I have a hiking/trekking shoe problem( name the brand, I might have 2 pair), and if I had to pick only ONE, to wear every day.. doing every thing.. for eternity... it's got to be this one. Sizing: I 'm an 11. 82, medium. I have the greys size 12 here. Great fit, there 'd be extra room if needed. Toe box remains roomy due to lacing grid, but it's welcomed. Nothing thicker socks/insoles ca n't fix of course if it pleases you. Closest thing to a barefoot shoe that I 've put on and liked. They call this a barefoot and I wo n't put up a fight, but they seem pretty tall( FOR a bf shoe). In any case, it's close, and I do love the grounded feel, but only because the tread is so supportive. Ya know how most shoes are either very technical, or, `` go straight! '' etc etc? These, you 're just kind of, surfing B) What's the Catch?... 1) I 'm aware of some longevity concerns w/ tread, but I 'd imagine the give- or- take goes to the shoe FTW- anything reasonable would be worth it b/c the shoe is that great. 2) I 'd be lying if I was n't a bit concerned about the construction of the eyelets- they give the impression that too many tough yanks will make them angry. Worst case, you can craft some metal loops into the shoes, and gives you a reason to visit w/ your local tailor and share stories:)

[ I was finally happy to see a wide light weight hiker from Keen. For awhile most of their light weight hikers never came in wide, so this is very welcome. The shoe overall is well build with solid traction. They are sneaker comfortable out of the box but I do wish they had slightly more arch support. The lack of arch support was solved by using a Keen foot insert, the k- 10. Tons of room the toe box too.

The waterproofing worked well( as it should because they are new). My only complaint is that padding on the ankles makes them pretty wide at the ankle and that tends to catch debris and funnel it down into the shoe... so they are not my pick for places where there is a lot of trail debris.... or perhaps I should have used gaiters. [ When looking for the best running shoes, it often comes down to three key factors comfort, durability, and support. The Nike V2K Run Goretex has all three!! Got these in low top. These are great! Coming off a pair of Moab 2 lows for hiking I feel these are a definite upgrade in looks and comfort. I think Merrell hit the nail on the head with the styling, I actually am tempted just to wear these as a daily without hiking in them, I do n't want to get them dirty! They look fantastic with jeans. Also note that these leather ones are more comfortable than the Speed 2 Goretex version... I tried on that pair and the cut outs for the ankle were higher and rubbed my ankle. There is no rubbing on these, however they are slightly heavier than the Speed 2 goretex. I imagine because this uses leather.

I ’ m a size 12 through and through, but these in the same size were tight. The toe box is smaller than normal. Also you need to take into account feet swelling and perhaps thicker socks. Although the shoe is true to size, you may need to up a size if you have wider feet. The shoe is very comfortable and light weight, it felt like I was walking on clouds. I own a couple pairs of the air Max 270 running shoes so I figured these would be perfect in the same size, 11. 5. not true, though extremely comfortable, the upper does n't stretch as much as the running shoe because of the waterproof coating that limits the stretch. These are fine true to size for narrow feet but if you have a wider foot buy a half size to full bigger. Still worth every penny.

Size 9 is a little tight but the snugness helps in the feel and grip connection with the ground during a full swing. I walk 18 three or four times a week and these shoes are awesome. I have 3 pairs of em. Sturdy, well built, and great feel when setting up and swinging.

I have been waiting to buy a pair of these but have struggled to get a pair in my size which is 12 1/2 but after reading reviews I decided to go with a size 13 when those came in stock. A normal Nike shoe I would wear a 12 and wear golf shoes at 12 1/2 and all the narrow reviews in other reviews that say the shoe was too small is false don ’ t go any larger than a half size up if you like a nice and snug fit on your feet. The shoe feels and looks great compared to my infinity tour shoes that I also own.

Took a chance and ordered 3 pair. The BEST golf shoe Nike has put out( and that says a lot.) Just a tad snug, but the amount of support and locked in stability while swinging is unreal. Great grip for a spikeless shoe. The waterproof coating looks like it will hold up well although it was dry during my round. Kept the shoes clean as advertised. Well done Nike!!

This shoe really impresses beyond the great looks. As my first spikeless golf shoe I was blown away by the traction/grip on the shoes in post- rain grass. Great foot/ankle stability... waterproof... and very good comfort. This shoe is a winner. These shoes are second only to my Zoom Air Infinity Tours which have first class cushioning technology. 2 cons( minor)... I had to get a half size larger. Shoes are not narrow, just small in length. Also, these shoes are heavier than most golf shoes these days.

I have to say I was worried after reading the reviews of the 270G being narrow. After getting on the course it did take me 2 holes to realize this was the most comfortable golf shoe I ’ ve ever worn. I don ’ t have a wide foot or thick from top to bottom. But for me these are priceless. The best part is the guarantee on the shoe against water. Has a silicone like she ’ ll and believe me it works. Three to four rounds in heady dew I ’ m sold. Actually wipe off easily as well. I have to give these five stars!!! Just orders my second pair because who knows how long they ’ ll last.

Shoes are narrow as everyone says, but fit snug and break in. The big plus here is the waterproofing for morning golf with the dew. My prior shoes were mesh and feet soaked hole round. These keep feet super dry.
