Such a good bag, 100 oz of water is 4x my large yeti and the bag still has so much room I fit in an additional shoulder bag, snacks, some accessories and some green, and still had the half of the largest pouch not taken up by the water pouch. Bag is comfortable and stylish. Reservoir for water is incredibly well thought out and comes apart easily and in enough places that making sure the pack is dry after use is a breeze. Nice quality straps, small footprint and breathable materials means your back isn ’ t burning up. I ’ d say if you ’ re looking for a pack that will last you a long time and hold up as well as serve you well for carrying most if not all of the things you ’ ll need for 1/2 day hikes, you will be incredibly happy with this bag!

I purchased this last spring for my motorcycle trip from Spring Branch, TX up to the Arctic Circle in Alaska and back. It performed flawlessly for the whole 31 days and 11, 525 miles on the back of my MoskoMoto panniers. The little dispensing valve was great, as I could refill small water bottles, brush teeth, splash face and wash hands, wash/rinse dishes, mix cocktails, etc., all right from the bag holder on the back of my bike. I am very happy with the bag and always pleased with MSR products and their Customer Service Dept.

Bought and used on multiday backpack. Overall worked perfectly for what we needed. Con: the elastic tie on one end is not load bearing. Pro: a full bag survived a 6 foot fall onto sharp rocks; no damage at all. The packaging could use directions or link or something with initial cleaning directions. I found them online and no plastic or strange taste at all.

[ This was a gift for my nephew. I ’ ve owned my Raptor 14 pack for 5 years of heavy use. Simply put, it ’s my top goto pack. The bite valve wears out over time, but is easily remedied with a Osprey replacement valve. I love this pack because it ’s big enough to haul ample of water for long rides and carry warm clothing for when the sun drops and you have a long( and cold) descent back home.
5
Eric L.
[ I recently tried the raptor 14 update. This pack has some very cool new features that set it apart from the older edition. The hydration bag connection to the pack itself has a slip and lock feature that makes the hanger secure, and the tube and bite valve are ported through a zipper sleeve to the user. A continuous stretch pocket runs along the exterior of the pack that allows for small and large gear to be tightened down with a cinch down pull strap. A roll out tool bag that can also be handy for first aid. This bag is definitely the brain child of an active user.

[ Bought this to replace a leaky bladder in my running pack made by another company. It does not leak! The zipper feature is nice; it clicks once it's fully closed. CrashTestDummy
Great for the price. I 'm a hydration pack fanatic because I use them several times a week. This one is quite good. The good: Really well made and durable materials. It is a really versatile hydration pack that can be used for hiking, cycling, etc. It has some internal pockets in the main compartment that really distributes your stuff and the weight well and keeps the pack well balanced. The back pads are nice and plush. The straps are stout. The external stuff pockets on the side/front are very useful. I like how the waist straps tuck away if you are not using them. Trekking pole straps/compression straps are nice. The pack is really streamlined, fits snug against the body, and is very stable for activity. The stuff that can be improved: The hydration bladder and bite valve are not the best, but they do function decent and for the price it is not a big deal. It would be nice to have some sort of velcro on the large external stuff pocket just to secure your stuff a little.

[ This pack made all the difference! Beyond happy with my pro deal sponsorship. I have been using a cheap and poor fitted pack for years and I never realized how big of a difference this would make for my work.
5
Completed the Everest Base Camp Trek a few weeks ago. Out of 8 people in our group there were 5 of us wearing Osprey packs. I had the Scarab 30 and loved it. We hiked in sun and rain, hot and cold, through wood and over rock fields. This pack was on my back every day every step of the way. The bladder was full with an extra bottle of water on the side at the waist belt and the bag was full with essentials for weather swap outs and everything i needed to get from A to B and survive without my big duffel. It never chafed my shoulders or waist, felt great on my back and did n't sweat me up by allowing air to flow around it. It was exactly the right choice. The design of the bladder makes it very easy to fill and shove back in its home. the only thing i would change or add would be a cover over the drinking port. We were dropping our packs in a lot of places, on trails in Tea houses, coffee houses and different temples, everywhere and the drinking port always ended up on the ground. Would of been nice to have some sort of cover.

