[ The Nike Cortez is a Nike classic that has been updated to its current version. The look is low profile and stylish and will definitely get you compliments. They will take you back to your teenage years. The Cortez are easy to put on and the laces stay secured during walks. However, the breathability was mediocre. If you use them to work out in, you ’ ll sweat a good amount. If only using them as street shoes then this is not a huge issue. During my workout, I felt like the shoes squeezed my foot and I then had to loosen the laces. I also felt like they did not have enough arch support during intense workouts. After a few uses, I saw some creases in the leather and it seems impossible to get rid of them. Size wise they run a little small and they feel a bit narrow. If you have a wide foot these would not be for you. I would recommend ordering at least ½ or maybe even 1 size up. I do recommend these shoes but only for “ street shoes ” and not for workouts.

[ I have always been a fan of the Cortez design and this new pair does not disappoint. When I initially tried them on they were snug, but they broke in relatively quickly. The fit is true to size. They are comfortable and provide great support. What I like most is the style of the shoe, starting with the shape. To me the shape is a mix between causal and athletic. This makes them easy to pair with many different outfits. The leather is soft and smooth, giving the shoes a refined, sleek look. I also like that the while the main colors are white and black, there ’s a pop of blue that adds a special touch. I am enjoying these greatly look forward to getting more in different colors.

These are great. Super light for a running shoe these days in a world of maximalist trainers. My size 13 pair is just over 7oz per shoe. Marketed as a 5k/10k shoe, but I routinely wear them for distances of 10- 15 miles without issue. I 've even done some decent gravel and trail distances in them. I weigh 185 so putting decent energy into my pair. Nice and roomy toe box, super comfy. Not as plush and springy as, say, Vaporfly Next%s, of course, but the light weight and comfort more than make up for that and it's a shoe I tend to reach for first even when doing double digit miles. I have a couple hundred miles on them and they 're still going strong. Wishing they 'd come out with some more subdued colorways similar to the protos instead of the loud oranges and purples and whatever, but I 'm sure in time they will. Best Nike shoe yet, and maybe best recent running shoe from any company.

I do n't run a lot of 5k's. Coming off a half marathon personal best I ran a personal best 10k and was going for the same in a 5k. I usually just run in a pair of my training shoes, but thought a lighter pair would help in a shorter distance. Any excuse for a new pair of running shoes. Out of the box my first thought was amazement at how light they are! My shoe rotation includes the zoomx invincible 1 and 2's, vomero 16's and the brooks adrenaline. None of which are particularly light. First time on my feet the upper felt like tissue paper with a zoomx lower. The upper did not feel flexible. Almost plasticky, but not a major issue. The cushioning felt squishy like I would bottom it out under hard running. First run, they felt fine. Lighter, more nimble than my usual shoes. Cushioning felt adequate for a short distance. Second run felt better. A little more broken in for me or the shoes. Just two 5k runs to check them out before the race. 5k Race day, they felt great. Missed my personal best slightly, but it was 90% humidity so not the shoes fault. Honestly the shoes just disappeared on my feet. I was 24th out of 254 people. So I 'm not the fastest guy out there. 8: 35 miles. Post mortem, the shoes have a total of 10 miles on them. I can see wear on the outsole. Some of it kind of looks like galling. The outsole material feels so soft I do n't expect it to last. Took a picture, but I 'm not sure if the wear will show. Post mortem, my feet are a little more sore than typical post race. Reasonable to expect given the reduced cushioning for the lighter weight. A fair trade. I will keep these shoes for 5k races and a couple of faster training runs leading up to them. Keeping the miles down. I do n't think I would run a 10k in these, but maybe. Spectacularly light and surprisingly comfortable. If I was going to change one thing I 'd make the cushioning very slightly firmer. I felt like maybe I was bottoming them out on race day.

[ Nike has managed to create their most comfortable dunk low without making it a part of their Nike Skateboarding line. We all know the added padding and comfort that Nike SB's provide and regular dunks seem to be a little stiffer. It's been awhile since I 've worn regular dunks but I 'm happy to report that Nike has improved them tremendously. The tongue has extra thick padding similar to a Nike SB, the inner lining is lined with extra soft materials and the insole is much thicker than in the past. I swear you could mistake these for a Nike SB dunk low. The outsole materials are very premium with the Goretex added and the leather is nice and buttery. You can wear these dressed up or dressed down and still look good no matter what. I 'm still worried about the toe box creasing which is what dunks are known for. I will have to report back once I really put some wear into these. Overall, these are a huge improvement from the old dunks and hope they release them in different colorways. If you 're standing on your feet for work or do a lot of walking, I highly recommend grabbing these for next pair. I can see the whole kitchen crew at a restaurant rocking these. Highly recommend!

[ Goretex really works well with this type of shoe design! I love being able to go out in the rain and being able to just put some dunk lows on while being confident on keeping me warm and dry. It has been raining a lot and these have been holding up quite well. They are a bit stiffer and rigid but hoping it will break in like how dunks usually do. I am glad Nike came out with the Goretex versions and will definitely be a staple especially with winter around the corner!

I haven ’ t worn a pair in years, but slipping these on felt right away like coming back to something familiar. So far I have about 65 miles on my pair of morphlites. They are one of the best shoes I have ever owned for the price. The upper feels very durable and substantial without being hot or stiff. The sole provides a good amount of cushion under foot. I have noticed minimal compression lines in the sole within my 65 miles on them. It appears larger in stack height than they actually are which if you are missing minimal stack shoes in the sea of high stacks these are an awesome option. The tread is not Vibram which keeps the cost lower but it is still a nice rubber. The lug pattern and shorter lug depth makes them great on roads but, in my opinion they really shine on gravel and fire roads. They have more than enough trail cred that you can take them on some beginner trail running too. I will say that when I attempted to take them on so real trail runs they definitely did not feel great but, that is certainly not what they are designed to do. I give kudos to merrell for coming out with a solid hybrid trail/pavement shoe.

I believe these spikes lose their comfort the shorter the distance becomes however, as I personally would not recommend using these in a race shorter than 1500m. Additionally, I have had two instances of blisters forming on my heel as a result of these spikes, so I would be weary of racing in these without sturdier socks/ band- aid for cushioning.

This is the 3rd version of the Roger Pros, but V1 is still the best. Fit& Comfort: Runs a bit short, with a low toe cap that presses on toenails. After an hour on hard courts, it gets uncomfortable. The sole is very stiff — even with Game- day Pro insoles, I felt ankle pain and couldn ’ t play back- to- back matches. Durability is still TBD; past ON Pros lasted me only a few months at 8 – 10 hrs/week of play. Looks: Best silhouette in tennis shoes — sleek even in large sizes( unlike the clownish look of Asics Court FF). But the “ Swiss Engineering ” label feels like marketing, not sport- specific design. Bottom line: • Pros: roomy toe box, great court feel, sharp design. • Cons: short fit, low toe cap, overly hard sole, questionable durability. If ON could make the V1 last longer, it ’ d be the perfect shoe. Right now, I only buy them for the looks, not the performance. As for this listing, there is a mistake. The photos show white version which I ordered, but the color name is pink version which I received, and decided to keep.
