It ’s so hard to find longer bike shorts( for those of us with thick thighs) that have pockets, do not cause sausage leg, and don ’ t roll at the waist while still giving some tummy control. These shorts check off all of those boxes. I wish there were a few more darker colors to hide the crotch sweat.

These are my favorite high- waisted shorts ever. I have 7 pairs. These are my everyday shorts, gym shorts, walking shorts, house shorts, errand shorts, etc. They fit perfect on my waist and have enough coverage that they are comfortable for exercising. I am usually a medium but sized these up to large so they would cover more and not ride up and show butt cheeks( medium did this to me). I would consider sizing up if you want more coverage.

Great all- around shorts! I love the fabric of these—the nylon has a crisp( almost stiff at first, then softening over time) and substantial feel. These hold up to moderate abrasion better than drapey polyester shorts. They ’ re perfect for rock climbing. The wide leg opening and stretch makes them great for lifting or running too. I ’ ve even gone swimming in them( just note they are unlined). I love the 5 '' inseam, but I do wish the front rise and back rise were an inch higher. The embroidered logo is a nice touch.
