[ I got these for my wife. She said: I am a working mom of 7 young kids and I like to keep in shape both for my physical health as well as my mental health( and sanity!) and I need workout gear that can withstand a lot of wear and tear as well as make me feel good while wearing it. These high waisted running leggings really fit the bill! I used them around the house to get tasks done as well as for both for short( 1- 2mile) and long( 5+ mile) runs. There are both pros and cons to this model- the PROS: 1) the material is SO comfortable and has the perfect blend of stretch and compression. 2) the fabric weight is ideal for spring running- it breaths but it also holds in heat so my legs felt great for the duration of each run 3) The pockets are positioned so I could be hands free and still keep my essentials( like phone and energy gel packs) accessible during the run. 4) the waistband is thick so there is not a small single circle of pressure on my abdomen, which is an improvement from other brands I 've tried 5) there is no seam or pressure point anywhere on the tights that was uncomfortable, so I did n't experience any rubbing or discomfort for the duration of wearing them ever! There are only a couple CONS: 1) I felt they run a bit small, especially in the waist. I know they are intended for compression, but getting them on required a bit of discomfort, especially at the top of the waist- it is exceptionally small. I 'd recommend sizing up if you have a larger waist or prefer more room on the waistline. Since they are high rise, it definitely `` cuts '' into the area under your rib- cage at first and is tricky to pull up. Once I got them up, they were fine and they stayed in place perfectly, but I might size up if I buy a second pair for this reason 2) I feel they are a bit long to be considered 7/8 length( I 'm 5' 8 '' 125 lbs)- they fit more like a traditional legging, which was fine for my use but if I truly wanted 7/8 length I 'd say they are longer than that. Overall these are great leggings for running- they stay in place, keep me cool, held up to washes and wear and tear and still look new, and fit comfortably with no rubbing. I 'd definitely recommend them for anyone who wants to run!

[ The Nike Universa Women's Medium- Support High- Waisted Leggings blew my mind the moment I slid them on. They were buttery soft and fit like a glove. Sometimes leggings can be a little suffocating with how tight they are, and these were different. They are a high- waisted legging that shapes your waist nicely without squeezing you too tight. I find myself more self- conscious when I 'm taking yoga or doing pilates because my leggings are making my stomach look unflattering or rolling over. I was honestly surprised how great they fit. I think I was most surprised by the length. Typically, when I read something is full length, I am a little skeptical because they do n't always fulfill that full- length promise. Fortunately for me, these did not disappoint. Being 5 ’ 9 ”, I have pretty long legs, and typically, leggings run short on me, but I love that this hit my ankle exactly where I would like it to. Not to mention, the super conveniently placed side pocket where I can fit anything from my ID, keys, or my phone comfortably. There ’s even a pocket on the back waistband that I didn ’ t even notice because it ’s so discreetly designed. Besides always having issues with the length of leggings, another important factor I check for in a good pair of leggings is if they 're squat- proof. I work out at least 4 times a week, and I have tested these leggings out thoroughly, and to my surprise, I can say they are not see- through one bit. I love knowing that I can wear these to yoga and fold in all kinds of positions without feeling worried about my leggings being see- through. And an added bonus, they are very good at staying in place and do not fold over at the top. During my pilates classes, they stayed up and never folded and I was able to focus in class without my attention being drawn to having to fix or constantly pull up my leggings. These leggings are truly a dream. Even down to the design. It is classic and modern but extremely functional. I even love the monochromatic Nike check logo on the backside of the calf. It ’s so discreet, but when you find it, it ’s such a cool surprise. Even the decision to have the bottom edges of the legs be seamless is so appreciated. I don ’ t find when I take these leggings off that it leaves dents in my skin or isn ’ t lightly cutting off circulation in areas. It truly feels like I ’ m covering my legs with a cloud. You can tell these leggings were designed with the intention of being flattering, while still being functional and comfortable. It is truly hard to find leggings that have it all, and these definitely do. I think the only negative thing I can think of is that I didn ’ t get these in every color, but I have every intention to. I find myself wanting to wear them every day, whether it's to work out, to run errands, or everything else in between. Even as much as I ’ ve already worn them, they still feel like brand new. These have instantly become my new favorite pair of leggings that I own, by far.

[ Right out of the package I fell I love with the feel of these leggings…they are buttery soft! Putting them on I realized they ’ ll definitely be my favorite leggings. They have slight compression to them but not so much that they feel super tight. The seams in them feel nonexistent. The way the gusset is made makes the inseam fit perfect without any riding up, pinching or pulling. Even as a short girl these are the perfect length. As a plus size girl it can sometimes be hard to find leggings that can accommodate midsection weight without the legs fitting in an odd fashion…these nailed the overall fit perfectly. I would 100% recommend these to all of my girl friends.

They were of course tight when I opened the package and held them up so I was a bit apprehensive about how comfortable I would actually feel once I got them on. But I tried them on and to my surprise they felt great! As a plus size beauty I try to stay away from fitted bottoms because I ’ m not proud of my cellulite showing on my thighs. These tights helped to hide that way better than some other brands/materials I tried. Ever since I ’ ve gained weight I also tend to buy items that have a high rise. These however are mid rise and they felt really good. The only thing I was missing with this was pockets, which is a feature I ’ ve been looking for when shopping for leggings. I ’ m a die hard Nike Sculpt legging kind of girl and these are the closest I can get to them! They are made of tightly knit fabric which give the perfect compression- sucks everything in and stops the jiggling! After hours of wearing them I find they do not stretch out and keep their shape and compression. I find the deep curve waist band flattens the stomach which I find incredibly flattering too! I feel more supported and compressed without wearing shape wear. The waist band has maybe an inch and a half elastic sewn into it and the jury is still out on that. I can not make up my mind if I like it or if I don ’ t like it. I do think the elastic helps them from slipping so much though. Overall I think they ’ re a great buy minimal slipping while moving, excellent fabric, NON see through fabric and they are durable!
