I have a pair of these in the 3 finger claw type, they are my colder weather ski gloves. I got these for my teen kid since we go ski in colder temps( under 20F). These are nice and toasty and keep kid's hands warmer than the Scott gloves which are great for above 25F. I was able to get for the same price as Amazon so picking up at Dick's House of Sport was easy and we got to use them the next day. My pair of Hestras are going strong 5+ years later and still fine. At$ 110 the features Hestra should provide but does n't on these gloves were wrist tethers and a clip to keep the pair together( provided on their more expensive gloves) I added both myself which is easy to do. Even though they are expensive I think they will last years and years. Make sure to put the leather conditioner on the leather sections to keep them in good shape( it is sold separately).

I love these gloves, they are so warm! I use them on their own hiking while splitboarding and as a liner for really cold days in the resort. The Small size fit my small hands very well... I have borderline kid size hands and they still fit me pretty well. I was able to use my phone with the gloves on my hands. Highly recommended if you want warm hands!
5
L
I was expecting those gloves to be good, but they absolutely exceeded my expectations. The first time I wore them, I was outside for six hours in steady rain and near- freezing temperatures. My hands were the driest part of me. Not that these are waterproof- they aren't- but the grid fleece on the backs of the hands wicks and breathes so well that my body heat dried the gloves faster than they could get wet. My hands stayed warm and dry, and the fingers were still dextrous enough that I could work outside. Love these and will be buying more, plus anything else made of Vigor Plus fleece that I can get my hands on. Big improvement in fit over the previous year's model as well.

Took these on trail and they kept my fingers warm in a cold rain. I like the fit, the feel, but glad it did not rain the next day because they did not dry fast at all. Did not expect waterproof of course, but was hoping they would be useful again without a dryer. Taking something else for days long hiking next time, but these are still nice, keeping for different scenarios, hikes closer to home.

5
Nikia
I think these are great gloves… I had tried my daughters pair that had the different grip than these ones and really liked them so ordered these ones so they wouldn ’ t be entirely the same. These ones have dots on the palms instead. I consider myself to have bigger sized hands so sized up to a large. I definitely should ’ ve gotten the med! The fingers are too long for me and look funny to me. So I ’ m definitely just going to exchange for the med! They ’ re very frilly and work great on my iPhone. Just be careful with sizing! The med feel sung but not too tight. I had to pull them over my hands which is why I sized up thinking they ’ d just be slightly bigger. Overall I recommend these gloves!

I could n't decide between the snow gloves and the premium gloves and just decided to try the cheaper ones first to see if they heated up enough for a Wisconsin winter. Yuppers, they do. So with the money I saved not buying the snow gloves, I got some more 5volt batteries, so my hands do n't every get cold if I can help it. Shoveling snow or brushing off my car I wear these gloves and they have n't let me down yet.

I usually buy the Grabber hand warmers during the winter in order to slip them inside my gloves to keep my hands warm. When I saw these heated gloves in the store, I thought it was such a clever idea. It saves me money and I feel better about not using so many disposable hand warmers. The battery packs are slim and not even noticeable inside the zippered pocket on the cuffs. They are convenient and easy to use and recharge.

I still love these gloves and will continue to use them. HOWEVER, I did gain some more experience with them. Doing astrophotography in Arches in 21 degree weather taught me that I 'll need to add another layer and use hand warmers with these. They were fine while the blood was pumping, but when it came to waiting around, my fingers got numb. They would be perfectly fine for anything above 32 degrees. The pull tabs and large openings made it easy to get my hands in and out quickly. Adjusts at the wrist and opening for a tighter fit.

They also seem to be sufficiently waterproof as I had no issues with water getting in or soggy mittens. The leather palms are also decently grippy which was a pleasant surprise. My only minor complaints are less than ideal dexterity( though that is to be expected with mittens) and there is n't a clip included to keep the mittens together when not in use. Overall these are wonderfully warm mittens and well worth the price!

