Received my new recumbent cross trainer( SBE420035) 3/08/2025. Packaging is terrific. Every piece is individually wrapped, nothing rattled, and every piece was pristine. This is an awesome item. Functions like a much more expensive cross trainer. Smooth, quiet, electronics work, and Sunny Fit App is excellent. I can actually connect my cross trainer via bluetooth to the app and there are a myriad things to do. I would not hesitate to buy it again. Assembly is n't bad but the instructions in the booklet are confusing. Too many small numbers and letters and pictures. The video is better. There was a one of 4 screws that did not fit properly in the mounting hardware and my display ended up in a crooked position. I bought this rower during the pandemic and it's been my go- to ever since. I never had any issues, even when I transported it from state to state when I moved. I only wish there were classes to take that can record my progress. It does have programs already but not what I was looking for but I still love this machine! I once considered the Concept 2, but this rower had the best price.

[ I spent a solid researching rowers( from online reviews to customer opinions to pros/cons of water vs chain vs magnetic resistance). While a Concept 2 was desirable, the price was not! Finally, it was a informational video on Instagram by `` trainingtall '' that convinced me to go with chain/fan resistance rower. Sure, water rowers are quieter and have that soothing sound of rushing water, but you have to worry about( a) adding/removing water to change resistance,( b) make sure you use water conditioner to prevent mold and( c) the risk of eventual leaks. With a fan- based chain rower( as opposed to magnetic), there's no need for a variable settings because the level resistance is determined by how hard you pull. Sure, it's definitely louder but the wind generated by the fan is a welcome benefit for someone like me who tends to sweat more than most during exercise. The unit was very easy to assemble by myself and came with all of the parts and tools I needed. After a few minor seat adjustments to eliminate a slight wobble, I was ready to go in under 45 minutes. I like that the moveable, flexing foot rests have nylon pull straps rather than Velcro( which tends to wear out after extended use). The seat is comfortable and glides smoothly( back- and- forth) along the rail. I purchased an 8' exercise mat to go underneath after watching a YouTube workout video of the Stamina X on a bare floor and seeing how much it moved. With the mat, the rower stays put! I will agree with most of the reviews I 've read- the LCD monitor is pretty basic and rudimentary. It's also at an angle that makes the screen very hard to read( even in bright light). I use it strictly for watching my stroke count and strokes per minute- which it does well. To monitor my heart rate and to get a more accurate assessment of calories burned, I wear a Polar H10 strap connected to an old phone( Velcro 'd to the front of the rail( just below the LCD display). I 've been using the rower for 3 weeks now and I 've been very pleased. It's feels very solid and stable with no wobble whatsoever. I kind of wish the pull bar was a bit wider, but that's just me nitpicking!

BIG fan of this rower. It folds up nicely if you do n't have much space for it, but it is also fairly small and condensed so you can fit it anywhere while it's unfolded. Super smooth pulls, great digital screen, easy setup. I highly recommend, especially for winter months when you ca n't leave the house, or with kids!

[ So far so good. The only problem we 've had was with the directions. Some of the pieces were already installed. We do n't have any burning issues as we are in our 70's and do n't row that fast or that long. I do use a seat cushion though. It truly is like rowing a boat.

So far so good. Assembly was a challenge by myself but managed to figure it out with some help from a wall. Have been using for a couple weeks now with no issues. It is a little short for me( 6' 4 '') so might try to figure a way to move the foot rests back a bit to gain a couple extra inches. The resistance is fine, it's a little noisy but does n't drown out the TV any more than my old elliptical did. As long as it holds up, use it weekdays for 10 minutes at a time, I 'll be satisfied.

I love my new rower, Phantom Hydro from Sunny Health. I did so much research on something that gave you a good workout, that was sturdy and of great quality, really nice and simple. The assembly was more complicated than I expected( it took me an hour to get it fully out of the box and assembled), but it was worth it once I got the whole machine together. I was only able to do 2 minutes on it my first time and my thighs had a good burn going! I also felt it in my lats, shoulders, biceps, and my core a bit, just after 2 minutes on it. I like that you can adjust the resistance and the seat easily. I have n't tried the resistance band cables yet, but I 'm looking forward to it to target my inner and outer thighs like it shows in the video. This machine does n't feel like a beginner machine- I work out already, and like I said, after just 2 minutes on resistance 3, I had to take a break and my legs were burning! If you 're a beginner, you may have to work up to being able to be on it for several minutes at a time. It gets your heart pumping, too!
