I use this hat whenever I have to go outside for more than 5 minutes. The brim is extra wide and extra long in how it wraps around your head. I have a degenerative eye disease and am also quite photophobic so this hat is a godsend. Not only does it shield my face completely from the sun all the way around from ear to ear, the sides of the brim are out of the normal field of vision so it does not distract from my ability to see peripherally. FABULOUS HAT. I 'm buying a second color today.

I pair this visor with earmuffs when I wear my parka with the hood up. I wanted to shade my face and eyes from the sun. I needed a visor that did n't wrap half way around my head and was flexible enough to let my parka hood come around my face. This visor is perfect for that. The wide ban also keep my hair out of my face.

I love how this hat fits into my pocket or my purse since the brims folds! I have two little kids under the age of 3 so it is great to have it stow so quickly and easily. It is REALLY comfortable where it sits on my head, the fabric is soft and does not feel tight or give me a headache. It is hard to find a hat that holds up to little kids playing with it, AND be super comfortable to wear all day AND still be a great price. This hat is fantastic!!! My husband and I purchased our visors while on a road trip and I like them so much that I have stolen his. They are great for my pickleball matches and wash in the machine beautifully. The lightweight fabric is cool, soft and still looks new after multiple washings. Will definitely replace them if and when the time comes. Excellent value!

Only had about a month but feel like I 've pushed it hard. Really enjoying this for trail running and backpacking. Definitely cooler than a full hat, especially when wearing under a sun hoodie. Stretches nicely, does a good job at managing sweat drip. Stays comfortable when wearing all day. Can still blow off if you 're not careful. my daughters tell me it looks dorky, but they say that about a lot of things...
