The Marcy rower is a nice piece of equipment, I have found their equipment reliable. This is still new and works well so far. It's great for combining a workout of building muscle and cardio. I kind of thought that with the price being as low as it is, this would not be that great of a product. I was wrong, it has delivered so far. I am over 200 Lbs. and was concerened it would be flimsy. So far it is sturdy, a bit squeaky but that is to be expected. The electronics keep you up to date on all kinds of information while you work out. Very cool product, especially if you are not sure how much you might use it. Yes there are better machines at the gym and for sale, but this is not a bad move if you are starting out!!

So far so good with this rower. Pretty easy setup, basic tools can speed it up quite a bit, but the tools that are provided works fine as well.. Use on the highest setting and it's a great work out, in the future I may find that I could use more resistance. Dual rails feel very stable. Retractor seems to take a few pulls to adjust to the level you are on, but once you get going it works great. Nice quiet operation, can hear tv/ speakers while using no problem. Body is not overly heavy, comes with pads/ feet to store upright to save space when not in use. Improvements I suggest are that you are practically sitting on the floor. Even elevating the height a slight amount would give this a more premium feel. Granted maybe this is normal, it's my first row machine I 've owned. My feet are fairly large( 13's) and I have found that they come out of the pedals pretty easily. Adjusting the strap placement has helped quite a bit, but I still find myself tightening/ fixing straps during the workout.- most likely a user error. Have n't tried a class with it yet, but ca n't wait. Overall happy with the purchase

As a matter of strictly personal preference, I would have loved a slightly larger screen but can live with this one. My# 1 suggestion is to have the instruction manual edited by somebody who has majored in English.

I ’ m very happy with it. It is very strudy and the seat is very comfortable. Usually most rowers skimp on the seats. Also the foot pedals are nice the straps keep them tight and the swivel movement keep your feet sturdy but comfortable. The machine is very smooth and quiet. I love this rower. The seat is comfortable and the resistance is great. The full arm rotation feels great and I love using the videos with it. The HR Monitor does not come with it and is separate, but I use my watch and it ’s fine. Assembly was tricky and required two people, but quick. The operation is very quiet, except the pedals click clack. The device looks sleek and I have plenty of room to slide all the way back. My husband is 6 ’ 1 and had no issues. I have a tough time keeping my feet in the pedals if my shoes are too wide or sole too thick. It ’s tricky starting the session and holding the rowers with the phone in the clamp. The water bottle holder is large. The metric display is small and can be difficult to read the legend, but once you get used to it, it ’s fine. The actual numbers are displayed in much bigger format. Overall I really love it and am glad I bought it.

The good: free shipping, good packaging, easy setup( took about 25 min), seems well built and sturdy. the not so good: foot peddle straps, rowing handle seems narrow. I have broad shoulders and I feel I would get more motion if the bar was slightly wider. Overall: I am happy with my purchase. It seems to be a good `` middle of the road '' rower without breaking the bank. At first I thought the resistance was n't going to be enough however after 10 minutes you can feel the burn.
