ways

I bought this spike for some upcoming 5k/10k track races and ended up with huge PR 's of 14: 58/ 30: 56 the first two times using this spike! They felt exceptionally smooth and durable for the 10k( much better comfort and energy level than compared to previously used dragonfly 's) with a very light feel. I believe these spikes lose their comfort the shorter the distance becomes however, as I personally would not recommend using these in a race shorter than 1500m. Additionally, I have had two instances of blisters forming on my heel as a result of these spikes, so I would be weary of racing in these without sturdier socks/ band- aid for cushioning.
