Besides some differences in the complexity of what the display can do, the feel and quality of this rower is spot on to the Concept 2. Great value for the quality

We bought this to start rowing( instead of cycling), so although we 're `` beginners '', we come from a lifetime of exercise. It's an excellent rower that's a direct comparable to the Concept2( think clone). The rower itself is perfect. The only element that could be improved is the computer/display. The data a rower wants altogether during a workout is spread across two screen modes, but it's not a large issue since one display mode shows the most used basic data. The Concept2 computer/display is far more evolved/refined, but the Ethos display lacks nothing important( although I will never know why folks want to see calories since that metric can not be accurate unless it takes into account body factors outside the computer's data).( In all fairness to the reader here, I 'm not convinced the power/watts metric is fully accurate but hopefully I 'm just wrong on this.) I hope Dick's guides improvements in the computer/display going forward. I 'd even be willing to upgrade the computer someday if new versions are released with more refined sophistication- the machine is really worthy of further improvement work.

I have enjoyed using this rower the past month. The IFIT program has been a great program to follow as a beginner and how to be more effective while rowing. Great Product. I really enjoy the ability to hop on and do any number of easily accesible iFIT workouts. It also has the quick start setting where you can get on and just start rowing, which is nice for crossfit and HIIT style workouts. Set up isnt bad. Easy to set up and workout right after.

I ’ m new to rowing, but the RW700 made it easy to get started. The guided iFIT workouts are beginner- friendly yet challenging as I improve. The build quality is fantastic, and the ergonomic design makes long workouts comfortable. Can ’ t imagine my home gym without it!

You need this rower in your life! I am an avid rowing machine user and this one has my vote! It is so easy to use and has a number of good workouts through the IFit membership! I love that there are a multitude of lengths of workouts so on those days where I am not really feeling it, I can still get in a good workout! Set up was very easy and didn ’ t take much time at all! This is an incentivized review and I was given this product for a reduced price in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion.

I have loved using this rower, especially with the IFIT features incorporated into the screen. There is a new workout creator feature that's very customizable. You can create your own intensity with intervals which makes you feel 100% in charge of your workout! All the better that during the workout, you can watch Netflix on the screen through IFIT and still see all your stats! It's been an awesome addition to my home gym and looks super sleek as well.

This rower is amazing. The best feature is how quiet it is. While not silent it definitely wo n't be waking anyone up in your house if you are an early morning workout person like I am. The magnetic flywheel really reduces the space this takes up and adds to the quietness. I will say I do n't think the upgrade to the 24- inch screen is worth the$ 300 price difference over the 22- inch screen model. Bottomline the best rower I have ever used especially with the iFit workouts, and the smart adjust system.

I 'm having so much fun with my rower. There are tons of different games, guided instruction, scenic settings, and streaming capabilities built in. Whatever you are in the mood for doing on any given day there is something that will keep you engaged in exercising. We 've had our Aviron for 3 years and it's the most consistently used workout equipment we 've ever owned. The best investment in our health that we could make. I 'm a former college athlete heading into middle age, so I still love working hard and being competitive... but I also need to take it a little easier on my knees. With my Aviron rower, I still get to work as hard as I want, participate in competitions, and not worry about hurting because it's low- impact! The countless programs to choose from match whatever mood I 'm in, so I 'm never bored- which had been the bane of every machine we 've had in the past. Rowing solo or with friends, competitive or casual, whatever intensity I choose, achievements and leaderboards, monthly challenges, streaming movies or listening to my playlists, structured programs that take the guesswork out of what to row next, instructor- led or not... The setup is amazingly and extensively diverse. All of these options come with the subscription, but one of the things that made me choose Aviron is the fact that, even without a subscription, you can STILL row metrics. The other smart rowers did not offer that. Theirs are no- subscription= no rowing. I could go on and on, but one more reason I 'll give that makes me continually happy with my purchase is that Aviron asks for our feedback constantly, then several times a year, there are updates adding more programs and features based on our feedback! Unlike other companies, they do n't just make a sale and forget us. In that same way, customer service is 100% vested in us having a great experience too. Like I said in the heading, ZERO regrets so far, and it just keeps getting better!

