[ First of all, I would like to say that this is an amazing product And the fit and feel was exactly what you ’ d expect from Nike, top of the line. I personally loved the fabric that was Used on this shoe because it was extremely easy to keep clean, The shoes really didn ’ t even crease once I broke them in, which was really amazing to me. I believe that had a lot to do with the material. The part on the actual shoe that I did not like was the back tongue, It would flip up, but it really wasn ’ t a big deal. I was extremely shocked, how slick and smooth the all black went together. This can be paired with anything, And it can go through anything. I tested it personally inside the gym, Outside on turf and track areas, Along with grass and outdoor terrain. I coached hard in these shoes, And they stood strong at every test I gave them. Once the shoes broke- in They formed perfectly to my feet and were a lot more comfortable than expected. A really cool part is that all I had to do was wipe them down with a cloth to remove any dirt from the shoe and it looked like it was brand new. I think that was my favorite part the material used to make the shoe and the versatility. They had really good grip on the bottom for a different types of surfaces not just an indoor shoe or an outdoor shoe, The style was very slick and I appreciate the minimalistic designs. [ Take a couple of steps in these and you 'll immediately feel the crazy bounce of the point- loaded Air unit distributing weight and pushing you forward. The new Air unit is n't the only nice thing. The premium feeling overlays and mesh- like upper makes the Air Max Pulse feel awesome on feet. The heel clip in the back adds some stability and I felt a bit of arch support too. The Pulse worked great during some of my lighter days in the gym, but I would n't run for more than a mile or two in these. These are best suited for rocking in the streets, at school, or if you 're on your feet all day at work. Fits true to size, pretty lightweight, and I much prefer the tongue on these than the one on the OG 270's. If you 're looking for an all- day comfy shoe with some added bounce, these are them!

[ To be fully transparent, my go- to shoes are the Nike VaporMax Plus or the Flyknits. I love how comfortable and multifunctional they are given I can literally wear them to the gym or a casual day out while the array of fun color options makes them all the more versatile. With that said, this is my first pair of Nike Vomeros. Based on looks alone, this style of shoe probably would not be my first choice given I prioritize fashion over function. However, after wearing them several times while out walking on the trail near my house which is a mix of paved road and dirt, I can say they are one of the most comfortable pair of shoes I ’ ve ever worn. The sole of the shoe has a ton of foam cushioning with really nice arch support while the entire shoe is super lightweight and stretchy. The tongue is also really thick which allows me to pull the laces tight and not feel them cutting into the top of my foot. I also love that the shoelaces are flat and remained tied! The entire shoe is made of breathable, lightweight material making them the perfect shoe for walking or running. I normally size up by 1/2 a size because I like to have a little extra room for when I wear thick Nike Dri- FIT socks. The shoe however is true to size!

So far I have about 65 miles on my pair of morphlites. They are one of the best shoes I have ever owned for the price. The upper feels very durable and substantial without being hot or stiff. The sole provides a good amount of cushion under foot. I have noticed minimal compression lines in the sole within my 65 miles on them. It appears larger in stack height than they actually are which if you are missing minimal stack shoes in the sea of high stacks these are an awesome option. The tread is not Vibram which keeps the cost lower but it is still a nice rubber. The lug pattern and shorter lug depth makes them great on roads but, in my opinion they really shine on gravel and fire roads. They have more than enough trail cred that you can take them on some beginner trail running too. I will say that when I attempted to take them on so real trail runs they definitely did not feel great but, that is certainly not what they are designed to do. I give kudos to merrell for coming out with a solid hybrid trail/pavement shoe.

I believe these spikes lose their comfort the shorter the distance becomes however, as I personally would not recommend using these in a race shorter than 1500m. Additionally, I have had two instances of blisters forming on my heel as a result of these spikes, so I would be weary of racing in these without sturdier socks/ band- aid for cushioning.
