This shoe has completely revived my running and is the best shoe I have ever worn. I 've been a distance runner since 1984 and wore Pegs for much of my life. Switched to Zoom Fly when the first edition came out. The 6 is an absolute game changer. First run out of the box ran about: 30/mile faster than my usual slog without trying to do so. My HR is commensurately higher, but my legs and body feel much easier. Just a tremendous shoe for forefoot or midfoot strikers- would not recommend for heel strikers. I am older and much slower than I used to be but I am enjoying runs more than I have in years.

These just arrived, so only have had them for a few days now and they are noticeably lighter than the Zoom Fly 5. I have had 4 pairs of Zoom Fly 5's and they have been great running shoes. The Zoom Fly 6 feels more stable in stride and when walking, I really like that Nike has reduced the size of the heel from the protruding heel on the Zoom Fly 5, that to me is why the new 6 feels more stable. The appearance of the shoe looks great. The bottom has also been updated, I think the traction is slightly better than the 5 and so far I have not encountered the `` suction '' noise the 5's had on smooth floors. So far, so good, looking forward to seeing how many miles these can take!

I am a men's size 8, but I got a size 9 for the extra space and I chose correctly. Also, the color is great if you want to stand out while running in these shoes. I also pronate slightly when I run, abut the wide stable base on this shoe helped me there as well. They also breathe well, so your feet do n't get way too hot. [ I am in love with this hiking shoe. I have been looking for something that is great for summer, but will be a heavy hitter in the fall and spring and I think I found it. This shoe is very high quality, there are lots of extra details added to make it more rugged and dependable in the outdoors. I found them to be very lightweight, extremely comfortable, and I could hike in them all day with no issues. There was no break- in period, they were good to go from the first time I laced them up. There is a nice extra bit on the ankle which provides some stability, while being soft and not too rigid. It also keeps out debris. The traction is beefy and strong, I had no issues when heading up or down the mountain. I love the chunky look of the shoe, it is very modern and I am very pleased with the design. My feet locked in and I felt very confident and stable while hiking. They fit rue to size and have nice room in the toe box, did not feel cramped at all. I ca n't wait to use these all summer long, I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a hiking sneaker.

[ Love that the Nike ACG is getting so much love and is receiving full attention from Nike. The Zegama trail is just an amazing shoe and should 've been an ACG product from the start, I 'm just glad this new version is. I loved the Zegama I and the Zegama trails are a beautiful rendition. Comfort wise, the shoe is amazing. Starting with the upper, the shoe is breathable and the added ankle cuff just hugs perfectly and feels very secure. With socks, I did not notice any hot spots or blisters happening but I can see that occurring if you 're wearing no show( which I assume most trail runners/ hikers will not) with this shoe. The toe box feels wider but not to the point of needing to size down. I noticed that the extra width just makes the shoe more comfortable over uneven terrain. It allows your foot to really spread and remain planted. The midsole feels squishy but is not unstable. If you 've worn any of the recent running shoes by Nike that utilizes Zoom X technology then you know that pillow/ comfort feeling, its surprising at first to have such a springy/pillowy shoe but you get used to it quick. That experience is no different with this trail runner. What really impressed me with the Zegama is the vibram outsole. It just gives you so much traction, it's almost a nuisance to wear on regular concrete. It is n't raining in my city now but I 'm excited to try these out then. Overall, this is a great shoe. Buy with confidence and use them on the trails! 10/10.

The shoe is super light weight and the fabric is breathable and doesn ’ t stretch. There is good grip on the forefoot. However, the shoe doesn ’ t offer much tread on the rear of the sole, so this shoe is defiantly better for forefoot runners or for running fast and not a causal pace run where your more likely to land on the heel. It took a few runs to get use to this design but overall they feel light and fast. This shoe would be perfect for track races or shorter races.