Beats heck out of the jury rigged soft- bottle I ’ d been using. Ensures I stay better hydrated. Light as heck. Tip: Just ensure the hose, where it exits the cap, is routed in the plane of the reservoir and not at an angle.

[ I have a few different styles of platypus and this one is now in my mountain biking bag. I like the clip that keeps it on my pack. It has a sturdy hanger.

I have had my Platypus Hoser for more than 15 years now and it still works great. It's the two liter version, very similar to this one. No complaints ever, easy to clean, light weight, and very durable. My version even has `` patent pending '' still on it. And a logo with a Platypus illustration, which I love! Thanks@ Platypus for all these years of joyful and well- hydrated hiking and biking thanks to the Hoser:)

[ This is an outstanding hydration option for an Osprey pack. I have a number of packs in different sizes with various bladder sizes. I can mix and match the packs and bladders as needed for the outing. I consider them a good value and will continue to stick Osprey gear.

First one of these I have used. Couple of days to clear the plastic taste, then you are in good shape. Used this on a 5 day hike and it worked a treat.

This backpack is great! I purchased it for a trip to Peru, so it is a good size for a bigger daypack. It is super comfortable, and really easy to adjust. The back has mesh, so it is super breathable, which continues to contribute to how comfortable it is. Great for anyone just looking for a simple daypack or a technical durable bag for multi day adventures. Definitely a good backpack choice, I highly recommend!

When I decided to invest in a good quality hiking backpack, I started researching different brands to make sure I find the perfect bag for me and my husband. I ca n't begin to tell you how amazing the Juno and Citro bags are!!!!!! First, I absolutely love the universal measurements for men and women, you dont need to worry about this at all! the fit was perfect for both me and my husband. the straps are adjustable at the hip, shoulder and back making it perfect for everyone. I decided to go with the 30L because I needed a bag I can use for any sort of hiking no matter the length or difficulty of the hike The size was perfect, I can put all my essentials and still have room if I ever decided on taking extra things, like a towel, water shoes or even extra clothes the weight difference between the 30L and smaller size was not that significant to me. They really thought about every detail on this bag!!! you have a place to set your sunglasses, and your poles which was amazing!!! i didnt feel the weigh of the poles on me at all the bag comes with a water bladder which was a plus!! the bladder was amazing, we had no issues with it at all, no leaking and easy to clean. We hiked at Mt Rainier and it held great, there were some rainy days and the bag held it self well, it's not water proof( they dont claim it is) so I do recommend getting a raincover but the insides werent soaking with water. I love this bag so much and I do recommend it to anyone! amazing bag!

I have this same bag but last years edition. I just used it for several hikes from 5 to 10 miles long. This bag rocks! I was previously a Camelback guy until I wore my old one out. Tried Gregory, and its my new favorite hydration pack! I love the fit, the function, the reservoir, the adjustments, and the storage. My only complaint is the belt zippered pockets are too small and need to be a little big.

[ First bladder had a defect but the item was replaced quickly and with minimal effort. Wide mouth bladder makes for easy open, fill, and expulsion of air. Fastening inside a pack is easy and secure. Segmented tubing is a nice touch. Bite valve works well but seems a little overly complicated- the lock is not obvious but that is a minor detail. Excellent product and I will be phasing out bladders from `` the competition ''.

[ A great add to my Osprey pack. Fits as it was designed. The top fold and slide lock work smoothly. Short 4 miler to test this Fathers Day went well. Very happy so far! Looking forward to the test this fall in RMNP, UT Big Five and GC.

[ I purchased this bladder for a friend who was heading to Africa to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro. A similar bladder came with her Osprey pack but she needed another bladder so we could add the tube insulation so her water would not freeze in the tube portion that extended from the pack itself. She ended up using this new bladder with the tube insulation to keep her water warm on the upper portions of the mountain and cool at the lower altitudes. Everything worked perfectly and no leak even with daily refilling and rough treatment. A great reservoir for any hiking trip.

