The shorts might run a little small. I tend to wear the L pants but got the XL shorts and they work well for me. I like the internal liner, but still wear by boxer briefs with them. I really need to try them without the boxes and see how they work. The pockets are a good size, but anything in them will swing as you run or walk fast. the draw string come in handy to tie the shorts off and hold them up.

I first got him the 5 '' and they were a little short for his taste. They are a little pricey but should last for many many years. He's been wearing them for a few weeks now and has no complaints. I do not put them in the dryer after washing, but hang to dry.
