Bought 2 of these personalized helmets a month ago. I have no problems with the helmet itself. I do wonder how the back of the helmet size adjuster will hold up over time. The boys LOVE their helmets and the fact that they got to personalize them. I was a bit intimidated by having to put the vinyl decals onto the helmets. One of those, do n't mess this up Dad moments. I finally got the decals to stay on without resorting to crazy glue. Here are my tips: 1. The glue on the decals is almost like rubber cement. When you peel it up off the paper backing, the glue on the very edges of the decal tend to stay on the paper backing. Make sure to get all the glue on the decals. You will need it. 2. Try to avoid getting your fingers onto the back of the decals and touching the glue. I believe the oils on your skin weaken the binding strength. 3. Position correctly the first time and hope that you do n't have to reposition the decals.( The binding power of the glue lessons.) 4. THE KEY THING is take a hair dryer to the decals AFTER they are on the helmet. Super heat everything. The heat softens the vinyl decals and makes it easier to reshape them to the curvature of the helmet. Press the stickers gently down again. Once done with this step, leave the helmet alone for a while and let the glue set. It's been a month now and the boys have had a few lacrosse practices. The decals look fine. They are not pulling off, yet. I suspect after a season of checking and sticks to the noggin that the decals wo n't be quite as pretty.;)

[ I haven ’ t had this long, so I can ’ t speak to the long- term durability yet. Although, it seems more durable that my last Mammut MIPS helmet because there ’s more plastic covering the foam. I loved the looks of the Mammut helmet, but for the price it was not durable enough( it broke shoving into my pack). This helmet is equally if not more attractive. I didn ’ t know if I ’ d like the chin strap magnet clip on the Petzl helmet, but I like it fine so far.

We have been using Evoshield Racerback Children/Womens heart guards for around 9 years now. Due to growing bodies, we always had to replace the shield every 2- 4 months. My younger sister( 16) had to stop wearing the racerback guard because of it not sitting on her chest correctly. We decided to bite the bullet and try this guard around 3 months ago due to her playing premier softball. The guard actually stays up on her chest and does n't rub on her arm as she pitches. Last week while pitching, she took a straight line drive to the chest. If it was n't for the heart guard, we probably would still be in the hospital. I 100% recommend this for any player that plays any caliber of ball. Yes it is pricier than the other guards that are offered, but it allowed her to walk off the field without a bruise. I just wish there was a option that covered the complete chest rather than just the left side of the body. I am very grateful that we found this product and would gladly recommend this to any player.

My son plays 10u travel. The balls come alot faster then rec ball. This chest protector is worth its weight in gold. It gives him more confidence out in the field. He has already taken 2 shots to the chest that I thought would put him out of the game. But instead he shook it off. This Victus face cage is very durable! I thought it was going to be cheaply made but was the total opposite. I wanted to use it as a project to create a helmet from a souvenir I got from a sox game. It is too heavy for the project but for a real helmet it is extremely durable. Its thick and heavy though so I wouldn ’ t use it for kids. When it says senior it means Senior.
