This bag is AWESOME! I travel a lot and have tried a variety of different styles and types of bags to use as my carry- on luggage and until now had not found one that was anything but just' okay'. They were either too big or too small, hard to carry with my other luggage, lacked compartments I needed, etc. However this one is amazing! It's big enough to carry everything I need including my laptop, a change of clothes, some toiletries, my tablet and phone, and anything else I might want to take with me. Plus it has some many sections that I keep everything organized. And one of my favorite things about it is that it slides over the handle of my suitcase making it a breeze to carry with my other luggage. And aside from traveling, it's been the perfect bag to take for little day trips we take to the zoo, museum, fairs, and anywhere else my family and I like to go on a' Family Day'. Plus it's beautiful, the material is soft and high quality, and it's easy to clean. There's only one thing and it's not really an issue, but more of a warning, and that's you have to pay attention and not put things in the one side pouch that is meant to slide over suitcase handles or you 'll end up with whatever you put in there falling right out. So overall I have to say this bag really is superb and definitely worth the cost. If you 're looking for the perfect large bag, get one of these and I promise you wo n't be disappointed!

Away Luggage sent me a Large Featherlight Tote in Amaro Brown for free in exchange for my honest feedback! Let's start with the size of this bag, I was pleasantly surprised that it was much larger than I anticipated. I could very easily fit at least a weeks worth of stuff in here and I am not a light packer by any means! This bag is high quality all around, all of the seams were done well, the straps are nice and thick, and the zippers all glided very smoothly; it feels like it will last a long time. I love that inside it has multiple different compartments and on the outside it also has the slip to sit on top of your luggage. I think this is a worthy investment piece, it should last you a long time and you wo n't have to worry about it falling apart. Even the texture of the outside of the bag is noteworthy, I spilled a little on it and it was very easy to wipe off without leaving a stain. Definitely better quality than most bags I have so I would definitely recommend this to anyone in the market for a new travel bag!

I bought this bag in or around 2018- I 'm only writing the review now because I recommended this bag to my brother, and realized it was criminal that I had n't posted a public one yet. This badboy has been with me to 10+ countries, been thrown in and out of every size of airplane, and generally been my bag of choice for everything that comes up. I have dragged it through immigration lines by the strap, and have worn it as a backpack because I had my hands full. It feels like a small bag, but somehow holds everything... like it always manages to hold everything. I tried tons of different specialized bags to use for getting my pilot's license, and this thing( surprise!) holds everything perfectly. Weekend bag? check. Month long trip? Rock this guy plus a backpack or carryon. Which brings me to the* only* flaw I can think of. It does n't sit well on top of a rolling suitcase. The bag will want to slide off the top, and can tip over the whole arrangement when you 're on the run. Also, and I ca n't explain this with anything other than witchcraft... it looks* exactly* the same as when I bought it. 11 out of 10.

I use it for going to the gym, as carry on luggage when flying, commuting to work and have lived out of the bag for 5 day trips with the bag strapped to my motor cycle. The quality and workmanship is excellent. I have the black bag and love the colour. Love the simplicity of the bag, one zip to the main compartment and that ’s it. The side pockets with organisation works great and i use these for my tech gear. Shoulder strap is comfy as are the carry handles. I have used the carrying handles in backpack mode for a 40min walk twice a day for 5 days with just some gym gear and an iPad inside and its doable but I wouldn ’ t like to do it again it just not comfy. I have since purchased the 45 travel backpack for occasions like this. I love the bag as it suits my needs and would recommend peak design gear to others. If Peak Design is reading this I have a wish. I would love if you made a top box liner for the BMW adventure luggage something simple like the duffel in the same material, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE.

I own a lot of duffle bags. I ’ m a seasonal worker in Alaska and the lighter and tougher the bag that can hold my gear the better. A lot of if not most duffel bags on the market can convert to a backpack, but I don ’ t know of any other duffles that can convert to a huge tote!? My other duffel bags I used when I travel to/from Alaska sit for the six months until I need them. I know this is gon na be used weekly when we go for quick overnight car camping on the flats or grocery trips in Canada and especially laundry. It's is higher quality than Osprey or The North Face duffles I own and more useful than both. There's a big mesh pocket inside the bag to separate smaller things. it ’s a very well thought out bag and looks pretty cool. I ’ ll be using this for years to come.

