I have a pair of these in the 3 finger claw type, they are my colder weather ski gloves. I got these for my teen kid since we go ski in colder temps( under 20F). These are nice and toasty and keep kid's hands warmer than the Scott gloves which are great for above 25F. I was able to get for the same price as Amazon so picking up at Dick's House of Sport was easy and we got to use them the next day. My pair of Hestras are going strong 5+ years later and still fine. At$ 110 the features Hestra should provide but does n't on these gloves were wrist tethers and a clip to keep the pair together( provided on their more expensive gloves) I added both myself which is easy to do. Even though they are expensive I think they will last years and years. Make sure to put the leather conditioner on the leather sections to keep them in good shape( it is sold separately).

We have had a lot of below zero windchills, and it becomes very dangerous for frostbite without the proper gloves. He absolutely loves these! I highly reconnend these gloves for outside play and below zero windchills.

I purchased these for myself at 50% off. I would recommend these at that price point, but not at$ 20. The xl size is a bit smaller than other xl gloves, and wo n't fit a liner glove for skiing. Good for cold weather activities, but not extreme conditions. If you need extreme weather all day skiing gloves, consider something else. But for sunny, dry, seasonable skiing conditions these will work for the price. I use them for southern winter lake fishing/ boating, and for the price... I 'm satisfied.

I love these gloves, they are so warm! I use them on their own hiking while splitboarding and as a liner for really cold days in the resort. The Small size fit my small hands very well... I have borderline kid size hands and they still fit me pretty well. I was able to use my phone with the gloves on my hands. Highly recommended if you want warm hands!

I was expecting those gloves to be good, but they absolutely exceeded my expectations. The first time I wore them, I was outside for six hours in steady rain and near- freezing temperatures. My hands were the driest part of me. Not that these are waterproof- they aren't- but the grid fleece on the backs of the hands wicks and breathes so well that my body heat dried the gloves faster than they could get wet. My hands stayed warm and dry, and the fingers were still dextrous enough that I could work outside. Love these and will be buying more, plus anything else made of Vigor Plus fleece that I can get my hands on. Big improvement in fit over the previous year's model as well.

Took these on trail and they kept my fingers warm in a cold rain. I like the fit, the feel, but glad it did not rain the next day because they did not dry fast at all. Taking something else for days long hiking next time, but these are still nice, keeping for different scenarios, hikes closer to home.

These gloves keep your hand dried very well. I have n't used under several weather yet, so I am not sure about waterproof from rain& snow yet. I used these at 10~15 degrees C, and my hands held some sweat. These gloves alone would be good between- 10~10 degree C. You would need extra thermal gears under- 10C. I felt the size runs a little large as I break in. You could do half size down if you want tight fits.

I previously owned golding rocker chairs and they are showing their age. I have seen the exact chairs at a few different place we shop. Plus of course alot of the Texans merchandise was on sell do I had to indulge myself.

I think these are great gloves… I had tried my daughters pair that had the different grip than these ones and really liked them so ordered these ones so they wouldn ’ t be entirely the same. These ones have dots on the palms instead. I consider myself to have bigger sized hands so sized up to a large. I definitely should ’ ve gotten the med! The fingers are too long for me and look funny to me. So I ’ m definitely just going to exchange for the med! They ’ re very frilly and work great on my iPhone. Just be careful with sizing! The med feel sung but not too tight. I had to pull them over my hands which is why I sized up thinking they ’ d just be slightly bigger. Overall I recommend these gloves!

[ High quality 3M Thinsulate gloves. These gloves are super warm and soft on the inside. They look rugged with their leather on the outside. Perfect for working outdoors or outdoor activities. They arent stiff meaning you can actually feel what youre trying to pick up. Even come with a removable wrist strap so if needed you can take the gloves off and still know where they are and then quickly put them back on.

[ The Wells Lamont HydraHyde insulated gloves are perfect for cold weather hand protection. The leather repels moisture but stays flexible. The insulation keeps hands warm in cold weather. I really like the knitted wrist as it keeps snow out. These gloves seem very durable. The downside to these is that my dexterity is n't great when wearing them. My fine motor skill tasks are a bit tricky. Overall, these gloves keep my hands warm and dry, and they are affordable to purchase.

I could n't decide between the snow gloves and the premium gloves and just decided to try the cheaper ones first to see if they heated up enough for a Wisconsin winter. Yuppers, they do. So with the money I saved not buying the snow gloves, I got some more 5volt batteries, so my hands do n't every get cold if I can help it. Shoveling snow or brushing off my car I wear these gloves and they have n't let me down yet.
5

I usually buy the Grabber hand warmers during the winter in order to slip them inside my gloves to keep my hands warm. When I saw these heated gloves in the store, I thought it was such a clever idea. It saves me money and I feel better about not using so many disposable hand warmers. The battery packs are slim and not even noticeable inside the zippered pocket on the cuffs. They are convenient and easy to use and recharge.

I wanted to try a set of battery heated gloves that heat fingers, and you can definitely feel the heat in these gloves. I have poor circulation around my hands, so the heating from these gloves helped a lot.

