It indicated the pockets failed when the reviewer put his phone in the pocket. No such issue on my part and that includes the protective case that covers my phone. It was snug and has no movement in the shorts while I run which means I can run comfortably without strapping the phone to my arm or leave it behind.

Ran my second marathon in these. Perfect. Did n't even know they were there—except when I needed to grab my gels from the side pockets. Tested out with a 17 mile long run before the race. Both times no issues with chaffing. Might be a little warm on a hot day, but perfect for mid 50s- 60s. One side pocket seem popped the first time I took them off, but that was fixed up with a little extra stitching from the sewing machine.

Great shorts, light, good length( I ’ m 5 ’ 6 ”). The more I run the more I want shorts that cover what they need to cover but otherwise get out of the way. There ’s a decent sized zippered pocket in the back which I don ’ t always need but it ’s also not noticeable so it ’s a well designed feature. I love these ones specifically because they ’ re form fitting and flattering( they hide the mom pouch!) and they ’ re very comfortable. These are the training shorts I 've always wanted. I generally hate shorts with liners because the elastic in the leg holes is irritating and annoying. I usually opt for linerless shorts and athletic boxer briefs. These are everything in one. The benefit of these shorts is that the outer shorts are attached to the inner liner. The pockets on these shorts stays put. I have another pair of Nike running shorts and the pocket liner pokes out the bottom when I put my phone in there. So annoying. The only thing I 'd change is the advertised phone pocket in the back is much too small for my iPhone Max. Otherwise these are perfect.

[ These breakaway shorts are great for running. Instead of shorts or pants sticking and chafing my skin on each stride, these just float away and move with each leg. This lets me think about the run and anything else instead of having the friction from fabric on my mind. I think this lets me run more and makes runs more enjoyable because of that lessened mental load. It's very bright and yellow, which is great when I 'm running. The fabric is very thin and lightweight. It's not quite see through, but something to be mindful of. At this short length of a short, I guess it's not much of a concern for wearers. I 'm going to keep this review short so I can get back out in these shorts and start another run!

I normally don ’ t write reviews. But these are by far some of the most comfortable and flattering running shorts I ’ ve worn in a long time! I ’ m 5 ’ 5 ” 115lbs and the XS was perfect. Waistband just right, not too tight or loose, and the rise is in- between typical mid- rise and high- rise so I don ’ t feel like I ’ m having to roll them down or pull them up to be flattering.
