I am size 9. 5 and first tried the size 9. It was too short and my toes were falling out of the shoe. The width was perfect though. I then tried the 10 instead. They are a good length, maybe a little bit too wide, so not perfect but better than the size 9. They are very comfortable. I wore Reef Gingers for years and since the style has changed for the worse, I was on what seemed to be an endless search for the perfect black flip flop. These Honu flip flops are sleek and comfortable and look stylish to boot. The only downside is not being able to throw them in the washing machine like I did with the Reefs, but the leather on these is so elegant and the overall look so classy that I do n't mind. Finicky Foot
[ Have n't worn outside the house yet, but very comfortable so far. I have a hard time finding shoes& sandals that do n't rub me the wrong way in some aspect, but these seem perfect. I was pleasantly surprised, as I expected the side strap to be annoying& it's not. There's nothing pokey or scratchy about them. I have a regular width foot& a collapsing gait,& these seem to have good support for that. I also tried the trail hiker& konos sandals, but those both had straps that I could feel underfoot where they attached.