We bought the Aviron Strong rower this past fall, and since then I 've enjoyed learning all of the many ways you can get a great workout on this machine. I 've also enjoyed the online community and games available with subscription. You can play games and compete with friends. Zero regrets!

My husband assembled my new Stamina Water Rower for me and said it was easy. Only had trouble, with the included tools, getting the display tight enough not to droop. I love it! This is my first rower so I appreciate the larger seat as I am still working on getting comfortable and consistent form. It glides so easily and is relatively quiet that I can watch tv simultaneously. My husband said it was more comfortable than our recumbent bike. He is a big guy so researched to find a sturdy rower made better than cheaper versions I saw in the stores. Cost a little more than I originally wanted to spend, but I am so glad I did. I am sure it will last till I am ready to row outdoors, in other words a long time! I think I am seeing results in a very short time-- I know I am feeling them!

This rowing machine is wonderful! I did not want to give a full star down- rating for only a minor issue, so will leave my rating at 5 stars. The only issue had to do w/the LCD display attachment. There was a one of 4 screws that did not fit properly in the mounting hardware and my display ended up in a crooked position. However, like I said it's only a minor thing and does not at all impact the functionality of the machine. I 'm so glad that I purchased this rower!!!

I got into rowing at my local gym on this same exact rower and loved it. I deceided to buy one for the house( one of my greatest decisions) and tried Concepts and various hydro rowers. They did n't come close as far as comfort and also they did n't have a high enough resistance which I enjoy. I am not very good at setting things up from a manual, I 'm a video person, but I assembled this myself easily in 2 hours, very clever step by step instructions with the tools included. Nothing was very difficult. Then I had my phone connected to the screen, blasting old hip hop videos off YouTube and custom programmed my favorite rowing settings in barely 5 minutes. I have rowed every morning before work( highly recommended, hey you have one in the house now) and I am in ninja shape. Shout out to the Cyber Mondsy sale I saved a ton which made me finally buy one. Very impressed!

Love my Echelon Row- S. I purchased an open- box rower. There was nothing that I could see wrong with it. Works perfectly. I LOVE the large interactive screen and rowing with the trainers. The screen is large for me to see, as opposed to using my I- Pad. The interaction with the trainers makes the rowing time go faster. Having the trainers allows me to focus on my form and to challenge myself. Extremely satisfied with this purchase.

We purchased this after doing a fair amount of research on rowing machines and we are glad we did. We get a good aerobic workout along with a balanced upper and lower toning. We assembled it quickly and easily( we are NOT handy people) and it works very well. I 'm a beginner so I ca n't comment on the display- I 'm just trying to burn calories, not race. I like the fact that it's higher than other water rowers because I have lower back issues, so the fact that it's a bit higher, and also that the back/seat is higher than the feet seems to alleviate stress on my lower back. The only `` surprise '' was that it is a bit noisier than other water rowers BUT I think that's because of the tilt of the tank. That said, I think the tilt makes for a better workout because it seems like you 're pulling the propellers through more water( pooled at the bottom of the tank) than you would be with the same amount of water in a flat tank. Frankly, when I tested the flat/level tank it felt `` too easy '' for me. Yes, I know it's about how fast I pull, but I like the additional resistance. It's not so much that it's noisy as that I ca n't watch/listen to anything unless I make it loud. My husband said you barely hear it in the rest of the house. I just wear earbuds so I can listen. One other thing to note: even though you can put an iPad on the lip of the display, you have to be sure to tilt it backwards a bit so the display does n't flop forward from the weight. Last, but not least, you ca n't beat the price( and nominal delivery charge) and availability. It arrived within a few days of ordering it. Great purchase!

