We recently embarked on challenging hikes through Lassen National Park and Mount Tam with this exceptional backpack, and it exceeded our expectations in every way. The backpack strikes a perfect balance between ample storage space for all the necessary essentials and a lightweight, durable design that does n't weigh you down during long treks. The color scheme is attractive, although more color options would have been a welcome addition. The waist belt and double sternum straps provided a snug and secure fit, ensuring the pack stayed stable even during demanding trails. I have two other Osprey packs and love the women- specific features. I bought this Sirrus for casual hiking and walking to town for groceries and other supplies. I got the right fit after watching a Youtube that showed that the hipbelt pad in front should be centered over the pelvic bone- not above it as I had incorrectly done. The torso adjustment `` ladder '' is a nice feature. I am 5' 7 '' and measured my torso at 15. 6 '', and found the second shortest adjustment to work the best at keeping the shoulder straps from riding up. This is really a comfortable and well fitting pack for me.
