I really wanted a slip on boot for running to the gym, etc. I wanted them to be waterproof so they would last longer than a season and I was so thrilled when I saw these. They are a little stiffer to get on, but they come off very easy. I am so excited about them. I usually wear an 8. 5 in the regular boots, and a 9 in any of the snowboot type shoes Sorel makes. I have never, in my adult life, worn anything smaller than a 10 in any shoe( boot, sneaker, sandal, heel) but the size 10 in these was considerably larger than I could wear! I have flat arches and over pronating hind feet so I was thrilled my orthotics fit in place of the company made insoles. There is arch support in the Tivoli Resort that is comparable to that in Tivoli. The higher platform and deep tread is ideal for the snowy slushy winter terrain. The insulation works perfectly even in below 10 degree weather with windy conditions. The higher top and faux help keep the ankle to calf part of lower leg protected and warm. I ’ m even comfortable in them for an 8- hour shift in retail involving going up and down ladders. Highly recommend for women with C width feet( wider than typical but not quite wide.). Have always loved Sorel boots and needed a new boot with good traction because my arches have fallen and feet have spread. Over the years the boots have gone from being roomy in the toe area to more narrow and fashion oriented. I was afraid this boot wouldn ’ t be wide enough in the toe box to accommodate my bad bunions. This boot worked well with a little bit of stretching in the forefoot. It looks like it might be heavy to walk in but I didn ’ t find that at all. I needed waterproof lightweight AND comfortable walking boots for my trip to Ireland in October. After doing a bunch of research, I noticed SOREL kept coming up. I find that many waterproof boots are uncomfortable to wear for long periods of time, esp. when walking long distances as I ’ m used to getting 16, 000- 25, 000 steps/day come rain or shine. All of the reviews for this boot kept talking about how comfy these shoes are and how well they hold up to the weather. I am THRILLED I decided to go for it. They live up to ALL the hype as far as comfortably, fit, easy to get on and off without a lot of fuss like other laced boots, grip and warmth. I can ’ t speak to dryness as I haven ’ t worn them in the rain or snow yet, but I ’ m sure they will be fine. They do run true to size, however if you use an insert like Dr Scholls, you should go up a half size. I ’ m normally a 10, but brought the 10. 5 to make sure I had room enough for my Plantar Fasciitis insert and a good sock. The 10. 5 is a perfect fit. I also love how stylish these are- can be dressed up or down. If you ’ re on the fence about this purchase don ’ t wait a moment longer.

For reference, my foot length is 25 cm and width 10 cm, and the size I tried on was EU 39( just because the retailer sent me a wrong size; I initially ordered EU 40). The size fit me but was really snug. I then tried these same shoes in a store and found out my perfect size was EU 40, 5 if I wantes to fit a thicker sock. I never ended up getting these for good though. They are so chic and quite comfy but I ’ m still thinking if they ’ re really practical and fit my style.

These boots are exactly what I 've been looking for! I live in the Cascade Mountains and walk around town in the snow and ice every single day. So far, the traction, warmth, and waterproofing of these shoes has been elite. I have tested these out for hours out on icy and snowy sidewalks, trails, and roads with no issues. I have yet to use them for snowshoeing, but I am looking forward to that as well. They are extremely comfortable and cute, which is a bonus. Where I live( Washington DC) we do n't get crazy amounts of snow, but we will have the occasional winter storm and get 6- 10 inches or so. I needed a boot to keep my feet warm and dry when I walk my dog, run errands, etc. But I did n't need super heavy duty boot to shovel snow in. I chose this because I liked that the shaft was n't too high, so I could still wear it with most of my pants. We just had a winter storm. The snow was deep enough that it covered my entire boot and yet they kept my feet SUPER warm and I did n't feel slippery when walking on ice. The waterproof material kept my feet dry, and they are also SUPER CUTE! I am a true 7. 5( according to the size chart; my feet are 24 cm), but I still ordered a size 8 based on reviews saying it ran small, and I think I made the right decision. I think if I ordered my exact size I would n't have room to wear thick socks.

I bought these for my mother whose previous boots she bought in the 90's finally gave up. She loved them when she got them and the mushroom color looks just like the silvery grey she had before. She had struggled to find a pair that had a reasonable heel and were comfortable inside, but these were perfect. I have these in tan and black, my absolute go- to winter boot. I do not wear socks, I just step in and go, leaving the laces loose. These boots are extremely warm even with one pair of regular old socks. I normally wear an 8 but bought a 9. They are a bit big and run wide especially in the heel area, and I probably could ’ ve gotten away with an 8. I kept them because I ’ d rather be able to wear thick socks and not have anything start to rub my feet uncomfortably after a while. I wore these for hours trekking up and down hills with my kids, and my feet were warm and comfy the whole time. They are completely waterproof as well. Can ’ t recommend them enough!

I recieved this product as a gift but it has honestly become my new everyday show this past winter and spring! As a college student I ’ m always on the go and even though these boots are platforms the sole is cushioned and I ’ m able to feel comfortable when I wear them all day. Even though they ’ re treated with bear coat some stains are a bit difficult to come out. But it is water repellent and I do enjoy that!

I found these while searching for a pair of long lasting waterproof snow proof winter boots. I have to say I ’ m very picky about boots, so when I got these, I was a little disappointed to see they didn ’ t have a side zipper, but that ’s my fault for not reading thoroughly. The description says leather and suede upper, but that ’s only the stripe, the actual majority of the boot is a soft canvas, which isn ’ t what I was looking for. I wasn ’ t a huge fan of the shape of them, as they seem to accentuate the widest point of my calf, but overall they ’ re very nice and they fit well when I tried them on. They are thick inside so they might feel tight with a thick sock, but they were immediately super warm so a thick sock doesn ’ t seem really necessary. I haven ’ t worn them in snow or water, so I can ’ t speak to that. I most likely will exchange these for a pair of Merrell tall lace Polar boots that I had wanted but were out of stock.

I wanted to try the 6 ” nylon ankle ice boots because I love the 6 ” deck boots I wear almost daily. They are very comfortable once on, have great support, good traction and are very warm! The only complaint I have, is that the top opening is not as wide as the regular deck boots, which makes them harder to just slip on and go. I had noticed that in the few reviews I had read, but wanted to try them anyway. A long handled shoehorn is needed, for me at least. Perhaps the designers thought a narrower opening would make them warmer, but it doesn ’ t allow for thicker socks. I kept them but probably won ’ t buy another pair in the future unless the opening is redesigned.

I live in Minnesota and my outside winter activities are limited to walking outside only- I 'm not a winter weather sort of gal but I do like to stay upright when I 'm walking. These are not beautiful, and they 're a bit of a bugger for me to pull on, but I have n't fallen a single time since I 've gotten these and I 'm thankful. There have been some slippy bits along the way but I 've never fallen, the grip is phenomenal and they 're warm. I 'm very happy with these. A bit pricey but well worth it overall.

My daughter is a size 8 and the 8 fit her perfectly. She loves the white color, and I love the rubber encased foot to lock out rain and snow. The toggle lace is nice when she has on snow gloves and would have trouble with normal ties.
