I bought this soft toss machine. It tosses baseball or softball to a batter. It runs off a 12 volt rechargeable battery. I have a 20 year old one I bought brand new. It works perfect after all these years. I replaced the batter every so often. I had to replace the arm on it after the 12 year. I called jugs for the part. I sent them the picture of my old machine and model# they sent me the arm free of charge. I own 3 today because I coach and do camps. I have zero issues with any of then except replacing the battery's. I found a good trick to preserving the battery's. I bought a trickle charger at harbor freight. I hooked up this trickle charger to the battery. I drilled a hole for the wire to come out of the machine. I then put a connection on the outside for the charger. I plug in my machine at night when not in use to the trickle charger. My battery's last 2 to 3 years and ready to go any time with out over charging my battery's. I made wooden cases for my machine with foam inside for safe travel. Work horse machine. Love jugs machines. All there products are quality stuff. I only by jugs products.

A big factor in choosing this over other machines was the ability to go anywhere without being confined to an electric outlet. The machine is surprisingly consistent and we are utilizing both Heater balls and baseballs. You do lose a little speed and distance when using actually baseballs but that was expected and easily adjusted for. So far pop fly and pitching settings have been great. Haven ’ t utilized ground ball settings yet. The key to proper use is being consistent with how you set the arm while loading and maintaining a consistent steady pull each time. Would recommend this if in the market for a pitching machine and not wanting to spend a fortune.

Everything about this machine is 5 star. So good for teaching kids to hit live pitching. So much fun for backyard baseball. I am not sure who loves it more, the dad's or the kids. Also, jugs is such a top notch company. All of their products are over built in terms of quality. Their spare parts are cheap and easy to find when something breaks. I absolutely would n't but a machine from another brand. My one piece of advice is that the Jugs brand balls wear out quickly, are very expensive, and soak up water. We use Athletic brand foam balls and they work perfectly without the problems.

It ’s a bit of work to switch the legs back and forth from the baseball to softball ones so you pretty need to do one or the other in one session. My daughter feels like the low profile legs give her pretty realistic look at how pitches come at her on the games which is a huge plus compared to having hit her off the baseball machines. It was a bit pricey being$ 500 over the machine that throws 60 mph( this one is 70) so I hope my kids are still using it when they face that velocity. I would recommend product!

Bought this for a Christmas gift for our son after some problems getting set up due to the company that was scheduled to set it up the manager at the Bel Air Md store who took care of the issue and got it taken care of 4 days before Christmas. The first guy that was scheduled to deliver and set up came at 4pm and brought it in the house and then proceeded to tell us it was too late and we will have to reschedule, this was the 18th of December, after no return call from this company I stopped in my local Dicks store and spoke with the manager, he called back later that day and it was set up and ready to go 2 days before Christmas. Set up took about 6 hours with 2 guys who do this for a living, I would recommend paying the extra for set up. The machine itself is very well- built solid equipment, does so many different things, make sure you measure your space. It does not come with weights, so you have to buy them separately. So far, my son and husband are happy with the machine.

This is exactly what it says it is. Perfect pitching machine for the smaller golf ball sized balls. My son and I hit wiffle golf balls before every game to get hes eyes on the ball. This machine is perfect for that, indoor or out door. I live in the Cleveland area so its pretty windy and this pitches through it no problem. I enjoy hitting off it as well. I 've only been using this for four weeks. The product is sturdy and well constructed. The nylon strap looks and feels like it will provide lasting use. The handle is easy to grip and comfortable in the hands. The seat is comfortable and I 've had no issues with it. I 'm starting out with 30 minute sessions on low level to work on my technique and form and very much like the steady resistance. For older first time users on a rowing machine( I 'm 66), if you have n't already been exercising regularly this will give you a good initial workout at level 1. If you 're like myself and do regularly exercise but have n't used a rowing machine, once you feel comfortable with proper technique and form you 'll be ready to push upwards and this machine has very good resistance settings and built- in programs that will challenge you. [ I spent a solid researching rowers( from online reviews to customer opinions to pros/cons of water vs chain vs magnetic resistance). While a Concept 2 was desirable, the price was not! Finally, it was a informational video on Instagram by `` trainingtall '' that convinced me to go with chain/fan resistance rower. Sure, water rowers are quieter and have that soothing sound of rushing water, but you have to worry about( a) adding/removing water to change resistance,( b) make sure you use water conditioner to prevent mold and( c) the risk of eventual leaks. With a fan- based chain rower( as opposed to magnetic), there's no need for a variable settings because the level resistance is determined by how hard you pull. Sure, it's definitely louder but the wind generated by the fan is a welcome benefit for someone like me who tends to sweat more than most during exercise. The unit was very easy to assemble by myself and came with all of the parts and tools I needed. After a few minor seat adjustments to eliminate a slight wobble, I was ready to go in under 45 minutes. I like that the moveable, flexing foot rests have nylon pull straps rather than Velcro( which tends to wear out after extended use). The seat is comfortable and glides smoothly( back- and- forth) along the rail. I purchased an 8' exercise mat to go underneath after watching a YouTube workout video of the Stamina X on a bare floor and seeing how much it moved. With the mat, the rower stays put! I will agree with most of the reviews I 've read- the LCD monitor is pretty basic and rudimentary. It's also at an angle that makes the screen very hard to read( even in bright light). I use it strictly for watching my stroke count and strokes per minute- which it does well. To monitor my heart rate and to get a more accurate assessment of calories burned, I wear a Polar H10 strap connected to an old phone( Velcro 'd to the front of the rail( just below the LCD display). I 've been using the rower for 3 weeks now and I 've been very pleased. It's feels very solid and stable with no wobble whatsoever. I kind of wish the pull bar was a bit wider, but that's just me nitpicking!

