I have to start off and say I really appreciate the quality that goes into these bibs, there have been numerous improvements and upgrades to the older design. They have a relief cut into the pocket to hang a tape measure on either side. The front of the bib pockets are much more usable now, especially with the large zip pocket. I 'm around 5' 4 '' athletic build and ordered a size large since they are described as `` slim fit '' and they 're perfect – fit is stretchy and not at all restrictive in movement. a little long but that's to be expected with snow pants and does n't matter given the way they fall on snowboard boots+ the liner. the straps are a little odd to figure out at first since they cross in the back, but it's easy to get used to. bonus is the zip to allow for quick and easy bathroom breaks in between runs! price point is obviously high but you get what you pay for and these will last forever if properly taken care of.
