I have mostly been a Brooks Ghost user. After reading the description of the Launch 11, I thought I would give them a try. They are so incredibly comfortable. The Nitro infused foam is soft but still gives back response. I wear them for workouts and running/walking but these would be great as an all day wear shoe as well. Way to go Brooks!

Probably the most comfortable pair of running shoes I ’ ve owned. I ’ ve been struggling for the past few years to run without aggravating old leg injuries, but in the few weeks I ’ ve been running in these I haven ’ t had a single issue. Great cushioning that still allows me to run with good form, and they ’ re very light. My only issue has been with the shoelaces, as I ’ ve had multiple runs where they have come untied multiple times. They ’ re a bit slippery, but I think it ’s just an issue of getting them broken in. Tucking them into the sides of the shoe has solved this problem for the most part. Fantastic shoes for aging knees.

I 'm not a runner but love Brooks for work, I 'm on my feet for 10- 12 hours a day. My go to is the Revel line but these new Launch 11's are going in my daily rotation. I like the solid foundation feel the shoe has. I enjoy the the way the shoe hugs my foot with comfort. Back to what made the Ghosts the best trainers on the market! I had to return the Ghost 16s when they first launched because the upper caved in on my toes—disappointing to say the least. Thankfully, the design is back to a more structured toe box. The plush DNA cushioning, combined with everything that made the 15s great, makes this an ideal shoe for anyone needing reliable daily trainers. I can keep going in these with zero issues.

I am reviewing a 11E size for reference, most of my complaints issue are more size specific in my opinion. So my only concerns are the newer design in my size. The toe box has a slight curl by the inner big toe, I am worried that might be a wear point down road along with rear high heel. That said on to what I love about it. First it is light compared to Ghost 15 I left it was noticeable. Additionally the sole does better over the small bits of gravel I encountered on my normal street run. Additionally it has a light springback that is enjoyable endurance wise and executed without that weird collapsing sponge feel some shoes have with that type of sole. I am happy with the reflection for drivers on the Black& Gold i have, branding is tasteful, I also liked the reinforcement in toebox shifting from a closed decal like piece to a dense fabric portion. They breath good for a street shoe. Out of the box my high arch needed a bit to adjust the laces, it did not detract from the shoe. After two outings the shoe broke in pretty nicely and became more natural. I am overjoyed to use it. I use my own insert so spacing was not an issue, shoebox refined the control making toe led turns more direct not bad shifting movements versus the 15 had a slight shift comparatively. I cycled the regular insert back to my 15's for their outdoor work lifecycle no apparent changes to report so far. In light rain and pebble/washed cement grip is confident. Direct exposure to full sun the shoe still breathed well. The new support at heel helps drive incline and decline without the abrasive hightop in side to side motions at the ankle.

For me, a big improvement over the 16. Softer midsole and a nicer upper which is very breathable while giving enough support so my foot is n't moving around too much. The toebox is roomy enough for me. I like the laces as well- very soft but keep tied without double knotting. My only complaint is I wish it was a little more snug in the heel, but there's not so much movement that its bothersome. Nice to be back with a Ghost- I also run a lot in the Hyperion Max which I love. The 17 is a nice lower profile alternative.

We had previously tried Hoka ’s and some other specialty walking sneaks but all of them had their own issues which quickly could not be overcome. I stuck with Ghost 16 for my recovery runs and some of the longer runs. The difference in bounce for the Ghost Max 2 is noticeable from the first run. I have been wearing Brooks shoes for about 20 years and have tried several different models. The Addictions Walkers were the best for my job, police officer. However, it took me a while to find the right model for everyday use, after work. I have hip and lower back issues. The Walkers were not good for long period wear. The Adrenalines, Glycerins, Ghosts, Beasts and Addiction GTS are all mostly for running and wore down my hips and back. When the Ghost Max SE came out, I tried them on and the difference was amazing. I walk with my wife on a track that, with the other shoes, I could only make it once around because of the hip and back pain. I now make it around three times with very little discomfort. I bought my current pair the end of January and intend to buy another before we go on vacation in Florida the end of August. They are not only great for comfort, but also stylish enough for casual dress. Thank you, Brooks for developing these great shoes. [ The shoes are form fitted to the foot and have a nice snug feel without being too tight on my feet to limit the amount of hours they are worn in a day comfortably. I used the initial insoles that came with the shoes and were quite comfortable, however once getting custom insoles specific to my foot, I would say these could very well be the most comfortable pair of shoes I have owned. The foam base is not over- sized and provides good foot and ankle support while walking/running. The shoes are very light weight and have good breathability with the upper portion of the shoe being primarily a mesh type material that allows for good air flow and helps to keep your feet cool while wearing, even though they fit snugger than most pairs of shoes.
