[ I was in the market for a serious summer sun hat instead of the cheap ones available at all of the big box stores. After much research I decided on Sunday Afternoons Ultra Adventure Hat. I received it and I 'm lovin' it! The first thing I noticed was the air I could feel circulating on the top of my bald head. Having vents on your hat are important, however, they usually allow burning sun rays to filter through. Usually I have to decide between being sunburned without a hat or hot with a hat. The Ultra Adventure hat has happily made that decision for me with its ultraviolet protection factor of 50+, including the mesh panels. No more polka dot sunburned head! Also, its so light weight you can forget you have it on. It is really the lightest hat I have owned. Its hard to believe it can do its job and be so light on your head. The downward sloping 3 ¼ ” brim shades my entire face and the cape keeps the sun off my neck, which is another great design feature. This hat gives protection to head, face, neck and ears without being obtrusive. Other features include a sunglass lock that holds your glasses in place. It works too. I have tried to shake my head to dislodge them and they stay put. Also, if taking a hat in a back pack is an issue for you, this hat folds in half at the brim and can be kept in your pocket. Without a doubt, this is the best hat on the market and worth every penny. I urge people to give this hat a try if you are shopping for the best hat out there. [ I 've had my first Tilley hat for about a month now and I ca n't believe I waited so long! The style is commented on a lot, but the comfort is the best I could imagine. It fits great and just sits on my head like someone is holding an umbrella over me. I 've worn caps/hats for most of my life, but I honestly sometimes forget I have this one on. Do yourself a favor and get yours now!

Best hat I ever had. Wife says it looks great. I did have to size up 1/4( from 7- 3/8 to 7- 5/8) since these hats are size specific and tend to run a tad small. Unless you have purchased Tilley previously, you should go into a store to try it on.

Dick's kindly stocks the Tilly Brand including a 7 and 7/8th size that FITS my husband's head( solving a big problem for me) He loves the hat and wears ALL the time due to a brush with skin cancer.

This is my second Tilley hat. This model is even better than my first one. Cooling vents around the top of hat keeps your head cool. Brim is stiff enough to resist wind and flexible enough to collapse for packing.

I LOVE THIS HAT! I have it in all three colors and it is my favorite hat! the brim is large enough in front to cover my face from the sun and long enough in the back to cover my neck! Just right! I wore it while geoducking and everyone loved it! I like all three colors, but I wish the Opal one had a flowered lining like the black and blue ones do! Other than that, I more than highly recommend this hat for all ladies! it's the best!

I love this hat!!! It is my favorite Sunday Afternoons and I have many others. The only negative is it runs a little small. One Size. After stetching out the elastic band by pulling on it hard repeatedly, it fits comfortably. My head measures 22 1/4 '' around. Now I love it. Good sunblock and better looking than some of the others. I bought the cream with the black band. I would buy the blue and black too but I hate the multi print on the inside of the brim. If they came in plain black on the underside like the cream, I would buy both other colors. Why the multi print? Looks old- ladyish! Please offer all colors with a plain black under side of brim!!! An addendum to my review the black hat should have either solid black trim or back and white, like black and white stripes on the band with black solid under brim for shade protection. The red multi print is aweful!!!