This is my go to hydration bladder. It has so many perks, but the very best thing about it is the ability to hold the handle and really control filling it. It has a little( hanging it up to dry) hook that folds in and out. It ’s easy to clean, even having the couple supports internally. I can get a brush inside. The bite valve works perfect, does not leak and has a lock on it. The hook to latch it in upright my Gregory kalmia 60 makes it compatable and easy to remove or put in my smaller deva pack. It ’s never failed me, no leaks. I ’ m even a little rough with the thing. Love love love Gregory products!

I got this reservoir to use for a music festival and it worked perfectly. I love the detach system so you can leave the tube where it is when you take it out to fill it up. I will also use it for any long hikes I go on

I ’ ve used this on a back country hiking trip. Love the handle, a lot easier to use versus some other brands. Thank you Gregory for keeping it simple:)

First use for me of the Gregory hydration pack was a 4- day backpacking trip in the Grand Canyon. Big fan of this hydration pack. Quick disconnect made it easy to refill without having to remove items out of my pack( was using an Osprey Atmos 65 pack). Handle on the front of the hydration pack and the 3- D shape gives the pack excellent rigidity and makes it even easier to handle. Only “ issue ” I had was using the Gregory hydration pack with an Osprey backpack. Hanging the hydration pack from the hydration hook within the Osprey back pack caused the water tube from the hydration pack to fold slightly right before it exits the backpack. This didn ’ t restrict the flow of water but I decided not to use hydration hook in the Osprey backpack 3 out of the 4- days of my trip and didn ’ t have any problems with the Gregory hydration pack freely floating in the backpacks designated hydration sleeve. All that said, I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a hydration pack.

This is far and away my favorite bladder. I bought a Gregory Nano 18 H20 just because of the bladder. It ’s best feature are:- detachable tube so you can refill the reservoir without having to reroute the tube- wide mouth- carrying handle- flat back It ’s great for any use. Whichever pack I bring hiking or backpacking, I always use this bladder. Note: I bought a 3rd party magnetic clasp for when I use it with other packs.

Trying to get back to consistent running and going longer distances. I previously had another brand ’s vest that I only used collapsible water bottles in the front pockets and never used a bladder. Always had comfort issues with it though and overall felt like I could never it to fit comfortably. For this vest though, I have run three 10 mile+ runs and find this one very comfortable. I was easily able to adjust this to fit correctly. I find the bladder easy to use and has been good to use with Tailwind Nutrition as my fuel of choice. I like the available storage as well and enjoy having a space for my phone. There is also so much more storage that I could utilize and have barely scratched the surface of. I did carry sunglasses with me on a run and was nice to have them with me even though I didn ’ t ultimately use them. Definitely happy with this purchase and look forward to more long runs with it.

[ We just got hit pretty much back- to- back by Helene and Milton, and this made a great go- bag to evacuate from the hurricanes! It ’s very well built and easy to carry, there ’s plenty of room for evacuation essentials, and all of my stuff stayed dry! All sorts of camping and survival supplies are very popular here in hurricane country — even though I don ’ t know of a single person who actually voluntarily goes camping around here! The only thing I wish I could change about the bag is the color! I really wanted a hot pink, or at least a bright neon orange or yellow! Still, the red and yellow is considerably more visible than the basic black. I received the correct item, in good condition, in a decent amount of time. The packaging was frankly ridiculous, though! It ’s very flat and took up minimal room, even without rolling it up – so there was no reason to send it in a massive cardboard box the size of a golf bag, for goodness sakes!

[ I ’ ve taken it on one back country trip and a few other over nighters, and have found the pack to be great. I like the white interior for finding gear and the quality of the bag seems durable overall. The straps themselves aren ’ t the most comfortable when your bag gets heavier but for my portages I ’ m never wearing the pack for much more than an hour between paddles. I would personally prefer a bit of extra bulk and weight if that was the compromise to have a slightly more padded shoulder.

[ As an avid canoeist I ’ m always looking for tough but lightweight gear for canoe tripping. Over the last few years my gear closet has transitioned almost entirely to Sea to Summit gear. Telos tent, Spark 3 sleeping bag, collapsible pots, big river dry backpack, stuff sacks and compression bags and I have been completely satisfied with each and every item. Great job Sea to Summit!
