[ I carry this duffel bag to the gym. It has a shoe compartment that fits my sneakers. My feet are size 9 but it still has room for up to size 13. I was able to put my towel, after- workout clothes, wallet, and 2 bottles of water. I like this duffel bag because it's not too big and not too small. I took this Del Dia on a recent two- week travel through Turkey, and honestly found it to be one of the most reliable daypacks I ’ ve ever used. It came with all the standard design features found in the most popular, and even more expensive daypacks, but it stood out with its uniquely colorful design and branding. I lost track of how many times I was asked “ Where did you get that pack from? ” or “ Who is Cotopaxi and that llama logo? ” or “ I guess you won ’ t lose that, huh? ” This guy easily flattened down and fit inside my carry- on, 37L luggage. The double zippers on each compartment made it a breeze to quickly access any items I needed every day. All the zippers rolled smoothly, and the two smaller mesh inner pockets proved invaluable to hold gum, pens, lip balm, tickets, kleenex, keys, hand- sanitizer and even coins and paper money. At various times the medium pouch held my small purchases, travel journal, USB cords, glasses cases, and travel guide, among other items. The largest inner compartment easily held catalogs, my computer, compressible jacket, souvenirs and occasionally, my 35 mm camera. It probably would ’ ve fit one of the many cats I wanted to bring home! Although the weight of the pack grew over time with my stuff, the adjustable shoulder straps fit my torso to perfection, providing plenty of support, particularly where the pack rested on my lumbar region( for reference, I ’ m 5 ’ 8 ” and weigh 165). Harry Potter and Hermione couldn ’ t have done a better job designing this. I agree with the other ratings — the versatility of the Del Dia allows it to be readily used for day trips, work or school. For the price, plus the option to choose your own unique color, this bag stands out among all the others in its class. Would I add anything? In an ideal world, it would have an additional strap on the back to slide over a luggage handle. For long- term durability, perhaps a double layer of nylon or a tougher material added to the bottom edge. Like all packs, this one will make you sweat some in warmer climates, but that ’s just part of moving around. Incidentally, none of these are short- comings. I really look forward to using this pack over many, many years of travel and leisure.

I took this bag on a 10- day trip to Italy, and it exceeded all my expectations. With an average of 25- 30k steps each day, the bag remained incredibly comfortable throughout. One day, I carried two bottles of wine and a quilt around Capri with ease; on another, I transported five bottles of wine from Ischia to Sorrento without a hitch. The clam shell design was a game- changer — when I nearly got pickpocketed in Rome, the thief couldn ’ t get into the bag, thanks to how I secured the zippers. Initially, I was concerned the bag might be too big, but when it came time to pack souvenirs and wine, the extra space was a lifesaver. I even used it as my carry- on in the airport, and it held everything I needed with room to spare. This bag was, without a doubt, the best travel companion I could have asked for.

I bought the 30L travel backpack in February of 2024, along with some small and medium packing cubes from Peak Design. I 've been on two trips using this bag and the cubes, one for a 3 day business trip and another for a three week trip through Chili, Uruguay and Argentina. This has turned out to be a nearly perfect pack for me. On both trips I filled it with one medium cube containing pants, a small cube with shirts, and another cube with underwear. My 15 '' laptop also fit in nicely along with various toiletries and smaller items. I found it to be very comfortable on my back and easy to adjust. It has a nice, clean, unpretentious look to it. I also have a Pakt2 and an Aer Travel Pack 3. Although both are a little larger than the Peak Design, I found that the Peak Design turned out to be the most practical to pack and access among the three packs. I am very satisfied with this pack and the cubes. They make for a great packing system.

This backpack is the backpack that I ’ ve always been looking for. It fits my 16 ” MBP perfectly like a glove, and still has a slot for my iPad Pro. There ’s a thick enough padding to protect your tech. I love the quality of the material and looks line it ’ ll hold up nicely in time. I bought this a few months ago and have now done one short trip and a month long overseas trip with it. Great investment! Its a robust flexible pack that doubles as airline carryon and a large day pack. All the access points make it easy to get at my stuff while keeping the pack secure, and the options to pack up the straps and use the many carry handles or also to slip it over the handle of a suitcase makes it really versatile. This pack took a bit of a beating a couple of times at the hands of tour guides, but it shrugged it off. I think this pack will be with me for a long time:)

I recently purchased the Allpa 42L and absolutely loved it! Everything about it was very solid, well- made and well thought out. The only two issues that I had with it was it seemed like the waist belt was a little bulky if you did not want to wear it and it was way bigger than I thought it was going to be! I ’ m sure that ’s a good thing, but I did have to return it so that I can get a smaller one because it was so big. If you are traveling and you ’ re looking for a super great well built well designed well thought out bag this is a must have! I think this may be one of the most functional bags I have seen in a long time for traveling, I was sad to have to send it back, but looking forward to getting the same thing in a little smaller size!

Purchased the 35l duffel to help with photo cubes I bought. I have the medium and small camera cube. They fit well in the bag. Living in Florida this bag great for use at the beach and other shoots. No worries with setting on the ground when picking it up dirt, etc stays on the underside. Love having access through the top. Also great having a duffel for kick around use. Just pull the cubes out.

This was my main bag for the trip and it worked out great. I was able to use this for in and out of motels along the way. I was somewhat careful with how to treat this bag, but realistically, I tossed it in the back of the truck several times, and even with the every day abuse of traveling this way, the bag held up wonderfully and looks brand new. As with all of the design products, this is another outstanding bag.
