They run small and narrow, but I was able to find a size that fits. I wish they were slip resistant. They meet my employers requirements( strange enough), but would be amazing for many others if only slip resistant. I wish the Ghost max 2( not leather) would come in more colors in wide. I have been wearing Brooks shoes for about 20 years and have tried several different models. The Addictions Walkers were the best for my job, police officer. However, it took me a while to find the right model for everyday use, after work. I have hip and lower back issues. The Walkers were not good for long period wear. The Adrenalines, Glycerins, Ghosts, Beasts and Addiction GTS are all mostly for running and wore down my hips and back. When the Ghost Max SE came out, I tried them on and the difference was amazing. I walk with my wife on a track that, with the other shoes, I could only make it once around because of the hip and back pain. I now make it around three times with very little discomfort. I bought my current pair the end of January and intend to buy another before we go on vacation in Florida the end of August. They are not only great for comfort, but also stylish enough for casual dress. Thank you, Brooks for developing these great shoes. The customers who got them as a complimentary sample are very fortunate.

After that I had to retire them much to early, the store changed ownership. I now have the Glycerin GTS 22. So far so good. Took them with me to Europe.
