Excellent bag. I use this for the gym before work. Fits my work clothes easily as well as men ’s size 13 shoes in the side compartment. I also keep a pair of flip flops for the shower and a typical size lunch box in there. Comfortable. Solid materials and plenty big for what I need. Fits decent in a locker but may be slightly too long for doing so. I could also see it being very good for traveling.

There is a discrete strap on the back that allows you to attach to your suitcase. And something that really caught my eye was the side compartment for wet/dirty clothes. It allows you to separate your wet/dirty clothing from the clean. I have also used the compartment for my shoes. The material of the bag also makes it very easy to clean. I would definetly recommend this bag.

[ I love the versatility of this bag. I go to many different types of workout classes including cardio, strength, and yoga and it seems like this bag has a pocket for everything. The exterior yoga mat pocket is clever as it does n't take up space inside the bag and allows it to air dry after a hot yoga class. The dirty clothes pocket is convenient and it even has an interior keychain to help you keep track of your keys. The zipper is large and easy to use. The bag is on the bigger size but does n't feel too bulky. This is one of the more innovative gym bags I have ever owned.

The material is nice and thick, but lightweight. I could fit everything I needed in it for a weekend stay. It comes with other additional nice attributes that I 've never seen before, like side luggage slits so it could fit over the luggage handle and sit on top of the luggage without shifting. I travel for work with a 2 bag system and basically live out of this bag and a backpack for my laptop etc for a couple weeks at a time every month. It ’s just the right amount of space for me and let me tell you it is rugged. I ’ m not easy on this bag and it looks brand new after months of weekly use. I ’ ve only had one issue where I lost a strap and even though I was at fault customer support took care of me and got a new one right out. I honestly can not say enough good things about this product, the CS I received, and this company as a whole. Great gear and people!

Bought it 2 years ago and it's holding beautifully. Handles have developed some patina but a lot of the bag looks like new. Main compartment zipper is reinforced and does not het floppy/wrinkly, making zipping/unzipping easier and getting into the bag easier. Plenty of compartments and and carry styles thanks to many attachment loops for shoulder belt and handles. Handles do dig in into shoulders though if you carry heavy stuff. Also, magnets in to keep the handles together hold the handles quite poorly. But it's really all the nitpicks I can think of.

After 3 months, one of the side pocket zipper- pull broke off. After reaching out to Peak design they directed me to go through the warranty process. I received a brand new replacement bag within a few weeks. It was a pretty seamless process. Overall the bag is fantastic. Love all the pockets and carrying versatility. The one critique would be that the magnets in the Handel are too weak. I highly recommend travel duffel.

This bag is AWESOME! I travel a lot and have tried a variety of different styles and types of bags to use as my carry- on luggage and until now had not found one that was anything but just 'okay'. They were either too big or too small, hard to carry with my other luggage, lacked compartments I needed, etc. However this one is amazing! It's big enough to carry everything I need including my laptop, a change of clothes, some toiletries, my tablet and phone, and anything else I might want to take with me. Plus it has some many sections that I keep everything organized. And one of my favorite things about it is that it slides over the handle of my suitcase making it a breeze to carry with my other luggage. And aside from traveling, it's been the perfect bag to take for little day trips we take to the zoo, museum, fairs, and anywhere else my family and I like to go on a 'Family Day'. Plus it's beautiful, the material is soft and high quality, and it's easy to clean. There's only one thing and it's not really an issue, but more of a warning, and that's you have to pay attention and not put things in the one side pouch that is meant to slide over suitcase handles or you 'll end up with whatever you put in there falling right out. So overall I have to say this bag really is superb and definitely worth the cost. If you 're looking for the perfect large bag, get one of these and I promise you wo n't be disappointed!

Let's start with the size of this bag, I was pleasantly surprised that it was much larger than I anticipated. I could very easily fit at least a weeks worth of stuff in here and I am not a light packer by any means! This bag is high quality all around, all of the seams were done well, the straps are nice and thick, and the zippers all glided very smoothly; it feels like it will last a long time. I love that inside it has multiple different compartments and on the outside it also has the slip to sit on top of your luggage. I think this is a worthy investment piece, it should last you a long time and you wo n't have to worry about it falling apart. Even the texture of the outside of the bag is noteworthy, I spilled a little on it and it was very easy to wipe off without leaving a stain. Definitely better quality than most bags I have so I would definitely recommend this to anyone in the market for a new travel bag!

This was a give for my wife, who already had the carry- on suitcase which she used on our most recent trip abroad. We had noticed people with `` personal items '' that could attach to the handle of roll- on bags and decided something like this would make it even easier to maneuver through crowded airports. I own a lot of duffle bags. I ’ m a seasonal worker in Alaska and the lighter and tougher the bag that can hold my gear the better. A lot of if not most duffel bags on the market can convert to a backpack, but I don ’ t know of any other duffles that can convert to a huge tote!? My other duffel bags I used when I travel to/from Alaska sit for the six months until I need them. I know this is gon na be used weekly when we go for quick overnight car camping on the flats or grocery trips in Canada and especially laundry. It's is higher quality than Osprey or The North Face duffles I own and more useful than both. There's a big mesh pocket inside the bag to separate smaller things. it ’s a very well thought out bag and looks pretty cool. I ’ ll be using this for years to come.

