I have run and walked in a variety of Brooks styles over the years, and I have really enjoyed the Launch 11 for walking. I work on a university hospital campus and like many coworkers, I wear running shoes quite a bit of the time. The Launch 11s feel comfortable and speedy for long treks across campus. These feel better to me than the similar Launch and Ravenna styles I 've had in the past. I plan on wearing these as a daily driver and saving my Adrenaline GTS and Glycerin GTS for actual runs. I think these will be good for cross training, too. The colorway I purchased is a departure for me, but I like the style- especially after many pairs of grey or blue Brooks.

This is my favorite shoe from Brooks so far. Ghost 15 and Glycerin 20 were very good, but the fit and comfort for me right out of the box are much better in the Launch 11. I like the cushioning and stability without losing feel for the road. Normal workouts are from 5 to 12 miles, and these shoes hold up great at those distances. Great lightweight all around road shoe!

The shoe is very light weight. It has good support and they are very comfortable. It gives that little bounce when running and they feel great. I use them on my daily runs on pavement, dirt, and the treadmill. They have great traction and the laces don ’ t get lose. They could be used as an everyday shoe as well. I did purchase half a size up from regular sneakers. Which I tend to do for any running shoe in general. And I wasn ’ t trying to break the bank on a pair of running shoes. [ First time trying Brook shoe brand and my husband said he is so surprise that this Ghost 17 is soft, conmfortable and suitable for standing long period of time( his job required a lot of walking and standing). The design looks simple yet great to mix match with any style of clothes. The fit is just right, not too long or narrow width, I would say it is true to size so you do n't have to size up or down. The fabric feels soft and thick enough to protect feet from getting wet while running or walking under the rain. I ’ m thinking I will try 11. 5 to see if it would be a tad bit more comfy or to big next time. Still feel like I can have a little bit more room. The support and the cushion are great. I have been wearing Brooks shoes for about 20 years and have tried several different models. The Addictions Walkers were the best for my job, police officer. However, it took me a while to find the right model for everyday use, after work. I have hip and lower back issues. The Walkers were not good for long period wear. The Adrenalines, Glycerins, Ghosts, Beasts and Addiction GTS are all mostly for running and wore down my hips and back. When the Ghost Max SE came out, I tried them on and the difference was amazing. I walk with my wife on a track that, with the other shoes, I could only make it once around because of the hip and back pain. I now make it around three times with very little discomfort. I bought my current pair the end of January and intend to buy another before we go on vacation in Florida the end of August. They are not only great for comfort, but also stylish enough for casual dress. Thank you, Brooks for developing these great shoes. The customers who got them as a complimentary sample are very fortunate.

I work from a standup desk and I also log several walking miles each workday traveling from one department to another, both indoors and out. These shoes leave my feet feeling great all day long, and well into the evening when the workday continues into overtime. [ Overall I absolutely love these Brooks Ghost Max. I had the previous model and was pleasantly surprised with them and wasn ’ t sure how the updated model would be. Of course Brooks never lets me down. The updated look makes me feel like I have a shoe I can wear for style and running. When I first tried them on I noticed the back of heel cup has a lot more cushion than the previous models. This isn ’ t an issue except that it pushed my foot towards the front of the shoe. I tend to have a wider foot but order my running shoes in a standard width, so this caused my toes to rub a bit more than normal. Also, since they added the fabric around the toe box, it doesn ’ t allow as much movement for my toes. However! When designing that fabric they put little triangle cutouts that happen to be right next to the tip of my big toe. This gives my toe some breathing room when taking a step. Brooks Running gave me this free product to try.

However my son bought these ones and he loves them and we have the same feet so I tried them and immediately bought myself a pair. They ’ re great. I have slightly wider than average feet, but not wide. I have high arches And I generally run mid foot. On my first run, I comfortably went significantly faster than the previous shoes I was using because I didn ’ t feel like I had to think about planting my feet in a certain way, they just feel natural.
