They smelled really good and they were looking really nice so I took them out warm for the first day when it was really really cold and they were great amazing probably the best clothes I ’ ve ever had super durable super soft, pretty warm, and then someone stole...

5 Garett M.
My son is on snow, 4+ days a week. He ’s blown through a number of other gloves that are more expensive than the spark. I wear other Black Diamond mittens that have always been durable, warm, and comfortable. I ’ m anticipating that these will last longer than other more expensive gloves that my son has worn. Black Diamond makes great product.

5 Mackenzie W.
I ’ ve only bought this pair because my 5 year old pair was stolen. Through probably 40+ patrol days a year and countless ski and touring days these are consistently the best moderate cold gloves I ’ ve ever had. The leather is durable and the insulation is perfect. It ’s an excellent glove. Only con: BD gloves tend to fit a bit big for the size and it isn ’ t consistent across all gloves. Best to try before you order

5 Stephen B.
Hands down these are the best gloves I ’ ve ever worn. I ’ ve had other name brand gloves but the quality of these surpass every other brand.

5 MICHAEL M.
I use these gloves for projects where i need the dexterity of fingers. Like the spark mitts, these had a tight wrist area to keep the snow and cold out and warm and roomy finger area. Also like the leash strap on each glove so they hang off your wrist when you take them off.( No more losing them in the snow)

5 John D.
I mostly use these for winter backcountry skiing. Easy to get on and off. Warm enough and lots of dexterity. Very durable.

These gloves remind me of TNF stuff from the 80's, amazing quality and thoughtful design with high end materials.

5 Gichan
These gloves keep your hand dried very well. I have n't used under several weather yet, so I am not sure about waterproof from rain& snow yet. I used these at 10~15 degrees C, and my hands held some sweat. These gloves alone would be good between- 10~10 degree C. You would need extra thermal gears under- 10C. I felt the size runs a little large as I break in. You could do half size down if you want tight fits.

5 Debbie
I love my new gloves. Used them in the rain and they kept my hands warm and dry. Fit is perfect too.

Love the gloves- my kid can actually get them on- not to mention dicks was THE ONLY store to have winter gloves in stock. Amazing since we 're in the mid west.... in February.... They were more than I wanted to pay at$ 25... even$ 20 would 've been better but I cant complain too much.

Very nice warm gloves, however, they were pricier than they should be... they are after all... gloves.

5 Mrs74
I bought these gloves for my 7 year old son, and he loves them. He went out to play in the snow and I kept checking on him to be sure his fingers were ok and he was just fine. He played outside in 20 degree weather for 20 minutes and his fingers were warm and dry. He even came in to tell me how easy it was to pick up snow with his new gloves. Great buy.

5 Tstone916
White Mountains 21°F with 5- 10mph winds these gloves worked well as long as you keep active. My fingers were cool but not freezing cold( without liner gloves). My hands did not sweat like in normal gloves. People expecting toasty warm fingers might want to pair these gloves with a thin liner glove. These gloves are thicker than a liner glove but thin and light enough to fit in your jacket pocket. Sizing is perfect. In most gloves a Med is tight but fits perfectly and a Large leaves extra room in the finger tips. These gloves in Med fit almost perfect and leave room for a light weight liner glove.

5 Hugethetank

[ Very comfortable and flexible gloves. These seem warm and will be great for outdoor winter chores due to the durability of the leather and the waterproofing.

5 HillaryF
[ High quality 3M Thinsulate gloves. These gloves are super warm and soft on the inside. They look rugged with their leather on the outside. Perfect for working outdoors or outdoor activities. They arent stiff meaning you can actually feel what youre trying to pick up. Even come with a removable wrist strap so if needed you can take the gloves off and still know where they are and then quickly put them back on.

5 LindaL
[ The Wells Lamont HydraHyde insulated gloves are perfect for cold weather hand protection. The leather repels moisture but stays flexible. The insulation keeps hands warm in cold weather. I really like the knitted wrist as it keeps snow out. These gloves seem very durable. The downside to these is that my dexterity is n't great when wearing them. My fine motor skill tasks are a bit tricky. Overall, these gloves keep my hands warm and dry, and they are affordable to purchase.

