I have sensitive feet and was surprised the arch was supportive enough and that the heel area was narrow enough to keep heel in place. I brought my hiking shoes to wear and after three hours I took them off( heel and top of foot were hurting) and put on these boots. Enough structure to hold foot in place.

I wore these for several hikes including the challenging Kalalau trail on the North shore of Kauai and the Captain Cook hike on the Big Island. They served me well with good traction and good fit( I bought a half size larger than I typically wear to allow a bit of wiggle room). I washed the red dirt of Kauai off pretty easily with just water and left them in the sun to dry. They dried relatively quickly. These are waterproof and while I did n't submerge them in water, my feet stayed dry after crossing a few streams. Overall, these are terrific hiking boots! The only downside is my feet did get hot hiking in the 80 degree weather so maybe not as cool as some other styles, but I was having so much fun hiking, this was barely noticeable! They 'll be perfect for hiking in my homestate of MN!

So when I wanted a nice pair of casual waterproof winter walking boots in the Chelsea style, I was thrilled to see that Ariat made them! Note: I first purchased reg width( wide, my width, was n't avail at the time) in size 8- 1/2 the boot itself fit perfect but the tops were too narrow above the ankle& rubbed my leg. I exchanged for wide width( avail after Christmas!) size 9( as 8- 1/2 were n't avail), I so wanted these boots. The top part above ankle does n't rub( yay) but the boot is way big for my foot. I bought super thick wool socks and manage but still too big on my feet, they slide as I walk. An 8- 1/2, wide- width would 've been perfect for me but I do n't believe they return 2x's. I wear them but can not walk fast in them and I 'm a NYer, oxymoronic. Highly recommend Ariat's Wexford Chelsea waterproof boots regardless! Super boots.

I really wanted a slip on boot for running to the gym, etc. I wanted them to be waterproof so they would last longer than a season and I was so thrilled when I saw these. They are a little stiffer to get on, but they come off very easy. I am so excited about them. I usually wear an 8. 5 in the regular boots, and a 9 in any of the snowboot type shoes Sorel makes. The 9 fit great.

I use these for work. The best I have ever had. I have had about 5 pair and love them all except for one. I just started wearing the color major/wet sand. I don ’ t love the suede type material and they are more stiff than all the others. You guys got rid of the best color. I don ’ t remember the name but it was lighter in color. You should bring that back and get rid of the major/wet sand. The material is different and not as comfortable.

[ This is the second time I ’ ve bought this exact boot. They are lightweight but waterproof. The sole takes a lot of wear and tear but doesn ’ t wear down quickly. The only downside I ’ ve had is that the strings break rather quickly compared to the life of the boot, but really that ’s just proof that the boot is so durable and long- lasting!

I ’ ve had these boots since 2018 when I bought them while active duty military, here it is Fall of 2023 and they ’ re still my favorite “ recreational ” boot. I ’ ve worn these to everything from when I got engaged to when it ’s raining and I just want to keep my feet dry. If you ’ re looking for a boot that can eat the elements up and still look good doing it, they ’ re worth the price.( Only caveat is I have custom orthotic inserts I wear so I can ’ t speak to the quality of the insole, but I can ’ t imagine they ’ d be any less quality than the rest of the boot)

I ’ m a size 12 through and through, but these in the same size were tight. The toe box is smaller than normal. Also you need to take into account feet swelling and perhaps thicker socks. I wore these for the first time all day hiking around Grand Cyn Village. I was surprised there was no uncomfortable rubbing or stiffness which is very common with new hiking shoes. I was very impressed!

Fit perfectly from day 1 and I used them for hiking, ordinary wear around town, and even to a casual restaurant dinner. Got many compliments along the way. I have flat arches and over pronating hind feet so I was thrilled my orthotics fit in place of the company made insoles. There is arch support in the Tivoli Resort that is comparable to that in Tivoli. The higher platform and deep tread is ideal for the snowy slushy winter terrain. A lot of Danner boots/shoes in Regular Width, have become to narrow and the wide width, is simply to wide for me. Typical Danner quality here with just a day of Air travel and walking through airports to get a good break in. They are a stable low top with very little side to side rolling. I am a sz 11 and there is just a little bit of heal slip if I dont tighten the laces up tightly. Good looking shoe too, as I had several compliments in Charlotte and Ohare airports

I love Merrell Moab ’s, wear them every day and have 5 pair. But as hot as this summer has been, I wanted a pair of lighter weight shoes. I started with Merrell styles, but had no luck getting a good fit for my problem feet—a neuroma and plantar fasciitis on one foot and a bunion on the other. I also tried styles from all the highly rated shoes for walking, including those with gel insoles. They all bothered my neuroma, and the gels were so bouncy they made me feel a little unsteady on my feet. For reference, my foot length is 25 cm and width 10 cm, and the size I tried on was EU 39( just because the retailer sent me a wrong size; I initially ordered EU 40). [ I bought these before a trip to hike Joshua Tree and was impressed with all the reviews indicating they were super comfortable and didn ’ t have to be broken in. So I bought them and have zero regrets! I wore them with a pair of Smartwool socks and had them on more than half the day and didn ’ t have one second of discomfort. I ’ ve recommended these to everyone but remember they ’ re not waterproof.

[ I haven ’ t had a chance to wear these hiking yet, but based on wearing them around the house, they feel great. They aren ’ t stiff at all. I normally wear a size 8 in boots and sneakers, but had to exchange these for a 7. 5. Even with thick socks, the 8 was too big. Can ’ t wait to try them out this weekend!

[ These boots are very comfortable. True to size and lightweight. The construction is sturdy. The only thing that needs improvement is the laces do n't hold that well as they are tied from the toe up, they slide on the material of the boot. I give the laces a lot of tension as I lace up from the toe to the tie. Otherwise a great boot.

[ Extremely comfortable and great quality. My first time wearing them was during a weekend trip to the mountains- had them on my feet all day, wore them around town, and then went on a 3 mile hike through dirt, mud, and some shallow stream. They were extremely comfortable and didn ’ t need any break in, plus they kept my feet dry. All the mud washed off very easily with a light brush and some warm water the next day. They run true to size.

[ Have the Trail 2650 in wide size and needed new heavier boots. Since the Trail fit me well I tried the Panorama and am happy so far- I did 18k steps in one day without any break- in and had no issues. I find these very comfortable, fairly light, and excellent fit for those with wide feet. I have been happy with durability of the Trail so I 'm assuming that will be the case with these as well. About the only quirk is the tongue and lacing- it did take me some trial and error to get the right placement of tongue under the laces. Other reviewers have mentioned it so it's real, but in my opinion it just takes a little tweaking to find the right lace tension& tongue placement.
