My kids and I love our hats for a couple of reasons. First, they are so light that we do n't feel like we are even wearing a hat that gives great sun coverage, but we are! Second, my kids are able to get great sun coverage with comfort. In the past most of the hats they wore had brims in the back too. [ I was in the market for a serious summer sun hat instead of the cheap ones available at all of the big box stores. After much research I decided on Sunday Afternoons Ultra Adventure Hat. I received it and I 'm lovin' it! The first thing I noticed was the air I could feel circulating on the top of my bald head. Having vents on your hat are important, however, they usually allow burning sun rays to filter through. Usually I have to decide between being sunburned without a hat or hot with a hat. The Ultra Adventure hat has happily made that decision for me with its ultraviolet protection factor of 50+, including the mesh panels. No more polka dot sunburned head! Also, its so light weight you can forget you have it on. It is really the lightest hat I have owned. Its hard to believe it can do its job and be so light on your head. The downward sloping 3 ¼ ” brim shades my entire face and the cape keeps the sun off my neck, which is another great design feature. This hat gives protection to head, face, neck and ears without being obtrusive. Other features include a sunglass lock that holds your glasses in place. It works too. I have tried to shake my head to dislodge them and they stay put. Also, if taking a hat in a back pack is an issue for you, this hat folds in half at the brim and can be kept in your pocket. Without a doubt, this is the best hat on the market and worth every penny. I urge people to give this hat a try if you are shopping for the best hat out there. Since its guaranteed for life, it will probably be the last sun hat you need to buy!! You may want to buy more though as soon as everyone sees how cool it is!

I pair this visor with earmuffs when I wear my parka with the hood up. I wanted to shade my face and eyes from the sun. I needed a visor that did n't wrap half way around my head and was flexible enough to let my parka hood come around my face. This visor is perfect for that. The wide ban also keep my hair out of my face.

Been wearing this hat hiking in the desert for probably five years. Wo n't hit the trail without it. Wicks away sweat very well and is very cool. I have washed this hat literally dozens of times which is why it does n't seem to have the SPF factor it once had. been getting sunburned on my head lately. So, after five years I am buying the same hat again! BTW, I bought two hats. One medium, one large. At 7 1/8 '' hat size the medium was too small. Would n't change a thing.

I love wearing this hat. I am a letter carrier and have a walking route so I use it for head/face protection. I have washed it a few times and dried it in accordance with the instructions each time. The last time I washed it and was drying it by way of the instructions but I got a little inpatient and decided to throw it in the dryer with air dry. I could not believe it but it still shrunk. So my next one will be dried by there recommendation.

I LOVE THIS HAT! I have it in all three colors and it is my favorite hat! the brim is large enough in front to cover my face from the sun and long enough in the back to cover my neck! Just right! I wore it while geoducking and everyone loved it! I like all three colors, but I wish the Opal one had a flowered lining like the black and blue ones do! I love this hat!!! It is my favorite Sunday Afternoons and I have many others. The only negative is it runs a little small. One Size. After stetching out the elastic band by pulling on it hard repeatedly, it fits comfortably. My head measures 22 1/4 '' around. Now I love it. Good sunblock and better looking than some of the others. I bought the cream with the black band. I would buy the blue and black too but I hate the multi print on the inside of the brim. If they came in plain black on the underside like the cream, I would buy both other colors. Why the multi print? Looks old- ladyish! Please offer all colors with a plain black under side of brim!!! An addendum to my review the black hat should have either solid black trim or back and white, like black and white stripes on the band with black solid under brim for shade protection. The red multi print is aweful!!!