I work outside throughout the winter and the hardest thing to do is keep my fingers warm when it gets 20 degrees or less. I decided to try these mittens for the times I do n't need fingers( gloves). They are excellent. I added a Hot Hands hand warmer to each mitten and they kept my fingers toasty. I could even take the mittens off, use my fingers to put some nuts on bolts, and put the mittens back on.... No problem. No more painfully cold fingers.

Finally found a pair of mittens that have a removable liner( for washing) that stays put when you put mittens on and off. Fleece liner is comfortable, not bunchy, and so warm. Cuffs are comfortable and make these extra warm. Adjustable strap makes the fit just right. I have very cold hands and these are the best mittens I 've found. Also love the tough exterior on the palm side-- seem like they will be long lasting. Hestra is my new favorite brand-- I also bought the white leather ones for cross- country skiing.

I bought these for my elderly mother for Christmas and tried them on while my hands were cold. It was like heaven! She is not good with electronics and this was easy. She knows how to plug in her cell phone and that is all she has to do is plug them in to recharge. They are lightweight and have cell phone fingers. I am very happy with the gift I am giving my elderly mother.

Been using Bd gloves for many years and they have always been great but these are hands down the warmest mitt I ’ ve had, which is so great to have for those super chilly days up on the resort. No finger separators which I like as your body heat keeps each digit warm.

These are hands down( haha!) the best mittens ever! I have spent a lifetime of winters with perpetually frozen fingers, desperate for a way to foil Mother Nature. Enter the Black Diamond Mission MX mittens and all I can say is let ’s go outside, and bring on the snow. First of all, this is the first xs mitten that really is extra small and fits me. There ’s loads of insulation but they ’ re not too bulky( they work great with ski poles and trekking poles and give me enough dexterity to make snow balls). They are really well made and packed with features( wrist elastic and Velcro, soft suede on the thumbs, leashes with toggles, super cozy insides, and super weather- proof outsides. And they are WARM! I have yet to come in from the cold to warm up my hands. So happy.

These gloves replaced a pair of BD gloves I used for nearly 6 years.

My son is on snow, 4+ days a week. He ’s blown through a number of other gloves that are more expensive than the spark. I wear other Black Diamond mittens that have always been durable, warm, and comfortable. I ’ m anticipating that these will last longer than other more expensive gloves that my son has worn. Black Diamond makes great product.

Through probably 40+ patrol days a year and countless ski and touring days these are consistently the best moderate cold gloves I ’ ve ever had. The leather is durable and the insulation is perfect. I use these gloves for projects where i need the dexterity of fingers. Like the spark mitts, these had a tight wrist area to keep the snow and cold out and warm and roomy finger area. Also like the leash strap on each glove so they hang off your wrist when you take them off.( No more losing them in the snow)

I still love these gloves and will continue to use them. HOWEVER, I did gain some more experience with them. Doing astrophotography in Arches in 21 degree weather taught me that I 'll need to add another layer and use hand warmers with these. They were fine while the blood was pumping, but when it came to waiting around, my fingers got numb. They would be perfectly fine for anything above 32 degrees. The pull tabs and large openings made it easy to get my hands in and out quickly. Adjusts at the wrist and opening for a tighter fit.

I do love the new gloves. I used the size chart and I feel like the XL was the right size for me. The look and material are of a high quality. They keep me warm in cold conditions skiing. For future builds I wish:- They had a zipper pouch for hand warmer and doubles as a vent. I would recommend these gloves and would purchase again.

I use these gloves for snow shoveling and ca n't praise them enough! They keep my hands warm and dry and have the right amount of flexibility so I can use my fingers. I bought a pair for my neighbor's birthday after she admired mine and she loves hers, too!! Highly recommend!
When selecting snow gloves for skiing, consider features such as insulation, waterproofing, and breathability. Insulated gloves help keep your hands warm in cold temperatures, while waterproof materials prevent moisture from seeping in. Additionally, look for gloves with a good grip and adjustable cuffs to ensure a secure fit and prevent snow from entering.
To choose the right size for snow gloves, measure the circumference of your hand around the knuckles and refer to the sizing chart provided by the manufacturer. It's important to ensure a snug fit without being too tight, as this can affect circulation and warmth. Also, consider trying on gloves with the liners you plan to use, if applicable, to ensure comfort and fit.
The choice between mittens and gloves for skiing often depends on personal preference and the conditions you'll be skiing in. Mittens typically provide more warmth since they keep fingers together, reducing heat loss, while gloves offer better dexterity for handling equipment. Consider the climate and your activities on the slopes when deciding which style suits you best.
The best materials for snow gloves used in skiing typically include waterproof and breathable fabrics like Gore-Tex or similar technologies. Insulation materials such as down or synthetic fibers provide warmth without adding bulk. Additionally, durable outer materials are important to withstand wear and tear from skiing activities.
To ensure your snow gloves are durable for skiing, look for gloves made with high-quality materials and reinforced stitching. Features like reinforced palms and fingertips can enhance durability, especially in high-wear areas. Regularly checking for signs of wear and caring for your gloves properly can also extend their lifespan.
When skiing in extreme cold, prioritize gloves with high insulation ratings and excellent waterproofing. Look for gloves that offer additional features like wrist cinches to keep warmth in and snow out. It's also beneficial to choose gloves with a soft lining for added comfort and warmth during long periods on the slopes.