[ I finally broke down to buy proper winter mittens and chose these as I love my Hestra ski gloves. They are soft and warm, keeping my fingers relatively comfortable in 5 degree Wisconsin weather. They are a bit bulky, but I can still shove them in the pockets of my heavy winter jacket. They work well for sledding, walking around, etc. I would prefer a slightly longer, larger wrist so they can go up over the jacket to keep snow from getting in. But otherwise I am very pleased. They are certainly better than anything I have owned thus far( save for my Hestra ski gloves) for serious winter outdoor time.

When searching for quality women's snow gloves, consider features such as insulation for warmth, waterproof or water-resistant materials to keep hands dry, and breathability to prevent moisture buildup. Look for adjustable cuffs to ensure a snug fit and prevent snow from entering. Additionally, grip-enhancing palms can improve dexterity and control while handling equipment or gear.
To determine the right size for women's snow gloves, start by measuring the circumference of your hand just below the knuckles, excluding the thumb. Use a measuring tape or a piece of string to get the measurement, then compare it to the sizing chart provided by the manufacturer. Additionally, consider the length of your fingers, as some styles may have specific fit recommendations based on finger length. Trying on gloves with the intended base layers can also help ensure a comfortable fit.
High-quality women's snow gloves often feature materials designed for warmth, waterproofing, and breathability. Common materials include GORE-TEX or similar waterproof membranes that keep hands dry while allowing moisture to escape. Insulation materials like synthetic fibers or down provide warmth without adding bulk. Additionally, durable outer fabrics are used to resist wear and tear from snow and cold conditions.
Insulated gloves are designed to provide additional warmth in snowy conditions by trapping heat and preventing cold air from entering. The insulation material used can vary, affecting the level of warmth and comfort. Many insulated gloves also feature waterproof or water-resistant materials to keep hands dry, which is essential for maintaining warmth in wet, snowy environments. Overall, insulated gloves are a popular choice for those seeking to stay warm while enjoying winter activities.
Waterproof women's snow gloves are designed to keep moisture out completely, making them ideal for wet conditions such as heavy snowfall or rain. They typically feature specialized materials and sealed seams to prevent water from penetrating. On the other hand, water-resistant gloves can repel light moisture but may not withstand prolonged exposure to wet conditions. These gloves are suitable for drier, colder environments where some moisture protection is needed but not complete waterproofing.
When choosing women's snow gloves for skiing versus snowboarding, consider the specific activities and conditions you'll encounter. Ski gloves typically offer a more streamlined fit and may prioritize dexterity for handling ski poles, while snowboarding gloves often feature a looser fit and additional insulation for warmth during longer periods in colder conditions. Look for waterproof materials and insulation levels that match your personal comfort preferences and the climate you'll be in. Additionally, features like wrist straps and gauntlet designs can enhance fit and keep snow out, which is important for both sports.
Women's snow gloves come in various styles tailored for different activities. For skiing and snowboarding, you can find insulated gloves designed to provide warmth and dexterity, often featuring waterproof materials. For general winter wear, there are stylish options that combine fashion with functionality, while some gloves are specifically designed for activities like snowshoeing or winter hiking, offering enhanced grip and flexibility. Additionally, gauntlet-style gloves provide extra coverage and protection against the elements, making them suitable for more extreme conditions.
Breathability is an important feature in women's snow gloves as it helps regulate temperature and moisture inside the glove. When engaging in winter activities, hands can sweat, and breathable materials allow this moisture to escape, keeping hands dry and comfortable. This is especially beneficial during high-intensity activities like skiing or snowboarding, where maintaining warmth without overheating is crucial. Choosing gloves with good breathability can enhance overall performance and enjoyment in cold weather conditions.
When selecting women's snow gloves, consider the fit and insulation to ensure comfort during cold weather activities. Look for gloves that offer a snug yet flexible fit, allowing for ease of movement while keeping hands warm. Additionally, materials that provide breathability can help manage moisture, while features like adjustable cuffs can enhance the overall comfort by preventing snow from entering. Lastly, consider the glove's lining, as a soft and cozy interior can significantly improve comfort during extended wear.
