I bought a pair of these when they first came out a couple of years ago and always saved them for my `` dress '' shorts. I always looked forward to wearing them as they are the most comfortable shorts I have ever owned. I finally decided to replace my lined Breeze shorts with the active breeze shorts because they are just so much more comfortable than the Breeze short. The extra comfort comes from the difference in the waste band. The old Breeze short had a typical stretch liner but the new active breeze short has more of smooth band where you do n't feel the waist band against the skin, you dont actually know you are wearing them.

These are great shorts for everyday wear and training. They are good for running too, but I like something a bit shorter, 5 ” or below is my preference. Design is a mix of athletic leisure and street- wear. Seems very versatile to wear in many different occasions. The fabric seems strong, durable and comfortable. I am able to move easily and comfortably throughout the day. I like the way it sits on my waist but still has room so it ’s not restrictive of my movement. The waist is also comfortable and stretchy. Some things I ’ d consider changing would be changing the string around the waste to something more stable and possibly adding some type of dongle at the end of the string for aesthetic effect. I ’ d also would ’ ve liked zipper pockets to help contain my items better when working out.

I was not a huge fan of the low rise versions for coverage reasons and upon trying these on I fell in love. They have slightly more coverage, are super lightweight, beautiful colors, and they are great for strength training and running. Overall a great purchase for the spring/ summer. I ’ d recommend going a size up because they do fit slightly small but also because of the slit in the leg it would be easy to get away with going true to size if you are fine with a tighter waist band.
