I kind of thought that with the price being as low as it is, this would not be that great of a product. I was wrong, it has delivered so far. I am over 200 Lbs. and was concerened it would be flimsy. So far it is sturdy, a bit squeaky but that is to be expected. The electronics keep you up to date on all kinds of information while you work out. Very cool product, especially if you are not sure how much you might use it. Yes there are better machines at the gym and for sale, but this is not a bad move if you are starting out!!

Good product, the only thing I do n't like about it is the electronic display has to use batteries, it does n't allow the option to be plugged in. I already have over 5000 rows on it in less than a couple weeks and it's still working great.

Assembly was strait forward with all parts, hardware and simple tools provided.( Note that some screws and washers are preinstalled so do n't panic when inventorying hardware.) Was pleasantly surprised at how robust the rower is. The hydraulic cylinder provides just enough resistance for the intended user( seniors). I would highly recommend this rower! It was packaged so nicely and compact that there was no extra freight charge. It was very easy to assemble. One trim piece didn ’ t fit exactly right, so I had to trim it slightly, but was fine. Didn ’ t know if I would like the rowing arms on this machine, but I absolutely love them. This is a great no impact workout. Felt my posture was improved almost immediately after beginning using this machine. Love that it can also store upright, making it great for smaller spaces.

The rowing machine arrived with a gash in the package and the metal shroud around the Magnet was bent. During assembly I was able to bend the shroud back into shape, thus removing the risk of injury during the use of the machine. Once assembled the machine worked smoothly. In regards to the damage during transport I had very prompt and competent interactions with both the seller and the manufacturer. Obviously, the damage was caused by neither of them, I got it fixed quickly and I enjoy the machine. I was happy with both the purchase process and the quality of the product.

I ’ m very happy with it. It is very strudy and the seat is very comfortable. Usually most rowers skimp on the seats. Also the foot pedals are nice the straps keep them tight and the swivel movement keep your feet sturdy but comfortable. The machine is very smooth and quiet. The good: free shipping, good packaging, easy setup( took about 25 min), seems well built and sturdy. the not so good: foot peddle straps, rowing handle seems narrow. I have broad shoulders and I feel I would get more motion if the bar was slightly wider. Overall: I am happy with my purchase. It seems to be a good `` middle of the road '' rower without breaking the bank. At first I thought the resistance was n't going to be enough however after 10 minutes you can feel the burn.

[ I spent a solid researching rowers( from online reviews to customer opinions to pros/cons of water vs chain vs magnetic resistance). While a Concept 2 was desirable, the price was not! Finally, it was a informational video on Instagram by `` trainingtall '' that convinced me to go with chain/fan resistance rower. Sure, water rowers are quieter and have that soothing sound of rushing water, but you have to worry about( a) adding/removing water to change resistance,( b) make sure you use water conditioner to prevent mold and( c) the risk of eventual leaks. With a fan- based chain rower( as opposed to magnetic), there's no need for a variable settings because the level resistance is determined by how hard you pull. Sure, it's definitely louder but the wind generated by the fan is a welcome benefit for someone like me who tends to sweat more than most during exercise. The unit was very easy to assemble by myself and came with all of the parts and tools I needed. After a few minor seat adjustments to eliminate a slight wobble, I was ready to go in under 45 minutes. I like that the moveable, flexing foot rests have nylon pull straps rather than Velcro( which tends to wear out after extended use). The seat is comfortable and glides smoothly( back- and- forth) along the rail. I purchased an 8' exercise mat to go underneath after watching a YouTube workout video of the Stamina X on a bare floor and seeing how much it moved. With the mat, the rower stays put! I will agree with most of the reviews I 've read- the LCD monitor is pretty basic and rudimentary. It's also at an angle that makes the screen very hard to read( even in bright light). I use it strictly for watching my stroke count and strokes per minute- which it does well. To monitor my heart rate and to get a more accurate assessment of calories burned, I wear a Polar H10 strap connected to an old phone( Velcro 'd to the front of the rail( just below the LCD display). I 've been using the rower for 3 weeks now and I 've been very pleased. It's feels very solid and stable with no wobble whatsoever. I kind of wish the pull bar was a bit wider, but that's just me nitpicking!

BIG fan of this rower. It folds up nicely if you do n't have much space for it, but it is also fairly small and condensed so you can fit it anywhere while it's unfolded. Super smooth pulls, great digital screen, easy setup. I highly recommend, especially for winter months when you ca n't leave the house, or with kids!
