Their front pockets are as roomy as they could be in a pair of running shorts. There is a zipped pocket on the right side big enough for car keys and a few run gels, gummies or waffle. I have 3 pairs of the interval shorts, and I really like those, but I ’ d put the tactical just a smidge higher. The waste band feels more solid and thicker, and the tactical shorts fit a little more snug than interval. Both are awesome, I use both for everyday wear. I ’ m 5 ’ 6 ”, 175, fairly fit, bigger legs and butt, and medium fits great. I mostly do CrossFit and some running, the shorts hold up great for both. Highly recommend!