The way the bag converts from a backpack to wide mouthed storage tote is very handy. The way it opens up makes staying organized easier than a traditional duffel bag. This bag's versatility is unmatched from others I 've owned and used. I never imagined I 'd buy another after my old Marmot bag but Nemo said, `` hold my beer... I 've been looking for a bigger duffel for a trip planning to Greece and wow this fits the bill. I bought the 100L and it's amazing how big this is. So far I have a few 60- 80L Duffel from TNF and Patagonia and love those two. In comparison, this is not as thick as my TNF, but definitely thicker than Patagonia. 2nd, once a few items get tossed in, it's Free Standing!!! With the additional support on the sides, I can easily toss things in. So far I planned a few camping/climbing/biking trips and this thing fits all my gear and clothe I needed. Tote mode has been amazing as it makes everything easily accessible. Ca n't wait to try the Backpack mode for my flights.

Bought it 2 years ago and it's holding beautifully. Handles have developed some patina but a lot of the bag looks like new. Main compartment zipper is reinforced and does not het floppy/wrinkly, making zipping/unzipping easier and getting into the bag easier. Plenty of compartments and and carry styles thanks to many attachment loops for shoulder belt and handles. Handles do dig in into shoulders though if you carry heavy stuff. Also, magnets in to keep the handles together hold the handles quite poorly. But it's really all the nitpicks I can think of.

After 3 months, one of the side pocket zipper- pull broke off. After reaching out to Peak design they directed me to go through the warranty process. I received a brand new replacement bag within a few weeks. It was a pretty seamless process. Overall the bag is fantastic. Love all the pockets and carrying versatility. [ How did Influenster know I was in need of a good, quality luggage? I ’ m overly impressed of the quality of this luggage. The texture and the sturdiness feels like it can sustain a lot during your travels for a long time. It feels lightweight at only 9lbs. Very comfortable to carry. Besides how lightweight it feels, the best part of this luggage is the many compartments it has inside. There ’s even one that can hold all your toiletries without making a mess of the rest of you luggage, especially if there are clothes near it. Inside it ’s very spacious. There ’s a lot of space for multiple items including a lot of clothes with a nice number of jeans, which to me takes a lot space in the luggage. The zippers that have 2 of them has a connecting area for a lock if you need it which is nice. The expandable handle is easy to take out and even easier to get it back in it ’s almost automatic. The wheels don ’ t go sideways but to be honest is not a problem for me. Going forward is perfectly fine in my opinion. I ’ m glad I finally have a good quality luggage to take on my travels. It ’s worth it for your own peace of mind.

[ I brought the Thule Chasm along for a cross- country road trip( Denver- Maryland- up to New York) and then used it as a carry- on for a flight to the Dominican Republic — and it fit everything I needed, keeping it dry and contained. The material is super sturdy and easily withstood being tossed around in and out of rental cars, overhead bins, and sandy hotel rooms. I also really like the calming color( easy to spot) and the handle design, which makes it comfortable to pull through airports or grab quickly out of a trunk. It ’s compact enough to fit in an overhead bin but still has plenty of space for both wedding attire and beach attire for a full week. One thing to note: it only has wheels on one side. While that means fewer things that can break, it makes adding luggage on top a little harder to navigate. I never thought I would get excited about using a duffel bag, but this duffel is actually amazing. As soon as I opened it, I could tell that a lot of thought went into it. I love that it has a few pockets for organizing smaller items, and the main compartment's stiffened trusses that keep the bag open while you 're packing it is a feature that I did n't know I needed. It makes it SO much easier to pack, and now all other duffels seem lackluster and kind of annoying to use. I 'm petite, so the backpack straps( which are well padded) and the tote handles help me to more comfortably carry large loads. Brad's review below prompted me to write my own review. He may have been a little confused because this bag is MORE than a duffel. I just returned from a golf/bike race and it was amazing how useful this bag is. With pockets on both the inside and outside and the packing cube( the storage bag), I was able to organize the important stuff while having a huge space in the middle. What really surprised me was the tote. I thought at first that I would never use it and it would be too hard to carry but it was the mode that preferred while moving from car to hotel, to and from the race and the size made it so easy to throw stuff in and have it readily accessible. Now that I think about it, the opening in the top is what made it so useful and easy. It has a zipper to close it but stuff stays in really well because it stands upright. The back pack straps can be stored out of the way and I feel like I would use the backpack if I had a long distance to walk, like an airport. All of this info is demonstrated really well in the video so I had no problem figuring out how to use it. This bag is very durable and seems like it would be almost waterproof. I have about 6 duffels and this one is my instant favorite. I 'll use it for travel, triathlon transition, golf travel bag, and basically anytime I need a bag for something. The `` tote '' mode is genius. This is innovation and Nemo nailed it on this one.

I just picked the 30L duffel up for upcoming international travel and a Grand Canyon rafting trip. After reading and watching so many reviews on adventure/travel duffels, these new Double Hauls have all the right standard features and then elevate above the competition with the 3 distinct modes. Having it in hand, these things are built like a tank, but are sleek enough for regular travel( if you don ’ t mind an outdoorsy vibe). I was a little worried that the 30L would be too small and didn ’ t want to jump all the way to a 55L. I despise checking luggage. Turns out you can fill this almost to the brim, then cinch down the interior luggage straps over your gear and compress the whole thing with the exterior side buckles. Amazing. The stiffeners really do work to keep the bag open/structured. The backpack straps are comfortable and stay out of the way when in tote mode. The tote carry handles are a good size and snap together well. Pockets are minimal, but a good size. And the storage bag/packing cube is a brilliant touch when attached inside the bag for more organization. The only thing I would improve so far are the tote carry handles. They ’ re uncomfortable on my shoulder. A traditional padded handle wrap would be an easy fix. And/or adding in a wide shoulder strap to attach to the duffel cinch buckles.

My partner usually likes to pick out his own gear but I surprised him with this and he was very impressed. Of note the 40L is oddly shaped( like a pizza deliver box holder!) but this one is much better.

Fantastic product and definitely built for the wild. A little smaller than expected so if you ’ re on the fence about the 40L or 60L, get the 60L.
