The best way to describe the fabric is to compare it to the Athleta brand I also wear. The Athleta brand has a buttery soft feel, a bit slick, thinner feeling fabric, and I do love them. By comparison, the Calia fabric for this legging has a slightly course, thicker feel, making it a bit warmer with a more substantial feel, which I also love. And when I say “ course ”, I should clarify that it is still a very soft fabric and you won ’ t be disappointed. Both are great in their own way, and I wear either depending on what I ’ m doing.

They were also compressive enough to hold everything in and smooth all the bumps/lumps- but not at all so tight they were uncomfortable. The material is thicker than some of the other leggings I have worn/tried, very soft, and doesn ’ t attract tons of lint or pet hair( huge plus for me)! The cutout on the front of the pants are a fun detail that added some flare to basic black flare leggings! The price point is great and the fit is great! My only complaint would be that after a few wears I had some stitching that was loose. But that could have been an accidental snag possibly, since it was solely in one small area. [ The Nike Universa Women's Medium- Support High- Waisted Leggings blew my mind the moment I slid them on. They were buttery soft and fit like a glove. Sometimes leggings can be a little suffocating with how tight they are, and these were different. They are a high- waisted legging that shapes your waist nicely without squeezing you too tight. I find myself more self- conscious when I 'm taking yoga or doing pilates because my leggings are making my stomach look unflattering or rolling over. I was honestly surprised how great they fit. I think I was most surprised by the length. Typically, when I read something is full length, I am a little skeptical because they do n't always fulfill that full- length promise. Fortunately for me, these did not disappoint. Being 5 ’ 9 ”, I have pretty long legs, and typically, leggings run short on me, but I love that this hit my ankle exactly where I would like it to. Not to mention, the super conveniently placed side pocket where I can fit anything from my ID, keys, or my phone comfortably. There ’s even a pocket on the back waistband that I didn ’ t even notice because it ’s so discreetly designed. Besides always having issues with the length of leggings, another important factor I check for in a good pair of leggings is if they 're squat- proof. I work out at least 4 times a week, and I have tested these leggings out thoroughly, and to my surprise, I can say they are not see- through one bit. I love knowing that I can wear these to yoga and fold in all kinds of positions without feeling worried about my leggings being see- through. And an added bonus, they are very good at staying in place and do not fold over at the top. During my pilates classes, they stayed up and never folded and I was able to focus in class without my attention being drawn to having to fix or constantly pull up my leggings. These leggings are truly a dream. Even down to the design. It is classic and modern but extremely functional. I even love the monochromatic Nike check logo on the backside of the calf. It ’s so discreet, but when you find it, it ’s such a cool surprise. Even the decision to have the bottom edges of the legs be seamless is so appreciated. I don ’ t find when I take these leggings off that it leaves dents in my skin or isn ’ t lightly cutting off circulation in areas. It truly feels like I ’ m covering my legs with a cloud. You can tell these leggings were designed with the intention of being flattering, while still being functional and comfortable. It is truly hard to find leggings that have it all, and these definitely do. I think the only negative thing I can think of is that I didn ’ t get these in every color, but I have every intention to. I find myself wanting to wear them every day, whether it's to work out, to run errands, or everything else in between. Even as much as I ’ ve already worn them, they still feel like brand new. These have instantly become my new favorite pair of leggings that I own, by far.

They are nice and warm, in general the therma version of these leggings run a bit big, I would size down if u want to keep the compression feel

Lovely comfortable legging, really nice material. Did size up as they felt like they were pulling back down. Not for running either as you have to keep pulling back up.

Very nice fabrick, soft, good quality. It is not too warm though. I wanted a thermo solution for nordic walking in cold weather under my pants. Its not bad, keeps warmth to a certain level but def not enough to a sub zero celsius

I love how supportive these leggings are. Thick fabric is warm too. I am 5 ’ 8 ”, 130# and size large fits snug. I also like the side pocket.

This is by far my favorite leggings. I was a fan of that Canadian athletic brand for a long time, and this leggings beats all their leggings in every way! I have 3 colors now and thinking getting the red color. It is just right amount of compression for me. Tight, but still comfortable. I love the fact there is NO seam in the middle. The only thing is sizing- in my opinion, I sized down one size to have the right amount of compression for me.

It's a great looking leggings and feels great. I did n't realize before buying that this universa leggings does n't have side pockets.
