I bought these with skepticism- Nike usually has good looking shoes, but often underdeliver with quality and functionality. These shoes get the job done. I purchased with the intention of wearing them in the weight room- no desire to run and/or jump in them. They provide excellent ankle support and a wide toe base so that you 're able to get your feet set before every lift. The firm sole provides little toe bend, which I appreciate. I would n't recommend them if you 're wanting to run, they 're heavier and on the clunky side, but think they 're well suited for a lifting or HIIT type shoe.

This shoe has been amazing! With my old Vapor 9. 5's, which were totally beat down after several years, I was feeling seriously abused after every match. These shoes are so much more padded and just as stable. I do n't know if I 'm crazy but I honestly feel better after playing with these shoes on. While the Vapor 9. 5's do feel lighter and faster I feel like my steps are bigger and stronger with the GP Challenge 1. End result, I think I am faster with these shoes on than with the old 9. 5's. If you 're a bigger player in the 6' 1 '' and taller range you 'll appreciate this shoe I think. I thought I was more of a size 12 in Nike but in this shoe I went with a 12. 5 after trying on some shoes at a local store. In pretty much any other shoe I wear a 12 but in this 12. 5 is definitely the correct fit.

I ’ ve got the white version and although they state to not machine wash, I just can ’ t help myself. I do a lot of running and get them pretty dirty. If yours squeak, try some baby powder between the insole and sole. I think these have a glued down insole if remembering correctly, but i think i peeled them up in mine. Put baby power between the layers and try to get it to go between the sole from the upper and the foam of the cushioning/midsole where they are sewn together. Sometimes there are vent holes as well. If you get them really wet/dry and that gets washed out it will return some eventually but you can redo it. Ive had several different styles of squeaky shoes and this works. The squeak is between the upper sole and midsole and not the outer sole and the ground like most people think. That is why they squeak on any surface. Had these shoes for about a year and a half now and used and abused them. Feels pretty much as good or better than pegasus i had, although it is hard to ever get a direct comparison. Ive worked and walked a lot in them and usually feet feel as any other shoe Ive ever had. I coach and do a lot of outdoor work.