Excellent shoes! I used to exclusively buy Brooks and tried these on a whim last year because I liked the assortment of colors offered. The Vomeros, in my opinion, have more cushion and bounce than the Brooks Glycerin, which are priced$ 20 higher. I have now switched exclusively to Vomeros and currently have four pairs! I wear my all black pair to work everyday as a chef and my feet could n't be happier!( I 'm on my third pair of all black Vomeros for work) I have a bunion on my left foot and these help to alleviate the pain associated with it.

Wow. Love these shoes. Someone said the tow box is narrow. It ’s wider than the Air max 270 and air max 2013 if that helps. Good gracious are these comfy. All the way though the entire bottom. These are the shoes to get for starting the 2023 cross country season, was expecting to dislike them compared to the victory track spikes, but they ’ re awesome! [ The Nike ACG Zegama were an exciting pair of sneakers to test. I am longtime fan of the ACG collection, mainly for it's forward and functional design. These trail sneakers embody both of those fully. I wore these on the trail routes near my home and they full adapted to the uneven and sometimes slippery terrain. I 've worn them on dry runs and just after rainfall, and the footprint/sole of this sneaker felt like it grasped the earth well in both circumstances. The elastic ankle detail hugged my foot just enough for added stabilization. I could really feel the vibram sole and full cushioning which I prefer when trail running. I appreciated the non slip grip the laces had on the upper, they felt secure the duration of each run. But my main takeaway was the width of the sole at the ball of the foot. It really felt different compared to other sneakers I run on trail with. This felt like when my foot stuck the ground, it was fully connecting, giving me more confidence and security with each step. The shoe was comfortable and responsive all around.

Even though it ’s not labeled as a wide shoe, it still worked well for my feet and provided solid arch support. My only recommendation would be to wear high socks and avoid wearing them barefoot. I made the mistake of doing a 2- mile uphill run without socks and ended up with blisters, so good socks definitely make a difference.

[ I love these! Up until now, my “ hiking ” shoes/boots have been Nike Pegasus trail shoes. The lugs on these shoes are much more geared toward rugged terrain, so it ’s a good change for me to make. I also really like the built- in sock/high top. It ’s very comfortable, easy to put on, and works well with high or low cut socks. I have high volume feet( high insteps and arches). The arch supports for these shoes are fine, but the top stitching where the lace eyelets are put uncomfortable pressure on the tops of my feet. I may have to find a different lacing style so that I don ’ t develop blisters. These will need a bit of breaking in before any long runs or hikes. The shoes fit true to size, BUT only if you wear “ normal ” socks. If you plan on a heavy workout or hike where your feet swell, OR if you plan on wearing thicker hiking socks, such as wool socks, it may be worth it to size up. Essentially, the shoes fit true to size as is, for general athletic wear, but to be used as more intense hiking footwear, make sure you have enough wiggle room to account for sock thickness and normal foot swelling. Make sure to break them in before any serious hikes, runs, or walks!

[ I absolutely love the Nike ACG Zegama Hike shoes. The colors almost feel a little retro. The thicker shoelaces make it feel secure and look robust. The traction on the sole is unmatched. The collar is very comfortable and effective but doesn ’ t feel too restricting or uncomfortable. For sizing I am usually anywhere between 10. 5- 11. The 10. 5 in these was perfect and not too small. I would think someone usually between 10- 10. 5 could comfortably fit a 10. The toe box is spacious without being too wide or narrow.