I bought this for an eight day excursion hiking the NM and TX national parks. I need something durable enough to handle checked baggage and throwing around a campsite in the desert. The way the bag converts from a backpack to wide mouthed storage tote is very handy. The way it opens up makes staying organized easier than a traditional duffel bag. It is well built and love the internal and external pockets. My only complaint would be the carrying handles should be shorten.

This bag's versatility is unmatched from others I 've owned and used. I never imagined I 'd buy another after my old Marmot bag but Nemo said, `` hold my beer... '', and here I am... looking to get a smaller size for different travel requirements. Internal straps snug down loads inside, while external straps give you options on how to transport the duffel. I 've been looking for a bigger duffel for a trip planning to Greece and wow this fits the bill. I bought the 100L and it's amazing how big this is. So far I have a few 60- 80L Duffel from TNF and Patagonia and love those two. In comparison, this is not as thick as my TNF, but definitely thicker than Patagonia. 2nd, once a few items get tossed in, it's Free Standing!!! With the additional support on the sides, I can easily toss things in. So far I planned a few camping/climbing/biking trips and this thing fits all my gear and clothe I needed. Tote mode has been amazing as it makes everything easily accessible. Ca n't wait to try the Backpack mode for my flights.

My husband and I were trying to decide between the Base Camp Voyager Duffel and the original Base Camp Duffel, and we ultimately decided on the Voyager version, and we are very happy with the decision. We are using the bag mostly for weekend or road trips where we can both pack our belongings in the same bag instead of rugged trips( ex: camping or backpacking) or long trips where bags may need to be checked. The material for the Voyager is not as thick and sturdy as the original version, but it's still plenty sturdy. We are also not rough on our bags though. I the backpack straps, which can easily be removed with buckles and tucked away whereas with the original version, the backpack straps have to be looped through and are more cumbersome. It is also comfortable to wear as a backpack for short periods. The one downside to the bag is that the internal organization zipped pockets do n't have a lot of room or stretch, so you ca n't fit a lot of items in there. I also wish there were internal compression straps to keep the contents in position since they can shuffle around a lot when not fully packed. Overall, we love the bag, and it has become our go- to bag for our trips!

I just picked the 30L duffel up for upcoming international travel and a Grand Canyon rafting trip. After reading and watching so many reviews on adventure/travel duffels, these new Double Hauls have all the right standard features and then elevate above the competition with the 3 distinct modes. Having it in hand, these things are built like a tank, but are sleek enough for regular travel( if you don ’ t mind an outdoorsy vibe). I was a little worried that the 30L would be too small and didn ’ t want to jump all the way to a 55L. I despise checking luggage. Turns out you can fill this almost to the brim, then cinch down the interior luggage straps over your gear and compress the whole thing with the exterior side buckles. Amazing. The stiffeners really do work to keep the bag open/structured. The backpack straps are comfortable and stay out of the way when in tote mode. The tote carry handles are a good size and snap together well. Pockets are minimal, but a good size. And the storage bag/packing cube is a brilliant touch when attached inside the bag for more organization. The only thing I would improve so far are the tote carry handles. They ’ re uncomfortable on my shoulder. A traditional padded handle wrap would be an easy fix. And/or adding in a wide shoulder strap to attach to the duffel cinch buckles.

