I 've already purchased this shoe 1 time and am purchasing a second pair a week later. The style caught my eye first off. I had seriously injured my leg 2 months ago and my physical therapist suggested I buy Asics, which I did. I 've ALWAYS been a Nike fan though but she said the soles were n't stiff enough. `` One '' of the multiple injuries was a badly broken toe which ca n't be fixed bc its too late. It will take a year to heal, I 'm told. In the meantime, every shoe I 've worn, causes pain... until these!!! I 'm SO happy. They literally support EVERYTHING- from the ankle to the arches( which I do n't really need) to the toes. These are the best shoes I 've had in ages! I love these shoes. They are so comfortable. I did have to return the shoes and size up a half size. I have always wore an 8 1/2 since high school, college etc, so I got my normal size. These shoes are kinda narrow, and I have a wide foot, so I need a little extra room. This shoe has completely revived my running and is the best shoe I have ever worn. I 've been a distance runner since 1984 and wore Pegs for much of my life. Switched to Zoom Fly when the first edition came out. The 6 is an absolute game changer. First run out of the box ran about: 30/mile faster than my usual slog without trying to do so. My HR is commensurately higher, but my legs and body feel much easier. Just a tremendous shoe for forefoot or midfoot strikers- would not recommend for heel strikers. I am older and much slower than I used to be but I am enjoying runs more than I have in years.

This shoes in white color are amazing. There is a little criticism about heel slip but runners knot solves that issue and heel slip doesn ’ t happen while walking so it ’s fine. The only real criticism I have about this shoe is its upper mesh is not good enough for the original price tag. It should be soft and shoe should be bendable in the front to be called a real runner shoe. Overall this is a most comfortable shoe I have ever tried. I can wear them all day and still not be tired so this is definitely a good all day walking or working shoes.

This is my first pair of Nike 's. Initially, I was a little back and forth on the upper as it felt loose in some areas and tight in others. There was some heel slippage on the first run as well that a runners knot cured. After 4 runs, twenty miles, and going back to normal tying, these shoes have broken in nicely and fit great with no slipping. They are incredibly comfortable and stable and are at home on the treadmill and the road. These are NOT go fast shoes by any means and nail the recovery or easy run role for me that still go the distance. They look great in the white/blue/orange colorway. Very happy with them!

First of all I don ’ t understand why there is a recommendation for one size up for wide feet since I have wide feet and this fit perfectly maybe for those with extreme wide feet it ’s recommended to go half size up. Second this shoes are extremely comfortable and good looking as well. The upper mesh is breathable and water resistant as far as I heart but I am not going to that that:) all in all I don ’ t see any negative in this shoe. Let ’s run them for maybe 2 years and see if my option changes. This shoes ain ’ t cheap so they better hold up for few years at least.

Most importantly — the reactx felt soft and comfortable underfoot with a good energy return without compromising stability. The shoe is lightweight. It worked well for the mildly technical trail runs as well as gravel and road surfaces I wore it on. I would, however, be hesitant to wear it for highly technical trails or wet/slushy conditions. This was my first experience with the Pegasus trail and overall it was very positive. I feel confident and natural in the shoes and will be putting more miles in them.

I love the wide toe box of Altras but needed a bit more cushioning in the front. These shoes have it! Super cushioned at the heel/ankle as well so it makes it tight but I like it. The curvature makes an easy flow for walking or running.

These are( one of?) the only Altra shoes that aren ’ t zero drop so I figured me and my sensory- sensitive feet would give them a go. The Altra toe box is unbeatable. These are the MOST bouncy comfortable shoes I have ever worn! I work in the medical field and am on my feet a lot but also have a bad hip from an injury that bothers me usually. There have been multiple patients and other ppl working in the hospital that have asked me which ones they were!