The red metal pieces that attach to the shoe laces almost look like those metallic keyring clips that you can put on a lanyard or car keys, which I thought was a cool concept! Good ankle support since they ’ re more of a high top. If I was gon na change anything, it would be to remove the wording on the side, or at least make it more subtle. [ I got these in a size 7 in women ’s for 1 of 2 people that I knew could give me an honest opinion on them. It happened to be my mother who I gifted them to that works in a plant on her feet 8- 10 hours a day. As soon as she opened the box she absolutely loved the colorway she got as it can match multiple things as well as the style/look of the shoe. Once she got the shoe on foot she walked around the house and said she felt more bounce and spring in her step wearing them. Beautifully crafted and well thought out shoe. It's not as ridiculously stacked( or as noisy) as the premium where you kind of wobble along. This one still has ample cushion, but a tighter bounce and better control. It's the right middle ground between reasonable and crazy where you are in the fun zone. I have the black and red one, and boy is it a wearable and stylish. It's better than the premium, and it's cheaper than the premium. And it has a pull tab. Why does not every shoe have one? For me it's such a great improvement. A small detail that makes a big difference- it lets you put on a shoe easier, and what's wrong with that!

Since it is a waterproof shoe, you can expect it to be a little bit tighter obviously to help keep water out during rainy training days. I just ran a 50km race with 5, 000 feet of elevation gain and loss wearing these shoes. I was nervous that the toe box height would be too short, but that didn ’ t end up being an issue at all. I didn ’ t get a single blister after getting them from other trail shoes. The front toe shield definitely saved my big toe more than once after slamming into some rocks. That's the only thing I would change from this pair, but apart from that this shoe delivers in comfort, feel, and looks!

They still feel comfortable after one mile which I love and something I look for in a shoe! I have extremely wide thick feet( 4E) and these fit with thin( I only own thin due to wide feet) socks! The width of them is deceiving! They look narrow but they are nice and wide and I would encourage anyone at the very least to try them on. The length of the laces were a good length with enough length to double knot. I found they hit a good height on my achilles and don ’ t rub. They aren ’ t the coolest design, but made for comfort.

The Nike Pegasus Plus 2 delivers what I hoped for and expected: a comfortable daily trainer with a bit more propulsion. It feels like a hybrid of the traditional Pegasus and the Tempo Next%, keeping the familiar Pegasus ride while adding extra energy return from the forefoot Zoom Air. That air pod makes the shoe stiffer than a standard Pegasus but does not have the feel of a plated midsole. The substantial upper and robust cushioning also make it quite different from earlier Pegasus Plus/Turbo models which mated minimal uppers to a lower stack heights: 27mm heel, 17mm forefoot in Turbo, 35mm heel, 25mm forefoot in Plus 1, versus the 39mm heel and 29mm forefoot in the Pegasus Plus 2. I will use it for basic distance miles and some tempo efforts but will definitely reach for something else for interval work. My only complaint is the noticeable squeak from the forefoot air pods, even if it is quieter than the Alphafly or Tempo Next%, which use similar pods.

At the start of August, I had a sore knee, but since my son wanted to participate in a race, I used KT Tape to support my knee and completed the half marathon of this race. Despite the knee discomfort, I noticed that the shoes seemed to enhance my speed. Remarkably, I achieved a 6: 25/mi pace for a half marathon for the first time in 2024, using the Nike AF3 during the Catherine Creek Classic on August 3, 2024( you can view more details on my Strava page- athlete# 59684519). The AF3s demonstrated exceptional performance and comfort throughout the race, even for my wider feet. The color options are impressive, especially the green and purple variants. Although the price is quite high and I 've noticed the outsole wears out faster than other models I ’ ve used, I believe the performance justifies the cost. I would n't necessarily use the AF3 shoes as my daily running shoes but would be my go- to kicks for races.

The shoes are exactly what a person needs to perform their upcoming marathon. The Nike Alphafly 3 ’s are extremely responsive and have the best energy return out of every stride compared to the competition. I would recommend to people making this investment to go a half size up. I am a true size 10 in Nike shoes( I generally run in the Nike Pegasus Line for reference), but the Alphafly ’s in the Pink/Purple color- way at least do run smaller compared to most Nike models. I have tried on a pair of size 10. 5 Alphafly and they fit more like a true to size 10 Nike running shoe. Overall, these are awesome shoes and are the best marathon shoes on market!