I got the 30L and it is HUGE. It's easy to just throw anything inside the bag when you have it in tote mode and just go. The material is super sturdy and easily withstood being tossed around in and out of rental cars, overhead bins, and sandy hotel rooms. I also really like the calming color( easy to spot) and the handle design, which makes it comfortable to pull through airports or grab quickly out of a trunk. It ’s compact enough to fit in an overhead bin but still has plenty of space for both wedding attire and beach attire for a full week. One thing to note: it only has wheels on one side. While that means fewer things that can break, it makes adding luggage on top a little harder to navigate. When plans were released for a travel line I was very much looking forward to seeing a product of this kind. I was not disappointed. It ’s extremely durable and I love the amount of space it has! I got the 35L for weekend travel use but combined with the packing cubes I could easily stretch to a long weekend/3- 5 days of use. The multiple carry strap configurations are an awesome feature. That green color is sleek as well. Two thumbs up PD!

After 3 months, one of the side pocket zipper- pull broke off. After reaching out to Peak design they directed me to go through the warranty process. I received a brand new replacement bag within a few weeks. It was a pretty seamless process. Overall the bag is fantastic. Love all the pockets and carrying versatility. The one critique would be that the magnets in the Handel are too weak. I highly recommend travel duffel.

Very hard to find a decent multipurpose/format day/weekend bag around 30L at this price. I switch between backpack and hand carry almost daily and it's very easy to do. The zip pockets and interior pouches are super useful. I travel a lot for work( 1- 2 nights away at a time) and this is ideal to pack everything I need as a holdall and to unpack at the hotel and use as a gym/day bag in between. It's light, rugged and the magnets and secure zips are a nice touch. I love the colour( sage) and I have n't found anything that comes close.

I bought this bag in or around 2018- I 'm only writing the review now because I recommended this bag to my brother, and realized it was criminal that I had n't posted a public one yet. This badboy has been with me to 10+ countries, been thrown in and out of every size of airplane, and generally been my bag of choice for everything that comes up. I have dragged it through immigration lines by the strap, and have worn it as a backpack because I had my hands full. It feels like a small bag, but somehow holds everything... like it always manages to hold everything. I tried tons of different specialized bags to use for getting my pilot's license, and this thing( surprise!) holds everything perfectly. Weekend bag? check. Month long trip? Rock this guy plus a backpack or carryon. Which brings me to the* only* flaw I can think of. It does n't sit well on top of a rolling suitcase. The bag will want to slide off the top, and can tip over the whole arrangement when you 're on the run. Also, and I ca n't explain this with anything other than witchcraft... it looks* exactly* the same as when I bought it. 11 out of 10.

I have been waiting for Cotopaxi to come out with a roller, and was so excited to order this! I purchased the carry- on size, and it is so roomy, just like my Alpa back pack. I ca n't see me ever having to check luggage again. Like true Cotopaxi style, it is very durable. I chose the pacific blue. The picture is a brighter blue than the bag actually is, which is not a problem, but should be noted.

I ’ m very excited to travel with this bag- the zip compartments on each side will make it easy to stay organized! The straps also make sure everything is secure and there ’s not too much strain on the zipper( which usually does in my other travel bags after a few years!)

This line is exciting... I enjoy how sturdy and tough these bags are and that they can be converted into totes for extra gear, which is unlike any other bag on the market. The additional packing cube is awesome for shoes or dirty clothes. I use the 55L for fishing gear( waders, pack, boots all in one bag? heaven) and ski gear( fits boots, helmet, base layers, jacket, bibs) but love that I could easily use them for a weekend trip. The 30L is an awesome overnight bag and fits under an airplane seat as a carry on. Excited to use them on my drive through Canada and Alaska this summer!

I got this bag for weekend getaways but we used it for a week long trip with two people and it held everything perfectly. It took a second to figure out all the straps but it definitely makes a difference with the backpack straps when you load that much in it. I love that you have the option of a shoulder bag as well which is why I got this. I have a similar Northface bag that converts to a backpack but does n't have the option of the shoulder bag or snapping it down on the sides.

Like everything else I own from Cotopaxi this bag is great. Top notch construction quality with thoughtful touches that make it a great bag. One touch I particularly like is the way the backpack straps connect, instead of using a quick clip or type of manually run straps every time the bag uses a easy rapid connection that I ’ ll not do justice with my description( but it is a creative solution that ’s just works).
