I received the thermal heavyweight shirt as part of a Carhartt Crew Field Test, but I can honestly say that this shirt is necessary for everyone living in a cold climate. I find that the sizing is true, and the small works well for me. The shirt handles being laundered very well, without shrinking or pilling. It has retained it 's shape. I wash in cool water, and I use fabric softener in addition to laundry soap. The Carhartt heavyweight poly wool shirt is extremely effective in keeping me warm, and blocking the harsh Iowa wind. I tend to stay cold, so this is saying a lot. I love the shirt, because it is fitted. It works well under clothing, without bunching up. I appreciate the `` thumb holes '' on the sleeves, since this prevented the sleeves from riding up while I put on my sweatshirt. Great quality, superior warmth, and comfort.

[ I received this product from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. When my Nike Dry- Fit Shirt arrived, I was excited. My other running tops were getting old and worn. Upon first taking it out of the package I noticed how silky and soft the material was. It has held up well after a couple of washes, and time will tell if it continues to hold up. It runs true to size, and I like the cut of the shirt. It is a flattering cut. It ’s not too tight or too lose, and will work well as a base layer on cold days or as a stand alone top on warm days. It is thin, but not too thin where it appears too delicate. It has thumb holes so that part of the sleeve can cover your hands. The thumb holes allow the sleeve to go down to my knuckles, which will keep my hands a bit warmer. The only downside is that when I wear the thumb holds it covers up my running watch, but this can be fixed by not using them on my watch arm. The best surprise of this shirt was the pocket! It ’s the perfect size for holding your keys and a card or two. I ’ m looking forward to continue running in this short, especially in the spring when I can see how well it blocks the sun with its UV blocking technology.

It is also made to protect against the sun 's uv rays, which it did very well. I liked the thumb cut out on the sleeves, it gave some protection to the back of my hands so I did n't have to worry about applying sunscreen there. The color of my shirt was white, which I did n't really like. It was a bit see through. All in all, I really liked this shirt and it stood up to the Florida weather really well. [ I love wearing this long- sleeved sports top. My current sport of choice is weight lifting. It just so happens that the sleeve fabric that wraps around my palms helps me avoid some of the calluses threatening to pop up. Great design! It rests high on my torso, so even though I have a short torso, I can still see what 's going on and make sure my abs are working too. I still have to wear a sports bra underneath the top; I am too well endowed and there are no cups built in, but that 's fine. The fabric is soft and stretchy. This helps with the sweat; which is why I do n't mind that the sleeves are long. The stretchiness also helps to get it on and off easily. Sometimes tight sports shirts are a pain to take off, especially post- workout and you end up dragging the sweaty fabric over your head. I love that this is not a problem with this top. I 'll definitely be wearing this one in heavy rotation.

[ The first thing that jumped out at me when I received this shirt was that the material is very thin. Although it is a long sleeve shirt, it is not meant to keep you warm. It is made of the typical Nike DriFit material and that helps keep me cool and dry during my workouts. I am 5 ’ 7 ” and 105 pounds with an athletic build, and I wear in XS in Nike products. This shirt is not form fitting and the sleeves are big as well, so I ’ m not sure why it is called a “ slim top. ” I would have liked it more if it hugged my body and arms. However, I do like the fact that the sleeves have thumb holes, and its baggier fit makes it so that you can wear a tank top or a crop top under it. I also like that the Nike logo is located in the top middle of the shirt, rather than at the hip.

While it does run a bit small, I 've found that the snug fit actually allows me to move freely without any distractions. The long sleeves are a lifesaver during winter runs, providing much- needed warmth without sacrificing breathability. I unfortunately am a person who sweats a lot while working out and this t- shirt does the job of helping me feel dry too. I even love the cute motivational quote on the shirt! I was really impressed by this base layer. It is very thin and see through but very effective at keeping you warm. I wore this multiple days mid- winter as as my single layer under my shell snow pants. Right out of the box it wasn ’ t as soft to the touch as I anticipated but after wearing it a few times that concern went away and I never thought of it again. I never was itchy like you sometimes are with other wool products. The real highlight of this baselayer is the hood/built in face mask. I kept grabbing this baselayer day after day because of that feature. I love that you can wear the hood up or that you can without it and it ’s not super bulky. The face mask was awesome because I ’ d pull it up on the chairlift and then leave it down while riding. For someone who doesn ’ t own a face mask and rarely wears one, it was really nice to have that feature built in. The face mask was the perfect fit! The wool is super warm as a base layer but also breathe able when wearing it on its own when moving in the sun. I LOVE the Calia Women ’s Cold Dash 1/4 Zip. I got the black in the medium size. I normally wear a small but the description said it is fitted, which it is, and I didn ’ t want a tight fit. This fits me exactly the way I want it too. It is nicely tailored but not skin tight. I am 5 ’ 6 ” and about 128 pounds. Previously, my favorite athletic 1/4 zip jacket was a black one with a back pocket that holds my phone. I had looked everywhere, unsuccessfully, for another until now. This jacket has a very nicely placed pocket in the back that holds my phone very comfortably during my daily morning 2 to 3 mile walks. The jacket also has reflecting lines on the back that serve their purpose when needed but still look fashionable at all times. I love the new Quantum hoodie! It was time to replace my vintage Quantum from the first year Icebreaker made them, and I wanted to buy last year 's model. However, there were so many complaints about the zipper that I decided to pass. I saw that the Quantum IV had a new zipper, so I bought `` tang '' colored one in a medium. I 'm 5' 6 '', 137, and the medium is the perfect fit! It hugs my curves but is not tight, it is a nice slightly longer length, and the lack of elastic at the bottom hem allows it to rest perfectly on my lower hips without riding up every time I bend over. The zipper is easy to use and it 's lightweight, so when you unzip the jacket a quarter of the way down, the collar sits perfectly( sometimes a heavy zipper will weigh down one side of a collar). Lastly, the weight of the jacket is the perfect indoor weight for winter, and a nice outdoor weight for spring, fall, and summer evenings. I 'm so glad I bought this jacket- the color is beautiful! As expensive as it is, I actually ordered the black as well! A fantastic hoodie!!
