They look soo cute because it ’s more flowy- it looks almost like a skirt on me. The top layer has a very thin yet durable feel to it. I love that there is an extra layer lining under as the top layer is pretty thin along with the color of the fabric. The inside is just as silky smooth and you can barely feel it. There ’s a Drawstring inside the waistband that can not be seen- I love it when it ’s inside because it creates that sleek look to them. There is even a zippered pocket outside on the leg as well as another on the waistband in the back; this is super important for me because I hate things falling out and I never like bringing any bags with me when I ’ m going out and about. My last favorites were Columbia( from 4- 5 years ago), which I had to `` retire '' this year... they 've seen a lot of wear, and have held up great! I have shorts that fit me well from size 4- 8, just depends on the style. I tried size 6 in the 5 '' inseam, but the waist was a little snug, so I returned for size 8, which fit perfectly. I still have room in the hips, but they fit nicely and give me some shape. And my legs do n't look like sticks hanging out of a barrel!;) This fabric has a nice, silky feel to it. Some of the others I tried were a bit stiff and `` papery '' feeling. I highly recommend these.

[ I recently purchased these shorts to use while fishing in the Bahamas. They have become my new favorite go- to shorts because they are soft, stretchy, and extremely comfortable. I wouldn ’ t use them as primary swim trunks but you can certainly get them wet and they will dry in about an hour out in the sun. I use these shorts any time I ’ m near the water, hiking, working out, or just doing chores outdoors.

The ripstop like, grid material wo n't work for everyone in social situations but its fine for me and the material is excellent for high output activities. I just wish these came in a 28 '' waist. The 30 '' waist is huge on me so I have to cinch the drawstring down which makes the material at the waist bunch up( I 'm a 5' 5 '', 130 lbs guy). The only other improvement I could think of would be to add a similar comfort waistband to the one found on the ROC series.
