This is my second pair of these shorts because they have become my favorite hiking shorts. They fit snugly in the waist, but loose in the seat and legs. The pockets are the right number and in the right places. They do n't show wear at all.

I 've been wearing for a few weeks. These are turning into my workout shorts. Have done done a few base training runs and they 're comfortable and feel great. I 'm not sure I would wear them on a really long run but did 90min run in them and they were great. Will use them for camping/ hiking/ swim combo this summer for sure. I generally wear a shorter inseam specifically or trail running, but this inseam was a more modest and `` everyday comfortable '' approach. I am giving 4* because the front hip pockets are awkwardly short. I have a normal sized mobile phone and it wo n't fit in those pockets( or the rear pockets) vertically. Also, I wonder about the durability of the fabric long term. That being said, I am going to get another pair. I 'd buy even more if these were a tad heavier and with 5 pocket styling.

[ I got these in size M with the 6 inch inseam and they fit perfectly, i am 5 ’ 11 and 180lbs. Originally ordered size L with 8 inch inseam and those were baggy on me. Very comfortable and i love the back zipper pocket. Only thing i didnt like was the netting on the inside which i just cut out with some scissors, now they are just like regular boardies. Some people like the netting, i dont. The color scheme is beautiful, it dont get no more American than that!
