[ very nice product here. Keeps me warm in 30 degree weather with gusts, and matches the same style top baselayer well. Overall great buy.

[ I have purchased a half dozen Carhartt Base Force crew shirts. Yes, they 're expensive. Yes, they 're worth it. They keep me extraordinarily warm, and they 're very comfortable. They 're worth every penny you 'll spend. Buy one for your dad, too. He 'll appreciate it!

[ I bought these for my husband who happens to love Carhart. Moosjaw had the most competitive pricing and shipping rates. The product got here fast, and safety packaged.

[ Best value for your money as far as base layers go. You can spend 3x more on Smartwool or Icebreaker if you are looking for the best with a hefty price tag. Overall, this lives up to Carhartt ’s name

[ I knew I was getting a good shirt because this is my second one. It fits snug enough to keep out the wind. It wicks and dries like an athletic shirt. Since it is 100% polyester, it is likely more durable than most. It keeps its shape and looks better than most.

Kaiii
[ Carthatt is a quality brand that is made affordable. I used this for my snow trip and it gave me warmth so I do n't have to layer too much. Very satisfied with my purchase!
$51.99
Warm and comfortable. ... good fit comfort and warm ... very warm i like the the loops on the sleeves when put a shirt over it ... Keeps you warm ... Little expensive for a base layer but it does its job keeping you

Ecko
It's a great fit i will get another one but this time in medium size. It's a hit& miss on my end.

Cab123
I purchased one of these and liked it so much I went back and got another one. The fit is perfect. But I did have to size up to an extra large which I have to do with all Carhartt space layers for their shirts. But I like the fit and I like the materials. I wear them at work and it's a lot better to sweat in these than it is a cotton shirt. I believe these are the newer models also as they do n't have the sewn on Carhartt tag. Nonetheless they are still quality shirts but are a little on the pricey side at$ 50 each. But still worth it in my opinion.

Little expensive for a base layer but it does its job keeping you warm. I used it a few times and it does work. I will say get one size up runs small. I am 6ft and 185 and my normal is L but had to get an XL.

Smart wool has always made quality products and these are no different. But… awfully pricey for a pair of long Johns!
$44.99
I ’ ve used it for skiing and also just lounging around the house. ... It ’s warm, breathes and I don ’ t get sweaty going from cold to warm. ... I like these a lot more than other base layers- many of them ride up, but these do

This is great base layer! As far as the appearance parameter goes, I suppose that is limited by the user. But the shirt itself is great.

I work outside at our airport, mostly outside for hours at a time, sometimes in and out in and out. This piece surprised me. It ’s warm, breathes and I don ’ t get sweaty going from cold to warm. I ’ m 5 ’ 7 165 43 chest 33 waist. I went large and got a perfect fit. I ’ m usually between medium and large in Carhartt so, I have to gamble on everything I buy. This is a winner for me.

These are great! The tall size fits very well and help keep the chill off when I ’ m working in the cold
$90.00
I do like how lightweight it is, but I did notice that my underarm sweat from hiking did leave an odor, when a main reason I bought Merino wool is because it ’s supposed to repel

Just came back from Banff Canada and wore this base layer everyday. I was warm and dry in sero degree weather!

[ I rage- bought another one of these after a medical tech ruined the neckline of the first one during a procedure. Every time I want to put on something warm and reliably comfy, I reach for this top. I intend to buy one per year until I 've replaced every other base layer top I own. Very good quality, good feel to the fabric. I 'm fairly tall( 5'10 '') and the sleeves are long enough, and the body is long enough. So that's another thing.

[ For reference, I purchased a Medium. I ’ m 5 ’ 4 ”, 128 pounds, pear shaped, so, smaller on top, curvier on bottom. I got the black which is opaque. I wear this baselayer weight for cross country skiing when it ’s above 30 degrees or so. Smartwool varies in size for me, these are not extremely fitted like some of the 1/4 zips so go with your normal size.

[ I love this shirt. I recently got another few to fill up my wardrobe after a move from AZ to OR. I have had the originals for almost 9 years and wear them all winter long. I have been hiking, backpacking, and traveling with them and they have withstood the test of time. They are comfortable alone or as under layer. I additionally regularly wear it as a mid layer with a smartwool tank below. I truly love these shirts. If it helps, I wear an XS and am 5 ’ 2 ’ ’ and 120- 130lbs depending on the year.

[ Bought my Smartwool Women's Classic All- Season Merino LS Base Layer Tops just in time for the cold weather in the “ D ”. Best referral from a friend ever! Not only do I look good because they fit beautifully but are lightweight; so I ’ m not bulky 😊 whether worn alone( burnt orange is hot 🔥) or layered under my sweater I ’ m warm and toasty…looking good! Not sweaty in this wool top; comfort is sexy, ok! Grabbing more for stocking stuffers 😊

Very warm- wore as a base layer in Aspen when temp was 15 degrees and stayed cozy all day- also wore a different brand( volcom) fleece mid layer and then burton jacket good

its my daily driver under my dress shirt in colder temperatures.

Ali
Great wool baselayer- lighter than some of my heavier ones, which is exactly what I needed for touring. Does n't get too hot on the uphill compared to the heaver weight merino baselayers I have, still keeps my warm enough, easy to layer with, really enjoying it!

lizardblizzard
I bought this for my husband and its one of the most worn items in his closet. He has a really muscular build, so he is always looking for low- bulk layers and this is perfect. He likes that he can go directly from a zoom call( looks dressy enough on screen) to working outside( durable) to skiing( warmth under a ski jacket). He finds that he wears it most often as a mid- layer, but has worn it next to skin, as well. I am online buying him a few more in other colors right now!
$99.00
Otherwise they are a great base layer. ... It is a great lightweight piece for high- exertion activities where you may need an extra layer for warmth. ... In particular, I was blown away with how the liners performed during a wet and windy
5
Ozzy
[ Comfortable; warm but not too hot. I have bought multiple pairs for backcountry skiing, hiking, and winter/ fall hunting when temperatures begin to drop in the mountains.
5
Josh
[ Had these for a month. Worn them, washed them, no problems at all. I 'm 6' 1 '' and bought a medium and they were the perfect length. Breathable but warm enough for freezing temperatures.

Marty
[ Size XL fits me very well, 225 lbs 38 waist x 32 inseam. Not tight, not baggy, I hardly know I 'm wearing it. One winter day hike so far( mid 20's f), kept my legs warm. Ca n't rate durability yet, but construction quality looks good.

Colin
Essential lighter weight base layer. I wear the onset bottoms whenever I need a little extra warmth during river wading, hiking, disc golf, or snowboarding.
5
Scott
It is a great lightweight piece for high- exertion activities where you may need an extra layer for warmth. I wore these for a few days in a row, and they held their shape and did n't stretch out as some wool pieces will over time. I am 5' 6 and 150lbs, and the small is a perfect fit.
