[ These gloves are warm, durable, and windproof, making them perfect for cold ski days. The CZone insert keeps hands dry and comfortable, while the grippy palm provides excellent grip for holding poles. The three- finger design is a great balance between warmth and dexterity, keeping fingers toasty even on windy chairlift rides. With a long cuff and snow lock, they seal out the elements, and the reinforced fingertips add durability where it matters most. A solid choice for skiers and snowboarders who want warmth without losing control.

5 SteveinOttawa
These are fantastic! I 'm normally a gloves guy but I bought these for very cold conditions and they did not disappoint. The fit is excellent. They kept my hands warm for two hours on a snowmobile at- 18C( without grip heaters). I like the snug cuffs, they fit under my coat sleeve and keep the snow out. Time will tell but they seem durable and well constructed.

5 Anthony G
I 've been using these gloves 2- 3 times weekly for around 4 months now. They 're starting to show some wear on the palms, but I believe that's on me for not treating the leather first. These gloves have keep my hands warm in temps as low as- 25° with the wind chill added. Still very efficient even when my hands got sweaty in them.

5 Richard B
Super high quality materials and construction. The majority of the mit is a really nice quality leather with great feel. Elastic cuff is fairly snug pulling them on but gives nice closure and feel once on.

5 Lucas D
As a ski instructor these mittens did the job perfectly. Worn in temperatures ranging from- 15°F to 40°F with no issues. The leather feels premium and the overall look of the gloves is great.

5 CO_Native
I bought these mittens for a snowshoeing trip that ended up being very windy and very cold. Despite the less than ideal conditions, my hands stayed toasty warm the entire trip. These mittens are very lightweight, but kept the wind out very well. There were even a few times along the trail were I had to take them off for a few seconds because my hands we too hot! They also seem to be sufficiently waterproof as I had no issues with water getting in or soggy mittens. The leather palms are also decently grippy which was a pleasant surprise. My only minor complaints are less than ideal dexterity( though that is to be expected with mittens) and there is n't a clip included to keep the mittens together when not in use. Overall these are wonderfully warm mittens and well worth the price!

5 C in Chi
[ Wore the gloves for two hours while sledding with my kids in 26 degree weather. My hands stayed extremely warm the whole time. I ’ ve gone through 6 pairs of gloves the last two years and everything let my hands freezing after a short time.

5 ericas
[ I finally broke down to buy proper winter mittens and chose these as I love my Hestra ski gloves. They are soft and warm, keeping my fingers relatively comfortable in 5 degree Wisconsin weather. They are a bit bulky, but I can still shove them in the pockets of my heavy winter jacket. They work well for sledding, walking around, etc. I would prefer a slightly longer, larger wrist so they can go up over the jacket to keep snow from getting in. But otherwise I am very pleased. They are certainly better than anything I have owned thus far( save for my Hestra ski gloves) for serious winter outdoor time.

5 Steve
[ I wore the mitts to the Lincoln Park Zoo Christmas Light showing. The temp was in the teens, but my hands stayed warm. What more do you need.

5 MPOSH
[ These gloves are amazing. They keep your hands warm for the coldest of days during the Chicago winters. Highly recommend and worth the cost.

Frequently Asked Questions For Best Womens Mittens for Cold Weather

When searching for the best women's mittens for cold weather, consider features such as insulation type, waterproofing, and breathability. Look for materials that provide warmth without bulk, as well as a comfortable fit that allows for mobility. Additionally, consider mittens with adjustable cuffs to keep out snow and cold air.

The materials used in women's mittens can significantly impact their warmth and comfort. Natural fibers like wool provide excellent insulation and moisture-wicking properties, while synthetic materials can offer durability and weather resistance. A combination of materials often enhances both warmth and comfort, making them suitable for various cold weather activities.

Mittens are generally better for keeping hands warm in cold weather because they allow fingers to share warmth, reducing heat loss. However, gloves offer more dexterity, which can be beneficial for certain activities. The choice between mittens and gloves often depends on the specific use case and personal preference.

Women's mittens designed for cold weather are ideal for a variety of activities, including skiing, snowboarding, and winter hiking. They provide the necessary warmth and protection needed for outdoor sports, as well as casual wear during cold months. Consider the specific design features that enhance performance for your intended activity.

To ensure a proper fit when choosing women's mittens for cold weather, measure your hand size and refer to the sizing charts provided by manufacturers. It's important to try on mittens with the type of base layer you plan to wear, as this can affect fit and comfort. Look for mittens with adjustable features to customize the fit around your wrist.