Perfect for someone who is just getting into working out but does n't want the stress on joints( ankles, knees) and who may or may not have a great outdoor space to walk daily. Biggest complaint about assembly is that the instructions refer to nuts, bolts, and washers by item numbers( 1) that are slightly different than how they appear on the packaging and( 2) that disappear when you try to open the package. How about making the nuts, bolts,& washers different colors OR showing the item numbers on the plastic instead of the cardboard/paper background? The assembly was more complicated than I expected( it took me an hour to get it fully out of the box and assembled), but it was worth it once I got the whole machine together. I was only able to do 2 minutes on it my first time and my thighs had a good burn going! I also felt it in my lats, shoulders, biceps, and my core a bit, just after 2 minutes on it. I like that you can adjust the resistance and the seat easily. I have n't tried the resistance band cables yet, but I 'm looking forward to it to target my inner and outer thighs like it shows in the video. This machine does n't feel like a beginner machine- I work out already, and like I said, after just 2 minutes on resistance 3, I had to take a break and my legs were burning! If you 're a beginner, you may have to work up to being able to be on it for several minutes at a time. It gets your heart pumping, too!

We assembled it quickly and easily( we are NOT handy people) and it works very well. I 'm a beginner so I ca n't comment on the display- I 'm just trying to burn calories, not race. I like the fact that it's higher than other water rowers because I have lower back issues, so the fact that it's a bit higher, and also that the back/seat is higher than the feet seems to alleviate stress on my lower back. The only `` surprise '' was that it is a bit noisier than other water rowers BUT I think that's because of the tilt of the tank. That said, I think the tilt makes for a better workout because it seems like you 're pulling the propellers through more water( pooled at the bottom of the tank) than you would be with the same amount of water in a flat tank. Frankly, when I tested the flat/level tank it felt `` too easy '' for me. Yes, I know it's about how fast I pull, but I like the additional resistance. It's not so much that it's noisy as that I ca n't watch/listen to anything unless I make it loud. My husband said you barely hear it in the rest of the house. I just wear earbuds so I can listen. One other thing to note: even though you can put an iPad on the lip of the display, you have to be sure to tilt it backwards a bit so the display does n't flop forward from the weight. Last, but not least, you ca n't beat the price( and nominal delivery charge) and availability. It arrived within a few days of ordering it. Great purchase!

There was a one of 4 screws that did not fit properly in the mounting hardware and my display ended up in a crooked position. I have had the Asuna 8730G treadmill for a little over a year now. It is working perfectly and has been a very good purchase. Between my wife and I, we walk over 3. 5 miles on it every day! Great compact treadmill! I personally do n't like treadmills with consoles, I do n't like to have something so close to my face while walking/running and I tend to focus too much on the numbers. I like having open air in front of me and I can watch tv from far away if I want to. It fits well in my low ceiling( 6'5__quote__) basement and I 'm short( 5'3__quote__). Not too loud and buttons are straightforward. So far so good!

The rowing machine arrived with a gash in the package and the metal shroud around the Magnet was bent. During assembly I was able to bend the shroud back into shape, thus removing the risk of injury during the use of the machine. Once assembled the machine worked smoothly. In regards to the damage during transport I had very prompt and competent interactions with both the seller and the manufacturer. Obviously, the damage was caused by neither of them, I got it fixed quickly and I enjoy the machine. I was happy with both the purchase process and the quality of the product.

Awesome work out, wish the quality was just a little better. Everything works great, but the seam in the 2 piece runner does n't align well and makes a speed bump on every cycle. I 've had this unit for about a month and still have a hard time getting past 10 minutes! Its a butt kicker!

Ordering online was really easy, received it much earlier than anticipated. As a 1st time owner, just loved the way one can regulate the amount of exercise and target the muscle group to train- after three 1- hour runs( 3 separate days) it becomes pretty much obvious! Very smooth action as well.- good idea to use exercise gloves if you ’ re going to exercise hard. The one and only thing I didn ’ t love is the seat, found it rigid, hopefully it gets softer with use

I may have just started using my new rowing machine, but I am feeling a tightness in my abdominal muscles. This is a machine I can use. I am in a wheelchair full time, and to be able to transfer from the chair to the rowing machine is fairly easy, it just takes a few minutes longer for me.
