I really need to try them without the boxes and see how they work. There is a pocket on the left side of the compression short, it can hold your cell phone or wallet. There is a small zipper pocket on the right butt cheek and a loop on the left hip, where you could place a small towel to hold while working out or a spring link clip that is holding your keys. I 'm my opinion, the right& left pockets of the shorts are fairly deep, I can place my phone in the pocket and be worried it would fall out when taking a seat. The material is a bit thinner, they ’ re a bit shorter, and generally, they ’ re pared down in a way that makes them less without being lesser.
