We bought this for my high school son to use as his daily school back pack. It works great. We debated on what size to get. We are so glad we got this one and did n't go with a smaller bag. His bag holds his lap top, 3 small binders, a couple of books and a lunch bag quite well. And so far, we are very happy with the quality. I know this bag is bigger and therefore a more expensive, but it has been worth it, plus I am hoping this bag will last more than one school year.

The current pockets( and there are plenty!) all extend to the bottom of the bag. Which means you re reaching all the way down to the bottom of the bag to find stuff.