Fit is good, quality is good, love the color combo and appearance. Have n't used the liner on a cold day yet to see how much warmer they are. Dexterity is good for a thick glove. Not typing texts with these but can uze zippers, adjust goggles and helmet, the basics you need on the mountain. Have n't check in the rain either but it wo n't be long to test that. Finally found a pair of mittens that have a removable liner( for washing) that stays put when you put mittens on and off. Fleece liner is comfortable, not bunchy, and so warm. Cuffs are comfortable and make these extra warm. Adjustable strap makes the fit just right. I have very cold hands and these are the best mittens I 've found. Also love the tough exterior on the palm side-- seem like they will be long lasting. Hestra is my new favorite brand-- I also bought the white leather ones for cross- country skiing.

The gloves are very well made and extremely warm. Unfortunately they are too big and can not be returned at this purchase site. I would buy again if 1 size smaller available

I still love these gloves and will continue to use them. HOWEVER, I did gain some more experience with them. Doing astrophotography in Arches in 21 degree weather taught me that I 'll need to add another layer and use hand warmers with these. They were fine while the blood was pumping, but when it came to waiting around, my fingers got numb. They would be perfectly fine for anything above 32 degrees. The pull tabs and large openings made it easy to get my hands in and out quickly. Adjusts at the wrist and opening for a tighter fit.

This is just what I needed. The whole purchasing process was great. I only wish they had a bigger size than xl as I have rheumatoid arthritis and they are a little hard to get on but once on they feel great. Thank you Warming Store, you made winter a little more bearable.

I bought these for my elderly mother for Christmas and tried them on while my hands were cold. It was like heaven! She is not good with electronics and this was easy. She knows how to plug in her cell phone and that is all she has to do is plug them in to recharge. They are lightweight and have cell phone fingers. I am very happy with the gift I am giving my elderly mother.

i just love these gloves they are really cozy with all this snow!

5 Patty
I could n't decide between the snow gloves and the premium gloves and just decided to try the cheaper ones first to see if they heated up enough for a Wisconsin winter. Yuppers, they do. So with the money I saved not buying the snow gloves, I got some more 5volt batteries, so my hands do n't every get cold if I can help it. Shoveling snow or brushing off my car I wear these gloves and they have n't let me down yet.

5 Jamie
I usually buy the Grabber hand warmers during the winter in order to slip them inside my gloves to keep my hands warm. When I saw these heated gloves in the store, I thought it was such a clever idea. It saves me money and I feel better about not using so many disposable hand warmers. The battery packs are slim and not even noticeable inside the zippered pocket on the cuffs. They are convenient and easy to use and recharge.

5 Cassidy
I wanted to try a set of battery heated gloves that heat fingers, and you can definitely feel the heat in these gloves. I have poor circulation around my hands, so the heating from these gloves helped a lot.

5 Anita
I bought these gloves for a friend to wear when she is making deliveries, and now all of her colleagues ask about them!

So happy with my purchase. My daughter said her hands have never been warmer or dryer.

5 Active winter sports
I have a pair of these in the 3 finger claw type, they are my colder weather ski gloves. I got these for my teen kid since we go ski in colder temps( under 20F). These are nice and toasty and keep kid's hands warmer than the Scott gloves which are great for above 25F. I was able to get for the same price as Amazon so picking up at Dick's House of Sport was easy and we got to use them the next day. My pair of Hestras are going strong 5+ years later and still fine. At$ 110 the features Hestra should provide but does n't on these gloves were wrist tethers and a clip to keep the pair together( provided on their more expensive gloves) I added both myself which is easy to do. Even though they are expensive I think they will last years and years. Make sure to put the leather conditioner on the leather sections to keep them in good shape( it is sold separately).

