I love these shorts! I am 5' 7 '', about 140lb and ordered a medium. The waistband is the same size as a small in my chaser shorts so be aware of that. The material is more of a brushed finish than the method line. They did n't budge on my run, love the waist pocket for my phone and the side pockets have a stretchy mesh lining that is very secure. I really love the soft and buttery feel of the InfinaSoft fabric! I bought a second pair immediately after receiving the first because that ’s how much I loved them! More importantly, I love the fact that the thigh area( hems) aren ’ t stitched. My personal opinion is that Nike ’s biker shorts are made for women with slimmer/smaller quads. I have purchased numerous pairs of their biker shorts only to return them because they ’ re just too tight and constricting on my quads. The only pairs of Nike biker shorts that I own are the Nike Pro 5 inch shorts. They, too, fit amazing and I have nearly every color! The 5 inch Pros are just my preference. I didn ’ t have high hopes for these( tbh i never buy nike because i just assume they dont make good running gear) but the magenta color short was calling for me. I sized up to a M even though the size chart says I should be a S, but i ’ m glad i sized up. These are EXCELLENT running shorts. The waist did n't fold over, even when i was sitting down. They did n't slide down during my 4 miles run/walk. I dont think i had to adjust the legs or pull the waist up even one time. There ’s no seem at the leg opening so i had NO chafing. I have always been a 6 ” inseam bike short gal, but i will be buying more 8 ” inseam shorts because of these. I want them in more colors! I think the only downside is that the side pockets are kind of small. I have the iPhone 13 mini, and it fits, but i dont think any larger of a phone could fit. The pockets are an appropriate size for gels, energy bars, etc. but definitely not the iphone pro max lol. Overall great running short!
