I am impressed with my Carhartt Poly- wool bottom. I received the thermal as part of a Carhartt Crew Field Test, but I will be ordering two more complete sets. I am truly amazed at how well this bottom works to keep me warm. One must understand, I am constantly cold, so to me, this is amazing. I am 5ft 3in, and weigh 115lbs, and the small works well for me. I have laundered it, with no ill effects. It has retained it's shape and fit very well. The bottom also fits perfectly under skinny jeans, without bunching or showing. I live in Iowa, and it gets cold here. While wearing this pair of thermal bottoms, I stayed warm. It really goes long way in cutting the harsh winds we get out here on the prairie. I can honestly recommend this thermal bottom to anyone who gets cold in the winter.

I find that the sizing is true, and the small works well for me. The shirt handles being laundered very well, without shrinking or pilling. It has retained it's shape. I wash in cool water, and I use fabric softener in addition to laundry soap. The Carhartt heavyweight poly wool shirt is extremely effective in keeping me warm, and blocking the harsh Iowa wind. I tend to stay cold, so this is saying a lot. I love the shirt, because it is fitted. It works well under clothing, without bunching up. I appreciate the `` thumb holes '' on the sleeves, since this prevented the sleeves from riding up while I put on my sweatshirt. Great quality, superior warmth, and comfort.

I LOVE the Calia Women ’s Cold Dash 1/4 Zip. I got the black in the medium size. I normally wear a small but the description said it is fitted, which it is, and I didn ’ t want a tight fit. This fits me exactly the way I want it too. It is nicely tailored but not skin tight. I am 5 ’ 6 ” and about 128 pounds. Previously, my favorite athletic 1/4 zip jacket was a black one with a back pocket that holds my phone. I had looked everywhere, unsuccessfully, for another until now. This jacket has a very nicely placed pocket in the back that holds my phone very comfortably during my daily morning 2 to 3 mile walks. The jacket also has reflecting lines on the back that serve their purpose when needed but still look fashionable at all times. 4. 0 is the best base layer for the price. My kids are competitive skiers in the Northeast. Our winters are harsh and with windchill the temperatures can drop below zero. Using these 4. 0 as base layers helps to keep their heat from escaping. They hold up well through washing and the boys playing/lounging in them after skiing too. This is just an early review, I have not worn them for any length of time yet. They are not as heavy as the previous model, but are light weight and more flexible. Im not sure if they are as warm as the previous model. Pay close attention to the carhartt sizing chart. In the previous model, I wore a large, in these I were a medium. Im returning mine for the right size. And this time i 'll probably order the ones with the wool, assuming they are warmer.

Bought these to use as an alternative to fleece lined work pants. Much prefer these as it provides more flexibility, yet keeps you warm. They fit well and pair with my canvas work pants. I particularly like the idea that if the weather warms up enough, I can simply take them off, whereas with lined pants, you 're stuck unless you keep an additional pair of pants with you. These launder well too. The seams in them are placed well so there's no `` tugging '' or tightness. To me, they 're a great cold weather investment.

These are amazing! We love them. ❤️ My dad got my husband and I both a set for Christmas like 10 years ago or more. They are still in perfect condition. We use them for hunting, playing in the snow or anytime we have to be outside for long periods of time in the cold. When I go hunting and it's super cold or wind chill of- 15. I wear mine, my husband's and my under armour sweat pants under my hunting bibs. No need for a heater at all. My son told me he needed some bigger under layers so I automatically ordered him this set. He is going to be so excited when he gets the Christmas morning. If you have multiple children you definitely need to get these. They are such a good quality and will last for years if they are taken care of. The adults sizes are pretty unisex in the bottoms. I live in wool tank tops year- round. It is extremely rare that I am not wearing one, even if it is as a first layer during colder months. In this style( no matter what brand), you almost always need to SIZE DOWN one size; and some people may even go down two sizes. Ordinarily, I do not even like the `` muscle '' tee/tank style, but this one has a perfect feminine cut, while still embodying the strong, confident vibe many of us appreciate. For reference, I wear a medium in the Siren tank, and a small in the 125 Cool- Lite Sphere III tank. In most Icebreaker pieces, whether top or bottom, I generally prefer size medium, but every now and then I like a large( for instance, in some full- length leggings). I already have stacks of the Siren tanks, and now I have a growing stack of these as well; both are year- round daily staples I will not live without. While it is true that not every one of these tanks is consistently assembled and/or symmetrically proportioned, for most brands, I am long accustomed to ordering multiple units and returning those that do not fit perfectly. Yes, it is a hassle, but I am used to it, and this tank is SO worth it. Icebreaker, if you are reading this, please do NOT change a thing about the size small in this style( except for general quality control and manufacturing consistency). I have a long torso, long arms, and the dimensions are absolutely perfect for me. This tank is SO soft, tremendously comfortable, and incomparably feather- light. It feels like wearing nothing. As with many Icebreaker pieces, this garment dramatically decreases stress on a daily basis, and instantly became an indispensable element of my minimalist wardrobe. Thank you!

Like the feel of this LS tee. Can use it as a base layer or by itself on cooler days. I personally used it for an outdoor run and felt great. One thing though… while the fabric is intended to wick sweat out, I did notice the tee being soaked so not sure I ’ ll be taking it out for runs again.
