I have a pair of these in the 3 finger claw type, they are my colder weather ski gloves. I got these for my teen kid since we go ski in colder temps( under 20F). These are nice and toasty and keep kid's hands warmer than the Scott gloves which are great for above 25F. I was able to get for the same price as Amazon so picking up at Dick's House of Sport was easy and we got to use them the next day. My pair of Hestras are going strong 5+ years later and still fine. At$ 110 the features Hestra should provide but does n't on these gloves were wrist tethers and a clip to keep the pair together( provided on their more expensive gloves) I added both myself which is easy to do. Even though they are expensive I think they will last years and years. Make sure to put the leather conditioner on the leather sections to keep them in good shape( it is sold separately).

I got these for my son who spends a lot of time either shoveling the snow or playing with my grandson in the snow. We have had a lot of below zero windchills, and it becomes very dangerous for frostbite without the proper gloves. He absolutely loves these! He says they are the best gloves in below zero windchills! When temps are less harsh, and he takes my grandson outside to play in the snow, he says his hands are nice and warm! I highly reconnend these gloves for outside play and below zero windchills.

I purchased these for myself at 50% off. I would recommend these at that price point, but not at$ 20. The xl size is a bit smaller than other xl gloves, and wo n't fit a liner glove for skiing. Good for cold weather activities, but not extreme conditions. If you need extreme weather all day skiing gloves, consider something else. But for sunny, dry, seasonable skiing conditions these will work for the price. I use them for southern winter lake fishing/ boating, and for the price... I 'm satisfied.

I was expecting those gloves to be good, but they absolutely exceeded my expectations. The first time I wore them, I was outside for six hours in steady rain and near- freezing temperatures. My hands were the driest part of me. Not that these are waterproof- they aren't- but the grid fleece on the backs of the hands wicks and breathes so well that my body heat dried the gloves faster than they could get wet. My hands stayed warm and dry, and the fingers were still dextrous enough that I could work outside. Love these and will be buying more, plus anything else made of Vigor Plus fleece that I can get my hands on. Big improvement in fit over the previous year's model as well.

Took these on trail and they kept my fingers warm in a cold rain. I like the fit, the feel, but glad it did not rain the next day because they did not dry fast at all. Did not expect waterproof of course, but was hoping they would be useful again without a dryer. Taking something else for days long hiking next time, but these are still nice, keeping for different scenarios, hikes closer to home.

These gloves keep your hand dried very well. I have n't used under several weather yet, so I am not sure about waterproof from rain& snow yet. I used these at 10~15 degrees C, and my hands held some sweat. These gloves alone would be good between- 10~10 degree C. You would need extra thermal gears under- 10C. I felt the size runs a little large as I break in. You could do half size down if you want tight fits.

Bought for husband when outside particularly when using the snow blower. Has worn them outside but it hasn ’ t been insanely cold yet, only in the mid 20s. So not really tested in a true New England snow storm. So far so good.

I previously owned golding rocker chairs and they are showing their age. I have seen the exact chairs at a few different place we shop. I decided to go back to Dicks for the chairs because in my opinion they have a better selection than most. Dick ’s had numerous styles and colors to pick from. Plus of course alot of the Texans merchandise was on sell do I had to indulge myself.

I needed a pair of gloves for the sub zero weather we have been having here in Illinois. I did not want mittens and wanted a durable pair for the Shoveling, snowblowing and car pushing out of the snow banks. Kept the hands warm, the palms of the gloves still look brand new. Sometimes, paying a little is just the right move.

I think these are great gloves… I had tried my daughters pair that had the different grip than these ones and really liked them so ordered these ones so they wouldn ’ t be entirely the same. These ones have dots on the palms instead. I consider myself to have bigger sized hands so sized up to a large. I definitely should ’ ve gotten the med! The fingers are too long for me and look funny to me. So I ’ m definitely just going to exchange for the med! They ’ re very frilly and work great on my iPhone. Just be careful with sizing! The med feel sung but not too tight. I had to pull them over my hands which is why I sized up thinking they ’ d just be slightly bigger. Overall I recommend these gloves!

My Son prefers mittens to gloves. Says it allows his fingers more wiggle room. He absolutely loved these and they kept his hands warm, which is great because he suffers from Cold Urticaria( an allergy to the cold). One of the things he REALLY loved was the drawstring to keep it attached to your hands/wrist. Said it was genius, although, I do n't think he's ever realized most have them.

[ The Wells Lamont HydraHyde insulated gloves are perfect for cold weather hand protection. The leather repels moisture but stays flexible. The insulation keeps hands warm in cold weather. I could n't decide between the snow gloves and the premium gloves and just decided to try the cheaper ones first to see if they heated up enough for a Wisconsin winter. Yuppers, they do. So with the money I saved not buying the snow gloves, I got some more 5volt batteries, so my hands do n't every get cold if I can help it. Shoveling snow or brushing off my car I wear these gloves and they have n't let me down yet.

I usually buy the Grabber hand warmers during the winter in order to slip them inside my gloves to keep my hands warm. When I saw these heated gloves in the store, I thought it was such a clever idea. It saves me money and I feel better about not using so many disposable hand warmers. The battery packs are slim and not even noticeable inside the zippered pocket on the cuffs. They are convenient and easy to use and recharge.

I work outside throughout the winter and the hardest thing to do is keep my fingers warm when it gets 20 degrees or less. I decided to try these mittens for the times I do n't need fingers( gloves). They are excellent. I added a Hot Hands hand warmer to each mitten and they kept my fingers toasty. I could even take the mittens off, use my fingers to put some nuts on bolts, and put the mittens back on.... No problem. No more painfully cold fingers.

Finally found a pair of mittens that have a removable liner( for washing) that stays put when you put mittens on and off. Fleece liner is comfortable, not bunchy, and so warm. Cuffs are comfortable and make these extra warm. Adjustable strap makes the fit just right. I have very cold hands and these are the best mittens I 've found. Also love the tough exterior on the palm side-- seem like they will be long lasting. Hestra is my new favorite brand-- I also bought the white leather ones for cross- country skiing.

When selecting warm ski gloves, consider insulation materials that provide effective heat retention while remaining lightweight. Look for waterproof and breathable fabrics to keep your hands dry and comfortable during extended use. Additionally, features like adjustable cuffs and reinforced palms can enhance fit and grip, making your skiing experience more enjoyable.
Warm ski gloves are specifically designed for cold weather sports, offering enhanced insulation and protection against moisture. They often feature specialized materials that provide better grip and dexterity for handling ski poles and equipment. Additionally, ski gloves may include extra padding and ergonomic designs to support the unique movements involved in skiing.
Common insulation types for warm ski gloves include synthetic materials like Thinsulate and down feathers, both of which offer excellent warmth-to-weight ratios. Synthetic insulation tends to perform better in wet conditions, while down provides superior warmth but can lose its insulating properties when wet. Choosing the right insulation depends on your skiing environment and personal preferences.
Yes, warm ski gloves come in various styles tailored for different weather conditions. For extremely cold weather, mittens may provide better warmth as they allow fingers to share heat. Conversely, gloves with individual finger compartments offer more dexterity, making them suitable for milder conditions or when precision is needed.
The fit of warm ski gloves is crucial for both comfort and performance. A snug fit helps retain warmth and allows for better control while skiing, while too loose a fit can lead to cold air entering and reduced dexterity. It's essential to try on gloves and ensure they allow for movement without being overly tight.
