I used it multiple times for racing and swimming in the pool with Aqua Sphere goggles and for diving/snokeling in the Ocean in the Big Island and Kauai, Hawaii and it stays on like glue and does not interfere with my goggles or mask seal. You can even push it down closer to eyes and it stays firm. Even diving through violent Ocean waves it stayed on-- up to two hours in the water-- no problem. I purchased the grey Latitude hat in March 2019. It has traveled in my suitcase to multiple places over the years, and washing machine cycles, and it still has its shape. Since I started having children in 2019 it gets worn when I am outside no matter what. Most sun hats I have purchased fade from the constant sun exposure, but not the grey one. The brim has lost a lot of its firmness over the years, but it still retains its shape and does not sag or has gotten wrinkly. Recently I purchased the BlueStone color of this hat and it ’s beautiful. My grey one is my main garden hat now the blue one has replaced my daily use.

It fits my head without any wrinkling or bunching up in the back, not to mention it's super lightweight, form fitting, and when you get caught in the rain it dries super quick. My only gripe? You need one in a brown color. I have eleven swift caps all told and only one comes close to a brown color, it's more a coral, which is now getting worn and frayed, but that one is not offered any more.

This has been my go- to hat for years. I 've worn it so much that the color has faded. I really like how the skirt can be unbuttoned from the brim and let hang- it provides an additional ventilation option. I also like the draw cord- again it allows ventilation options. I 've also found that the draw cord makes the hat easy to hang from my shoulder strap water bottle if I need to remove the hat while under trees for additional ventilation. I wish it was still available in yellow.

As a paddler and former kayak guide, I have a lot of paddle hats. Several models like this have a brim that goes down too far and makes it hard to see. This one is perfect. I got this hat because the brim is slightly smaller than my full on sun hat, so it ’s not as awkward to wear in the car or indoors, but still provides a good amount of sun protection. I got the goldenrod color, and it ’s a little darker in person, but still a cool color. It does seem to run a little small compared to my other hats of the same size, so if you ’ re in between sizes, probably best to size up. Oh, and the sunglasses holder is awesome! After having them in a couple of sun hats, I would never want to buy one without.

I was a bit skeptical but then decided to pull the trigger. Glad I did, very comfortable, innovative easy size adjustability, cool sunglass holder. What more could I ask for. Oh yes, it's light weight and did I say comfortable! I know have this in my travel kit for hiking and have been using it on the golf course.