Frequently Asked Questions For Best Cold Weather Snowboard Gloves

When selecting cold weather snowboard gloves, consider features that enhance warmth, waterproofing, and dexterity. Look for materials that provide insulation while also being breathable to keep your hands dry. Waterproof membranes are essential to prevent moisture from snow, and adjustable cuffs can help seal out cold air. Additionally, gloves with reinforced palms and fingers can improve grip and durability, making them suitable for handling equipment on the slopes.

To choose the right size for snowboard gloves, start by measuring the circumference of your hand just below the knuckles, excluding the thumb. Use this measurement to refer to the sizing chart provided by the manufacturer, as sizes can vary between brands. Additionally, consider the type of fit you prefer; some may opt for a snug fit for better dexterity, while others might prefer a looser fit for added comfort and insulation. Trying on gloves with the intended base layers can also help ensure a proper fit.

Materials that are effective for keeping hands warm in cold weather include insulated fabrics, waterproof membranes, and breathable materials. Insulation, such as synthetic fibers or down, traps heat while allowing moisture to escape. Waterproof materials help prevent snow and moisture from seeping in, ensuring hands stay dry and warm. Additionally, soft linings can enhance comfort and warmth, making them ideal for cold weather activities.

Yes, certain styles of snowboard gloves are designed with enhanced insulation to provide warmth in cold weather. Look for gloves that feature materials like GORE-TEX or other waterproof and breathable fabrics, as these can help keep hands dry while retaining heat. Additionally, mittens often offer better insulation than gloves due to the way they trap warmth, while gauntlet styles can provide extra coverage and protection from the elements. Many gloves also incorporate thermal linings or additional padding for improved warmth.

Cold weather snowboard gloves are specifically designed to provide enhanced warmth, waterproofing, and dexterity for snowboarding activities. Unlike regular winter gloves, they often feature specialized insulation materials to retain heat while allowing for flexibility and grip needed for handling equipment. Additionally, many snowboard gloves incorporate waterproof membranes to keep hands dry in snowy conditions, and some styles may include features like wrist straps or gauntlet cuffs for added protection against the elements. Overall, these gloves are tailored to meet the demands of snowboarding while ensuring comfort and functionality.

Waterproofing in snowboard gloves is essential for keeping your hands dry and comfortable in cold, wet conditions. Snow and moisture can quickly seep into gloves without proper waterproofing, leading to discomfort and reduced dexterity. Additionally, waterproof materials help maintain warmth by preventing cold water from chilling your hands. This feature is particularly important for extended periods on the slopes, where exposure to snow and moisture is inevitable.

Yes, snowboard gloves can often be used for other winter activities such as skiing, snowshoeing, or winter hiking. Many gloves designed for snowboarding feature waterproof materials and insulation, making them suitable for various cold weather conditions. However, it's important to consider the specific features of the gloves, such as dexterity and grip, to ensure they meet the needs of your chosen activity. Overall, versatile winter gloves can enhance your comfort and performance across multiple outdoor pursuits.

To ensure the durability of snowboard gloves, it is important to choose gloves made from high-quality materials that can withstand harsh weather conditions and frequent use. Regularly cleaning the gloves according to the manufacturer's instructions can help maintain their integrity and performance. Additionally, storing them in a cool, dry place when not in use can prevent moisture buildup and material degradation. Finally, avoiding excessive exposure to rough surfaces and sharp objects can help prolong the life of the gloves.

To determine if your snowboard gloves will provide enough grip for handling equipment, look for gloves that feature textured palms or specialized grip materials. These design elements enhance your ability to hold onto your snowboard and other gear securely. Additionally, consider gloves with a snug fit, as this can improve dexterity and control while you are on the slopes. Checking user reviews can also give you insights into the grip performance of specific gloves.

Cold weather snowboard gloves are typically designed for use in temperatures ranging from just below freezing to well below zero. They are constructed with insulating materials and waterproof features to keep hands warm and dry in harsh winter conditions. Many gloves also offer additional warmth through liners or thicker padding, making them suitable for extended periods on the slopes. It's important to choose gloves that match the specific climate and conditions you expect to encounter while snowboarding.