After being in the market for a rower for 6 months and being torn between getting the After 6 months of being the market in the market for a rower and being torn between the Concept 2 model D or Lifecore's R100 rower, I decided to take a chance on the Stamina DT Pro. My hope was that this product could offer the R100's cutting edge air/magnetic row resistance technology but at the lower cost of the the Concept 2( C2). Additionally, I liked that Stamina was also throwing in the chest strap heart rate monitor with this package at no added cost. This rower took a little over an hour for me to put together. I did it by myself but knowing what I do now, I would definitely recommend you have a second person on hand to help assemble this. Doing it solo, at one point I had no choice but to stand the rower somewhat on it's head( the plastic fan casing). The case now shows stress mark from this, but does n't effect it's performance. First off, I will tell you there are 12 programs you can use, NOT 12 resistance levels as I had originally thought. There are 8 resistance levels. I am happy with these levels though. L1 is comparable to L1 on the Concept 2, but at L8 the resistance is much higher than L10 of the C2. Level 3 or 4 seems comparable to L5 on the C2. Just as with the R100, with the DT Pro, your times will be slower than what you recorded on the C2( unless of course you 're on something you were n't before). The reason for this I believe as that the C2 gives credit for `` coast ''. With the Air/magnetic types it's as if your paddling into a current, so basically if your oars are n't doing work in the water you are n't making forward progress. It saddened me at first a little that I most likely wo n't be smashing any of my PR's set with the C2, but I 'm already over it. This is more honest work. Distances are measured with the DT Pro in miles. I 'm used to meters, but after 3 workouts I 've made the mental transition.* note; I can see in the display screen that there is a `` Km '' above the `` miles '' but there is no way I can find to switch it to Km's. Does Stamina sell the Km version to those outside the U. S.? The stroke of the DT Pro is wicked smooth. This was what I signed up for! It is also much quieter than the the C2. The saddle slide is also very smooth. However, the edges of the seat are highly contoured. I am 6' 0 200 lbs and my fanny fits within the contoured sides just fine. I could see fitting in this seat being a problem though, particularly if your pushing the 300 lb weight capacity of this rower. The other important thing I noticed about the seat/slide is that while, yes, it is smooth, if your weight is properly distributed over the beam, if you lean your weight out to the left or right, however, there is very noticeable `` sway '' of the seat that could throw you off balance. I do n't know if this was intentional in the design to make it a more realistic rowing experience. I 'm also not sure how much stress from the sway the seat can take before it will breaks. The foot- straps are my biggest hang up with the DT Pro. They are 2 Velcro strips that do n't appear to be reinforced in any way. With the amount of force my feet snap back into these straps especially when doing short/vigorous sprints, I honestly ca n't see these things being long for this world. This rower is easy enough to move around on it rollers. Storing it away in it's upright position is slightly awkward though. This is because there is a knob that needs to be fully unscrewed an removed to allow the beam to pivot into vertical position and then screwed back in get in the horizontal/ready for use position. Not sure why they could n't have used some kind of quick release pin. Ohhh, one other really important note: Do n't forget to unplug from the power source before moving the rower. I 've already make this mistake twice. Luckily I did n't damage anything. Yes, you have to plug the rower in to use the monitor and activate the resistance settings. Overall, I would say I got what I wanted and for a good price. Time will tell though. I plan to be pretty rough on this rower. I will update this review in few months to note how its holding up.

Obsessed with this rower! I 've been looking for a rower for a while now and decided on this one. I 'm so happy I did! I was needing something to replace running as a good cardio workout, but something that is easier on my joints. This rower is perfect for just that. It challenges my endurance as well as my strength with several different programs to choose from. I keep it in my bedroom for early morning rows while my daughter is still asleep and not only is it quiet enough to not disturb her, but it also conveniently folds up to save space when it's not in use. I would highly recommend this specific rower for anyone in the market for one!!

This is the absolute best rower I have ever used. The quality of the build is shown through its smooth operation and quiet nature. Both my wife and I have been using it at night after our daughter goes to bed, while during the day I have used it as a HIIT trainer — and it serves both functions extremely well. I can not express recommend this product enough. Minor issues I had with it in the beginning( i. e. counting in miles instead of kilometers) have fallen by the wayside.
